He is so handsome. If it wasn’t for his brand I would never guess that he was a mustang if I just saw him out at a show. It’s so great what you are doing for the breed!
Eton has come so far and such a sweetheart he is. He's really workman like in the dressage, such nice movement he has. So happy he's working through his nervousness ,he really trusts you . Great job Elisa 👏🏇
If the world realized where this horse was a year ago you would get a gold medal. Many of us were worried for him and for you at the beginning. I’m so happy that he looks so happy.
I love how much room you give your horses for their thoughts and emotions. You accept that he's nervous sometimes and that makes it ok for him to feel this, and still keep on going, and then gain more confidence. Your videos always make my day better! Thank you for posting them!
Pretty much already have tears in my eyes the first 30 seconds in, seeing how precious he is in his braids and going quietly on the bit!! 🥺😍🥰 I mean.... this is nothing short of amazing!!! Well done, Elisa and Eton!
crying tears of joy.... I adopted a black mustang mare in 1985 and wanted to do this but couldn't because of money... She did turn out to be the steadiest horse ever and lived to be 29 in my care. So WONDERFUL to see Eton doing this and showing the awesome possibilities of mustangs!
Eton is unrecognizable thanks to all your hard work and love. Thank you for sharing your fabulous life with your horses. I live vicariously through you.
Isn't it the truth? I ride like the wind now.🤣 She is everything I always wanted to be since I was 5 years old, riding my imaginary horses. I'm a child of the 50's- Roy Rogers and Dale Evans were my real parents. 🤣😘🇺🇸
Overjoyed. To fully appreciate this, you have to go back and watch the early training videos (like the "Fail" vlog) when it was suggested by some that Eton was "crazy" and could never be ridden. Look now at the physical and behavioral changes. 5th place in his first recognized triathlon...not bad...not bad at all.
Delighted to see Eton. He's a real sweetheart. He's come such a long way. Always my favourite mustang. You've done an amazing job with him. I remember asking you a long time ago. "Was he the most challenging for you"? You said "YESSSSSS " Look at him now? Wow love him to bits. Well done you. Xx
What an amazing transformation, it is hard to believe he is the same terrified wild creature who came to you last year. I am so impressed with the bond you have with all your horses, it is clear that Eton trusts you and wants to do his best.
I was in tears watching Eton's dressage. What a lovely boy. Yes he's still a bit spooky but he does it anyway. I don't know how his trot feels to sit but when I watch him he looks as smooth as a gaited horse. His canter is pretty but that trot looks like glass! I was truly moved by the changes that love and good training have brought about. But he and Wy are like night and day...and both beautiful. You and all your Mustangs are a great representative of how capable these tough little guys are and how far removed from the image of the "scruffy" little Mustang they can appear!
He is such a sweetheart, willing to do whatever is asked of him. Your style of training is so calm, so 'it's no big deal'. That is really showing with your young horses, as they are so honest. Great job.
ETON YOU ARE SO BRAVE. YOU GO DOWN TO A TROT IF YOUR NOT SURE OF THE FENCE, THAT IS SO CUTE AND SMART. YOU LOOKED SO CLASSIC IN YOUR RING WORK. OUT ON THE CROSS COUNTRY YOU LOOKED SO RELAXED CANTERING THE COURSE. WELL DONE🥈ETON AND ELISA
Aww, love Eton! You can tell that he is really trying to do his best to please you. It's as if he is saying, "See mom, I can do it!" And everyone says, "Yes, you can, Eton. Good Boy!" I love this little guy! Such a joy to watch him grow and become confident. 🥰🤗😘🐎
Super, Eton. Both these boys are so good for you. You can tell Eton's confirmation, longer-Friesian-like back, makes getting into the corners and dressage in general, a little easier for him than Wy. Wow, 23.1 and 25 for their first official dressage tests are so very impressive.
Eton did well. Remembering how spooky he was when you first got him. He has come so far since those early days. He is such a beautiful little black horse he looks like a show pony.
Wow! 2nd place and 5th--you should be so proud of these guys and how far they've come from that first day--I thought Eton, in particular would explode into shards! He's settling into the job nicely!
I adopted a four year old black English lab two months ago who had a lot in common with Eton in the early days. She has come a long way and just sat and watched Eton’s video with great interest. Of course she would find him intriguing! Two black beauties who have overcome so much! ❤️
I have not watched Eton progress.....but ,glad I was able to watch this! What a big difference ...love to watch him move! And he has a very nice, happy look about him!
What a good boy! Wonderful job, as always, Elisa. I so admire your work, especially with the Wild Ones. Thank you for representing the mustangs (and the OTTBs) in such a positive light. You make it look easy, and we know how not easy it is! Cheers!
It's lovely to see a super experienced rider with a baby horse out doing the lower levels AND then commentating the videos. I feel like I learn a lot about lower level competition from your commentary, about how a dressage test shouldn't look like Charlotte Dujardin and that having a rail or two is okay. I love these videos.
So awesome! I love this pony so much. He looks like such a pro, moves beautifully. To think how far he's come. Thanks ELISA for bringing a big smile to my dial lol (-: Marion
He is such a beauty. I think once he gets all this “stuff” figured out, he could be a super winner. Congrats on finish and thanks for video. Great job you two!
I love watching him do dressage, he clearly enjoys it and he has quite nice movement and build for it. You should enter him in the FEI pony division for some tests! His xcountry looks SO improved---balance, strength, confidence, he is really coming along. Your hard work and patience is clearly paying off!
He had some really great moments! He’s a great mover with tons of potential. Once his abdominal and neck muscles get toned up, he’ll move just like a warmblood. He’s the kind of horse I liked to work with back in the day!
I went back and watched his first show and on up to this one and he is really building some nice muscle. If you look at the bony boy he was when you got him he certainly has come a long ways. Yes, his can can. Just cute coming and going.
Nice job Eton. He’s really turned out nice. Is there a supplement you can give a nervous horse? I take magnesium and it’s helped me sleep at night. You are amazing💕💕
he's coming on great! there was a (short!!) period where i feared he might not be much of an eventer as he was so nervous.. but look at him now. great work elisa! out of interest what bit do u have him in for jumping? (might be a daft question i know soz lol)
It’s a D ring Mylar that I’ve configured into a gag. I tried it on him since he will sometimes grab the bit and stiffen lock his jaw and i would have very little influence. I would loose all ability to steer or slow down. It gives me a bit more leverage since the rope goes through the bit. He seemed to appreciate the support and relaxed when i needed to correct him. In doing so I was able to use the bit less. And he was very quiet in his mouth which he has been pretty mouthy in the past. So to me he seemed much happier which is always my goal :)
@@WallaceEventing yeah he defo seemed a lot more comfortable in it, that why i was asking. always amazes me how much little details can really affect things! ur a clever bunny! next issue to solve is some x-country brakes for wy lol!
I really really like Eton, Wy may be a little more naturally talented and less spooky, but I think once Eton gets some solid confidence with more experience he's going to be amazing. He's got such interesting confirmation too.
i took my hunter eventing and at first i was like “YEA, we got this” because dressage with beautiful! Show jump was lovely even though my horse hates the colors! and then cross country. my horse is scared of ditches, water, narrow fences, and she HATED the studs in her shoes (even though she has worn them before) yea over all we got 7th out of 20 but our dressage score saved us 💀
Hey! I'm looking for a helmet cam that is cheap, has a cord that i can plug into my computer/ipad so i can upload it to youtube. Can you please send me a link of a cheap go-pro? thanks

I was not trying to be offensive. I really enjoy watching all your videos and your journey with the mustangs. I was just curious. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me! Best of luck with your boys. 😊
You look hilarious on him, adult riding a Welsh lol. Which isn't actually amusing, what's the reasoning behind showing on a pony with a full grown adult weighing him down?
Do your research. Watch her first week ,month, with this wild fearful mustang who was living a life of Hell in a mustang holding pen. Then rewatch this.
too distracted by that luscious tail to see anything else haha
So amazing to see how far he's come from those first sessions where you couldn't even go near him without a meltdown! Go Eton!!
I so adore your little ‘mini Friesian’ mustang! Tugs my heartstrings with how far he’s come from that first TIP intro vid.

The difference between them always amuses me. Eton did a great job, he's a fantastic horse!

yay Eton! So wonderful to see these horses rescued from a life of dreariness in those holding pens out west. Thank You!
He’s such a looker now. Wow he’s gorgeous.
He looks so fancy in plaits!
Doesn't he?

And Wye

I cannot imagine a better mentor for this horse. Absolutely spot on with this spooky, but oh-so talented little guy!
I have got to stop crying every time he has a new video,, He is such a rock star in the making, Your Magnum opus of training.
Me too

Eton has really flourished in your care and training!! Such a good boy!

You should be so proud, and I love watching. Thank you for sharing.

He’s 14-1 so he’s classified as a large pony.
@catzndolz I could be wrong, but I believe they allow up to 14.3 hands--whatever 148149cm measures out to be
So good to see him, Who’s a brave handsome boy? Elton!
I love watching you bring your mustangs along and even more so with Eton! Keep up the amazing work!
He had some really great moments! He’s a great mover with tons of potential. Once his abdominal and neck muscles get toned up, he’ll move just like a warmblood. He’s the kind of horse I liked to work with back in the day!
Big ole butt and shoulders like that is hard to get on a little guy. Once he tucks it under, that’ll be a fine little eventer!
Gone and made a show pony out of him! Nice work.
He is such a brave boy...good job buddy 🦄❤️
He's being so good!!! He looks good!!!
Thank you so much for sharing with us. I love Eton and the way you have brought him on. Go Eton! xx
I just watched your ‘first day’ with him video, he’s become such a great horse
You can really tell he's getting more and more confident in himself!
Congrats Eton & Elisa! Awesome transformation of a wild mustang 🐎
WOW- he has come so far!! He looks really comfy.
I went back and watched his first show and on up to this one and he is really building some nice muscle. If you look at the bony boy he was when you got him he certainly has come a long ways. Yes, his can can. Just cute coming and going.
Great to see Eton progressing so well.
He’s looking fantastic.
Good morning Elisa . Eton was awesome just doing his thing. And he looked so pretty too . I am so proud of him to . Love you
His canter looks ✨c o m f y✨
Yaaay Eton! Love to see him
His little hooves!! 🦄
Good boy Eton! So proud of him!

Yes I use MagVet and also stressless for all of my horses.
Each horse is an individual. Congratulations on his first novice course. He coat is really darkening up.
wow he looks incredible. look forward to seeing more improvements
What a beautiful, amazing boy💗 and great riding!
Such a gorgeous boy, did so well in dressage.
Absolutely fantastic!
Love Eton, wish we could see video before he became a famous eventer.
I have all of his training documented. :)
Pick-Up Day 2019 Mustang TIP Challenge. That is the video you want to start with. And every video with him after. One year's worth of video.

Your mustangs are STUNNING! How many days of training does it take to get them to this level? They all look so fit and well-muscled!
I love that horse!!
Beautiful!
OMG I love him so much. What a cutie! You have come so far with him! K3DE next year? Lol
In due time ;)
@8:15 - perhaps you could have you helmet-cam synced and playing in a corner when we have these side views? Just a thought...
Amazing !! Well done xxxxxxxxxxx
He’s so pretty now he’s all cleaned up
Good boy!
I think wy should be in the gag bit instead of eton.😉 what a good boy!!!
He came so far I remeber when he wouldn’t let you get close to him

What bit does he have on in SJ?
Are you selling cos I will buy..
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
he literally looks like a tiny freisan omg
maybe even a connemara omg hes so cute

Comment once you have educated yourself concerning this horse and rider until then we find your uneducated comment hilarious.
What a dumb and idiotic comment 🤦♀️ Elisa is pretty small and looks fit so don’t even
