- How to set the time on a Fleck 2510 head along with setting regeneration frequency. This is for a filter only. These heads can be set up for a softener. The setting of the time will be the same either way. The only difference will be the time they regenerate. The regeneration time can be changed. Call us for help on this - 800-698-9655
Let us please acknowledge this man who did the seemingly impossible. He made a quick, logical, concise, informative instructional video with zero wasted time. I applaud you sir.
Great info, but what about the pins behind the head/dial? (The gear says '2 mins per pin")
I found your video a mere 12 years after it was posted, but gave me all the info I was seeking in a short, concise manner, no wasted filler. Thank you Jeffrey!
This is perfect! Thank you for being able to provide so much information in a way for others to understand and utilize. I was so frustrated but this video is a big relief! Extremely grateful! Thank you!!
Nice Video. However, it should have been mentioned that you are working with the Backwash Only Version ( no Brine Valve Piston and Start time is 12 midnight ) and not the water softener version ( that does have a Brine Valve Piston on the left side and has a Start Time of 2 a.m. from the factory ). Also, I'd point out this is the 3200 timer assembly, which has been and is used on other Valves, and not just the Fleck 2510.
What is the point of the white dot? Where should it be set?
Wow, thanks! Now I understand the enigma that was my water softener!
I have owned a 2500 since 1992 and rebuilt it completely in 2017. Completely reliable, always has been. In my case, I like the softener to regen later in the night, say after 4am. So, I just set the clock time 2 hours behind actual. I believe the regen starts at 2:30am when triggered. Therefore, if you want to adjust regen start time, just adjust the actual time back as well.
This video was extremely helpful and concise. Thank you.
How do you change the factory-default regeneration time?
how do you know whats the time factory regeneration?
Thank you SIR, for your explains because I didn't understand at all how it worked ! Great! so one cycle for the Hour per day, and the other roll for adjusting the cycle regeneration, with strips from one or to every 12 days ! Good !
Is it ok to regen manually?
Is this a water softener or a iron tank? thank you
Fantastic!!! Thank you for a great explanation
hahaha he said cuva
Thanks!!!
Is this the same as a Cole and Massey? Thanks
Have a LGNT 10 2004
I have an old softener. I can't even find a brand name on it so I can google or RUclips instructions. It has no dial that I can see to set the time and the time of regeneration. It has the skip dial but I am never sure if I sure push the little things in or pull them out on the day to regenerate. I wish i could add a photo here.
It does have a dial, and it says "time of day" but I am not sure if that means time of day or time of day to run it.
Excellent. I hope this is the first in a series...
Thanks man. exactly what I was looking for.
Good point thanks. We only use these for filters. I have changed the narrative to reflect this.
can you explain whats the mechanic to move those pins I don't want to break anything where do you hold it from ? ( and how do you find out the factory time regeneration? thank you
We have this same setup for a borehole to remove the iron, not sure how it works,we have two of these one slightly larger than the other,we are having trouble with low water pressure and slightly cloudy water,I notice the skipper wheel has pull out metal tabs, all ours are pushed fully in,I am thinking some should be pulled out to regenerate, any advise would be great,Thanks Des
