Nice work. You have inspired me. I just bought a tank of MIG gas. What settings are you using for the Tac welds?
Thanks John! There are no standard settings, just try out!
What kind of welder do you need to do this?
Hello,
You can use a MIG or TIG welder.
I used a MIG welder and protected the weld’s with clear coating against rust.
Lovely job thanks for sharing, is it stainless wire or mild steel you use 😊
Oooops sorry I got the answer further down in the comments
are you using a standard wire feed welder? What type of wire?
Hello Bruce,
Yes I use a standard MIG welder with 0,8 mm steel wire.
Thanks for watching.
@@BrutusMetalArt I want to try this. Do you think a wire feed with no gas would work?
It will work, but welding without a gas spatter a lot, so more cleaning to de.
Do these Ideas just come to you or do say I'm building a bird today??
Hello Candice,
I made some sitting birds and I wanted to make a flying bird, that’s only possible with the cutlery I wanted to use, so you have to collect that.
Yes, there is a planning, collecting the materials!
Hi Candice, I just finished a nice “table lamp “ :-) I post the video soon.
