"Aisa sama na hota" is a song which I heard after many years and after her peformance went to find out the original one in you tube and surprisingly found that many people listened this song after Arunita's beautiful singing. It's her credit that we are able to hear such gems and treasures and fall in love with that song again with her flawless performance. Only complaint - one antara of that song was missing.

The antara was missing due to lack of time. U r aware of how some songs have been ruthlessly cut. The song teri meri kahani. She sang only 1 antara and even that was cut. V later on heard it in the uncut version

I heard the original as well years ago and then decades later, now, through Arunita and tbh there is virtually no difference. Arunita is just.....perfect. What she makes you feel through her beauty and her singing is just something you cannot express into words.

People do question neha mam as judge but for me she is a genuine music lover. Every old episodes I could relate to her reactions and Vishal Sir is very much talented.
People like me like to see reactions from judges and compare it to mine. Sonu mam has vast music knowledge but her reaction looks scripted same as Anu ji. Don't get me wrong they are great as judge but not genuine reactor.

Contestant forgets lyrics & judges bestow him with 'Mausam Badal diya' recognision. Clearly, for a heavyweight contestant, number of tear drops shed by judges/ guests during the performance is the deciding factor even if a cardinal mistake is committed by the contestant in the compitition.

Selection of winner by public voting is absolutely rubbish. This is not an election in democracy, it is a singing competition and the winner should be judged by competent judges through performances, melody, throw and singing skills. The public opinion is influenced by extraneous considerations like in this case a competitor was displaying skill of playing several instruments. The competition is of singing skills and not as to how many instruments one plays. It was very unfortunate that Arunita who received standing ovation for 99% performances, honoured by maximum guests, praised by almost every guest as heroin's voice was made to loose on the basis of faulty criteria.

Pre-1990s was the GOLDEN ERA of Hindu Music! 99% of the greatest songs belong to that era. Those songs had so much आत्मीयता, मधुरता और थेहेराव . Sadly with passage of time these 3 qualities decreased in our songs.
That is why a millions thanks to Sony for selecting only the GOLDEN ERA songs for those 2 Singing shows! And that is precisely what Sony will do in all their future shows.

I do remember golden mike was given to her on her first day. Sympathy votes for ambulance driver were taken. 24/7 both mother father stay on heads of judges. Arunita's mother came only for one or two time Pawandeep's mother came only for two episodes. I think makers try to make her on top using gimmicks of tips to Pawandeep who forgotten his lyrics during performance
