Now I have an idea for Christmas gifts for my my granddaughters. Thanks! I could never afford all the laces that you put on this little purse. I would use less lace...that I can afford. My granddaughers will use these happily with the princess dresses that they got last Christmas. They both love dress up.

Yes, I agree with vj442. You are very creative. But too much can overkill. Sometimes less is best. One of the very first trims you put on got got covered up. I was screaming @ the screen nooo. Sorry to criticize.

I once made a wreath with hot glue when I lived in Hawaii and the heat made everything fall off onto the ground, not even in the sun. Now living in FL I am shy about the glue gun. Can you offer any advice as to how to sidestep this. Are there glues that won't melt in the heat of the day like in San Diego or Mexico, The Carib, Florida??? This is a great vacation dress up bag but I would hate for it to fall apart. Also it seems like a waste of a lot of lace you never even see? Lace is $$$.

Was it a special hot glue for fabric or just regular hot glue that you used?
Angela where do find your gorgeous lace. I found a couple legths in our Joanns but nothing like you have. Our Michael's does not sell lace. Can you help me out?
+Sharon Baker I shop everywhere, ebay, etsy, zibbit, online facebook groups you name it!!! You have to shop a little everywhere to build your collection!!! A great place to begin is Lavish Laces over on Etsy!!! Hope this helps!!!

Oh my. . I felt like the purse was lost with all the overlay of fabric. To me it seemed like a lot of wasted product that was just continuously covered up..... I would have approached it another way... just a tad much for me... But rock on....

Naticris Tellavi No I have not see any trouble when using Hot Glue and this concept. I would more or less use this bag on special occasions and not an everyday bag!! I hope that helps!
