I saw how you used the palette. No one on youtube who were able to use the palette like you did. You made good use of the entire palette! Unfortunately, I couldn't get their new foundation because the color fits me was sold out. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials.
I am learning that, as you said, I often have to learn how to use a product “for me”. The techniques I use to apply things makes a difference in their appearance and performance. That’s something I appreciate about your approach, Elle. 🙂

I'm getting this in the mail any day now. I'm relieved to have found your excellent review. I ordered shade 11.5 as well & have been hoping it won't be too dark or too light. I have almost all of RMS's products by now (multiple blushes, eyelights, luminizers, bronzers, mascara, brown pencil, the original Uncoverup concealer in 11.5, lip sticks & lip balms, SPF 30 serums...) and I love every one of them. But I couldn't decide on a foundation shade. I have a truly neutral skin tone (not too yellow, not too pink), and all the RMS foundations look too warm/yellow online to me. But every cosmetic I've gotten from Rose Marie Swift is SUPERB, so I'm betting this will be too. Thanks again for a great review. I enjoy your channel. 😙👍🏻💙
Hi Elle! I have used this and a primer does extend the wear. I use Color Pop Coconut Primer. They work well together. I only powder in the t zone. (Dry skin). It does make the skin look pretty and in my case less dry.💗
Thanks, Elle. So many might have passed up this foundation due to poor user experience. I bet because of your expertise experimenting with the product, & sharing your tips with us, more people now will try the product. I just wish they would go with a different packaging system. A glass bottle with a pump, that maybe you just keep the original pump, & get the next one w/out a pump in order to be more eco-conscious would be a lot better. This foundation would definately be great for every day use. I'd love it if you would do an updated review on longer wearing, "special occasion" foundations, for when it really NEEDS to last!

I am one that really tries to stick with clean beauty as much as possible .. have been really wanting to try their concealer SOOO badly! Guess being that my under eyes are rather dark, I am hesitant to steer away from what I know (concealer wise!) Love trying new foundations that are in the clean category though. Living in WI and having drier skin type, a cream foundation would be very much ideal ... Looks so pretty on you, very much a skin like finish as you mentioned. Hola Elle! Girl your skin never looks dry so kudos to your skin routine ✨ I have unruly skin this year. It’s combo dry and oily in the most unusual ways. Ugh. Im so busy every day, if I wear foundation i need a long lasting one , and I’ve been searching FOREVER! I just tried the Stila “Hide & Chic” and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed how it sits on the skin and doesn’t cling to my dry patches. I may keep this RMS as a try out just in case☺️
I really enjoyed this one specifically because there have been dozens of times I have purchased a new foundation, tried it once, hated it, then tossed it. Never occurring to me that you have to experiment some and figure out how to wear it for your skin type. Game charger my friend. I also loved what you said regarding dry skin and not over-hydrating. I think I do that often so on my T-zone it looks oily or tends to break up. I’m going to tweak my routine slightly to see if I can get better performance out of my foundations. I've been curious about cream foundations, but based on your review I don't think this would be a good fit for me. I agree. I tried to apply it like my other foundations originally, and it was scary. I'm not too advanced with make up but had a feeling I may have been doing something wrong. I just apply it with my fingers and find that it separates on my skin, I've also had the jar for a while now since I rarely wear makeup so idk if that plays a role. But yeah, I'm going to try a brush.

Looks very pretty on you! The only RMS product I currently have is their contour/bronzer, which I like though I'm still not very skilled at applying cream products.

The cream foundation looked really nice, with and without the powder. I prefer cream foundations, especially those in a compact because I can carry it with me for touch ups.
Agree that it wears better as a light/medium foundation. I find it more emollient than the uncover up concealer. Still it’s-a beautiful formula. I got a sample and really enjoyed it.
Hi, I have purchased this foundation. I don't use it a lot but I will try setting it with a powder instead of a setting spray. I love the dewy look so I haven't tried a powder. I agree it doesn't stay on.

That foundation looks really beautiful on you. The only foundation I use right now is Burts bees so I would be interested to try this one once my foundation runs out. I literally only use one at a time until it’s empty and then buy a new one so thanks for such a great review so I can consider this
Well Elle..love the glow initially but alas, it went away after powdering. But THEN it returned at the wear test mark. I’m thinking that it does NOT dry you out!
