This is a FANTASTIC video! I’ve had hooded, down-turned eyes my whole life. Now that I’m 53, you can imagine how much more pronounced the hood and especially the down-turn has become! My favorite part is the very end since I have one eye noticeably smaller than the other. I finally know the best way to compensate for it! THANK YOU! I hit that subscribe button in record time and updated “notifications” to all!

Loved the video but everytime I watch a video about hooded eyes, everyone always uses browns and earthy shades. Can you do one with bright colors please?
    PS..you are beautiful!

Yes! I'm 50, and I want the COLOR! I never wear neutrals!

Yes please! I never wear brown because my eyes are hazel and brown makes them more brown, whereas purple pulls out the green. Brown is great for blue, green, or dark eyes, but brown makes my eyes look dull and tired.

      @ Chrisa Mayhew, Same here!
I'm 52 and never liked my blue eyes in neutrals (looked dull and muted). I love the light purple family - lavender and lilac.

I am in the same dreary boat. Now that I finally get how to really apply shadow...color is obviously the next step...but what colors??? I hate orange and purple on me. Blah!! So I just never know. Looking forward to something about this from this beautiful, patient, awesome girl also curious how to go from day to evening...would you follow this same premise and then what....I feel like my seven year old twin girls when I apply eye makeup. Doing it all wrong my entire life. No one to show me...my mother just caked on the blue shadow and black eye liner her entire life...lol...all I knew is I wasn't following...lol just loving in spite and adoring her confidence to do it and she actually felt wonderful about rocking this look.

This is a great video for beginners or people with hooded eyes. I've really deepset hooded eyes and I'm 40 now but it's taken years to find a way that suits my particular eye shape. Mine are weird because they are slightly upturned but really deepset really hard to work with.Thank God with years of practice I've pretty much mastered it. It's an on going battle because they change as you age so you are constantly altering your eyeshadow technique. Well done this video will help a lot of people. I wish there had been youtube when I was 20...kids are so lucky to have amazing artists like you xxx
