I lived in Worthing as a kid, we were there in the big freeze of 1963, i used to sail my toy boat in one of the sea front ponds, both of which seem to have gone. We left Worthing for Australia in 1965 when i was 12, i still miss it. Very nice video.
Beautiful terraces and very nice, elegant apartment blocks. The whole town looks tidy and spotless. If I were a local I would like the lido back and hundreds of trees planted alongside that wide, bare promenade and the high street. More beautiful trees, more greenery, water features, works of art please. Thank you
How sad to lose so many of the main shops. I havent been back to my hometown in 4 years so this was much appreciated.
