I love the B6. I have the Mr. Darcy in titanic I think. It is so pretty and functional. I use it for household stuff like budget tracking, dog care schedules like shots, grooming, training, and I use it for appointments and notes that I keep when I speak to someone on the phone pertaining to any kind of business/important things I might need to refer to later.
I am loving this series. I am relatively new to travelers notebooks. I started planning in June of 2018 with the Happy Planner mini. I still have a lot of Happy Planners and think they are wonderful, especially the mini. But, then I started using the Hobonichi Weeks in February and LOVE it. I love that it is one book, and it actually has everything I need and room to create things I need in the extra pages. I have purchased two of your Weeks covers, (I love the Mockingbird line). Then, a month ago, I started to get the bug for a pocket size. So, I purchased a Mr. Darcy Buttered Rum Classic pocket. I love the compact size. However, I thought I needed more room, so I purchased a Mr. Darcy Sweat Pea pocket plus with six dashboards. I have had it for a couple days now. I am just so torn about these two sizes and set-ups (Weeks, vs. Pocket plus size). The Weeks is actually perfect and I wish I felt totally content with just using that. I get pulled in when I see how fun inserts and dashboards are in the TN's. Both would work just fine for me. I just need to chose, and I can't decide. One problem I can't figure out though, is how people store all their inserts when they are done with them. That is one thing I like about a planner that is in a book style. I like to keep mine as a record of my life. So, what am I supposed to do with a ton in used inserts? How do you store them in an organized fashion to look at in years to come. Also, as a side note..... haha I want to purchase more notebooks, but obviously don't want to waste money buying a size that I will end up not using. lol I now have a pocket, a pocket plus, and two Weeks covers. I love my b6 outlander in time traveler and maverick. I have a mix of b6 and b6 slim inserts for journaling and my pathetic attempts at art journaling. I havent tried bullet journaling yet in a b6
I'll be ordering hand rubbed aging on my next Odyssey for sure, that notebook is just beautiful. I'm a 'big' writer too; wish I could fit my sentences on 2 lines in a pocket, but usually not! I love the b6 too, I thought I'd be in a personal or a standard, but they're too narrow for me. Not sure why I love the pocket and the b6 but they are both just what I am comfortable in. Sadly I could not bond with the Dr. Jones because of size, but should try to carry it for awhile to see if that works, sounds like once you know a size that is what will work best and creat your bond💡

I use the B6 for my journal and the Personal for my calendar. The leather on your B6 is beautiful. I love the darkened edges. I have a b6 Odyssey Hera. I love the Odyssey leather. My first B6 was a Mr. Darcy and at first I wasn't crazy about it, but now that it's scratched and worn in I love it. I have a growing collection.
It seems that I have the same thoughts as you...lol. Love my B6 because it is my comfort zone for my large handwriting as well. Also, I agree with you on that gorgeous Darcy with markings...sooooo beautiful. All of my Darcys have markings.

Love the leather. On a side note, I know the type of pen I use greatly influences the size of my penmanship. Rollerball 0.38 or an extra fine fountain are my favorite
Yes, I find my penmanship looks more leggy and naïve the thinner the point, but I can get some very pretty line width with a thicker ball point pen, I actually prefer them to fountain pens. To pull off tiny writing I do need a tiny nib, I still don't like the way it looks though. I guess practice would improve that, priorities!!!
As you know I'm a Chic Sparrow girl and because of the love I have for CS TNs I have always tried to keep them pristine with greater or lesser success. However, last summer my Boho TN got a stain "somewhere". That same day a fountain pen leaked on that TN! I was distraught. Tried to get the ink out. Shed tears. Cursed. I then spent hours on BST groups trying to find a replacement.Then about a week later, I took it out, looked at it, and my perfectionism vanished. It has carried over to my other CS TNs. Yes, I still feel a pang at the first bruise or mark, then I get on with life. I enjoy my Chic Sparrows in whatever state they're in. Beautiful then. Beautiful now.

I have tried B6 before and found it to be too heavy and too big. I'm one of those people with smaller handwriting. I didn't realize that until I was visiting my mom and she and both my sisters commented in how small my writing was. I always admire big loopy handwriting! To me it is so pretty. When I trybtibwrite write big it just looks messy unless I'm doing pholigraphy or something. Right now I'm using personal size inserts in a B6 Slim. Thinking about trying B6 Slim inserts in my B6 Slim for journaling and note taking, and moving my bullet journal back down to A6. I'm missing that size.
Yes, I have but I prefer to use it in the B6 E-Class. I don't like to have the elastics in the spine of books like that. Great question thanks for asking.
I started with your size Wide (my very first TN ever) and used those until you started making the B6, then used those until you started making the B6 Slim and that was the PERFECT size for me. I have been using the B6 Slim ever since and have never turned back, lol. Also, I have no desire to go smaller or try a different size. B6 Slim Forever! (and Chic Sparrow forever)! Also, can't wait for the purple Outlander!!!!
I can generally go up or down in my handwriting size, and that depends on the size paper. When I was a kid and got a bad handwriting grade, Dad made me (and sibs) write a page a day until grades went up. One FP nib size I love for larger handwriting is the stub/1.1 size. Makes handwriting have a calligraphy look. I must have missed what you don't like about B6... And, the only Odysseys I like are those w/o rings/splashes. I want my notebooks to carry MY life. I don't go overboard banging them up, but they are tossed in my bags w/o worry. Dye is one thing (I don't like undyed leather) but the rest is my story.

So far it's my ideal size for what I use it for, It's not ideal for more serious journaling or sketching, but for on the go it's perfect for me. I guess I didn't have anything negative to say, and in last weeks video I did say my opinion would be biased. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
i don't find usefull this video. I expected to be more related on how comfortable this size is compared to other. Or why would you choose this rather a regular a5. Half the video is how much you like that leather and how much you like that size, but not why.

I use a pretty box from Hobby Lobby and store my used inserts in it. We in the community call it archiving. I hope that helps.

B6 slim is my size as well, it is the PERFECT size! In Japan that size is highly regarded, it being the second most popular size in Japan.

I have tried to love B6 but honestly: my happy planner sizes are narrow and personal. B6 doesn't ring the happy bell in my mind.

Hi Jennifer. You said you were going to say what you like and don't like but I didn't hear anything negative in this video. I know you love b6 but I really don't like this size. So is there really nothing bad to say?
So far it's my ideal size for what I use it for, It's not ideal for more serious journaling or sketching, but for on the go it's perfect for me. I guess I didn't have anything negative to say, and in last weeks video I did say my opinion would be biased. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Lol. You confuse me. You don’t like a6 because it’s too big but you like b6. 😉😂. You don’t like writing small but you do like field note size.
i don't find usefull this video. I expected to be more related on how comfortable this size is compared to other. Or why would you choose this rather a regular a5. Half the video is how much you like that leather and how much you like that size, but not why.
