Although I will be in my house until I die, I find this video motivating. Once a year I pretend I'm moving and pull everything out of cabinets, closets etc. and purge and clean. If I didn't do this my house would be out of control.

Drink more water. You may be dehydrated. That can cause anxiety. Find out how much per day. It has really helped me.
Also, get outside if you can in the sun a little each day.

Kimmy, something I’ve learned from being married to an engineer. Taking your time and making calculated wise decisions help you avoid mistakes and errors and helps remove stress as we learn to be patient and give ourselves grace as you mentioned. Wonderful video!

My dishwasher was nasty when i moved in. They never cleaned it. I took out the parts out and scrubbed them and cleaned the filters and everything inside and now it works great. Try this first you tube your brand and they will usually tell you what parts you can take out and clean

I got a Bosch in 800 series! It is the first time I haven’t had to make sure everything was washed before I put it in the dishwasher! I still almost wash everything but tested out not washing before the dishwasher! I have only had one thing not get totally clean!
Kimmy I find it useful to take a dry erase marker and mark where the shelves go in my refrigerator before taking them out to clean them . Afterward, the maker wipes off easily

Pack and purge EARLY is so crucial. I didn't do that when we moved three years ago because there were 'maybe it won't go through' circumstances, that kept me from getting with it. HUGE regrets on that procrastination, lol. Kudos to you on all of your efforts and planning to get into the new home as seamlessly as possible!
My mother in law passed away this year on new year eve. She had left the house up to the siblings to go through everything. So now I just feel like there lot of stuff that were getting from her. That I need to find spots for. But that the good thing about smaller house no need for lot of things. With our chickens they can eat lot of old things as well like noodles an rice that gone bad. With the crazy holidays I'm starting my job here soon so I've been trying to deep clean my house but with things coming from my mother in law house I feel like things don't get clean again. Lol

We are moving sometime in May (not having an exact date is driving me up the wall). To make my life easier, I'm packing 6 boxes a day. I have an adult child that will be leaving home at the same time, so I'm giving him some things while I declutter. Some things will be sold and donated too. I'm also making a TON of freezer meals this weekend to carry us through till the end of May. I'm starting with my kitchen and only leaving out the bare necessities that we can pack up in a crate or two on moving day. We are moving 4 hours away to the mountains, so I want to make sure that all my squirrels are in a row (ADHD iykyk). Packing up 19 years of our lives and moving to a different province is a daunting task, but getting a head start now should take some of that anxiety off my shoulders. Hi from uk Kimmy before you buy new dishwasher have you tried pulling drain out at bottom of dishwasher to see if it's blocked before buy new one give it run with no pots in it or put rise aid in it as well alot people just buy all in dishwasher tablet but never buy everything individually to see if your pipes are blocked as well
The Hubster and I are moving into our new home on the 18th. Mind you we are moving from AZ to Idaho. There is still snow on the ground. Wow. Our PODs arrive along with our new Refrigerator, washer and dryer the same day. I am feeling overwhelmed already but I am trying to make this a positive adventure. Love your vlog❤️

Wow! We really just changing rooms…. The guest room the master room and our son’s room.. eegads all the stuff to deal with. We have been working for 4 days straight, things are moving along but all the “STUFF”. I wish I could just throw it all out! That would be bad.
I was just watching a video by home repair tutor for a dishwasher that wasn't cleaning well. He took the sprayer out and cleaned that with vinegar because he figured it was clogged.

Decluter is insane what stuff accumulate over the years
I always get side tracked fall down rabbit hole
Cause times I forgot I even had these things
I did a similar thing with our DVD'S, my friend who worked at our local library asked me to donate the empty cases and they put them to good use.
❤So understand!!!! I had a month advanced notice and I was purging like crazy! Used ALDI big and little bags!! It was awesome and better than boxes Wrote on the the bags where they go and everyone that helped move loved it
Yes I used cardboard for my large pictures and mirrors. They are still not up yet but not stressing over it. Prayers!!!

Hi wow some of the meals U made I'm going 2 make. I'm Viv, 66 year's young. 😂😂😂 I've taken on a house & 7hra off land. On top off that, I've taken on 4 guys on parole. I'm nut's. Think there learning I'm a force 2 deal with. 😅😅. 1 cooks great meals, other working out side. Copping down dead tree's, & planting new 1s. Putting in fruit tree's & a huge vegie garden. My 3 boy's think I'm mad. May be, but it's giving back. Love watching your video's. Viv out😅😅😅

I moved about 3 years ago in December now but as soon as I know was going to move I started to pack as I am fussy on how things are and pack I packed my house packing took a little longer but unpacking took me about 2 weeks because I couldn’t stand living with box’s it drove me nuts the hard part was doing my lego

I saw the Blockbuster Video DVD case & it made me feel old. I live in Houston, TX and we don't have them here anymore. I am with you on taking it slow with the unpacking. I am one of those people who have to finish something once it's started. I've learned not to stress out if part of the room is not put away. For example, if I can put the dishes in the cabinets, but there are some things that need to go in the pantry I can do that project the next day. I'm very proud of myself for this accomplishment. My OCD has been crazy the last couple of months. Ugh. I'm working on it though. Thank goodness for some simple techniques. Thank you for the tips, tricks, information and guidance in your videos. I've implemented some in my own home life. 🧡

Love your video. If you get a chance to buy Bosch dishwasher, I'll highly recommend it. The best dishwasher out there.
A tip about organizing the dvds in a case like that is to leave empty spaces for new movies in the future.
Not moving but having a complete kitchen remodel so I need to clean and pack up kitchen…and live and cook in our dining room …it’s exciting but a different challenge I have never gone thru

If you haven't tried magnesium spray for your wrist you MUST. I have the same issue and when it flares up I rub it on and within a few minutes it is much better. It works for aches and pains. It is magical! Amazon is where I bought it.
It would be hard to leave this space! What will his parents be using the space for now? Your new house is beautiful too! BTW, I moved due to a divorce 2 years ago and I’m still not settled. In my defense, I went from 3200 sq ft with a garage to 2000 sq ft, no garage! I had to buy a large storage building.

I will be in my new place two years on April first and I am still moving things around to find the best places. We moved from a three bedroom house to a one bedroom apartment.

Check the filter in the dishwasher, it may need to be cleaned
I find it really useful to type the make&model of an appliance into RUclips to find tutorials of how to maintain them - also done it for our Dyson and our washing machine 😊

My daughter and I have been pre-approved for a mortgage. Before that, I started organizing. Also, we are on a list for affordable townhouses. We've been on that list for almost four years, and we are at 10. One way or another, we plan on moving at the end of the year.

If stored in a myler bag with an oxygen absorber, 25-30 years. If it's just a food grade bucket 6-9 months but I'm not to sure on that one.

You did not use a number 10 can. Did you use a quarter of a bucket? Store no more than 2-3 months of long term items.
RE Dishwasher: Check the trap, clean it, run it empty with a little dishwasher soap and vinegar. That should help. :) I'm crossing my fingers for you that it's just dirty.

Because they saved think it's 4 years mortgage money paid there bills everything else off first set them goal to have mortgage paid before moved to new home she did explain in one of her videos when first moved into there in laws apartment that had time to save before they decided when they wanted to move

Here's the thing about these recipes. You have to be raised in a culture that eats these recipes. She's a decent cook. Not too extravagant. I could cook these things and my kids wouldnt touch it....and I can honestly cook better than this woman. Not hating at all. Just sharing that it's not always about the recipe, its about the culture and family you're raised in and the ability for some moms to be able to cook these things on a budget but that doesn't apply to everyone. Take what you want from the internet (I do, there's a reason I watch these videos. I personally love them and apply certain things that I know will work for my kids) but don't beat yourself up that it doesn't work for you. This content is generations in the making.
