LYRICS
Please forgive me
I don’t know what you want out of this time with me
Alone away from everyone and why do you choose to be
All uneasy when I ever look at you kind of rude, attitude
Learn to play by the rules
You don’t care too much
Always worried now what you’re thinking ‘bout when I’m not around
And I’m sure that you’ll never will
Try to keep it down
All that fuss and doubt
Running off the mouth
But please be sweet
But please be sweet to me
Try to get away from it all
Just ignore the feeling
Not everything that happened was for another reason
Tired of playing games
Running round town
Acting smoke & mirrors for a living
You can’t leave me
This ain’t the way I want to leave it
Don’t care too much
Always worried now what you’re thinking ‘bout when I’m not around
And I’m sure that you’ll never will
Try to keep it down
All that fuss and doubt
Running off the mouth
And I’ll follow you through whatever, any weather
Cause I would never leave
I would never
But please be sweet
Please be…

In an alternate timeline, this is Strawberry Swisher 4.
I can totally picture this
In an alternate timeline, this is Death of a Strawberry but pt3 doesn’t exist
Yeah this one. This one is my favorite so far. All in all not just this album. This one here.
Kurt just never misses. Everything he has ever done is so good. No exception here.
It’s always been will swans beautiful guitar behind it that drug me in but yeah absolutely these guys just don’t miss
Hands down. Absolute heartbreaking song. All songs are unique but, damn, this hits very very very deep inside, and that's remarkable. Gorgeous. Gonna loop this until another melancolic song catches me.
0:54 *"BUT PLEAAAASE BEEEEEEEEEEEE"*
Ah... Damn Kurt, that *F E E L* 😩
this album is blowing me away!!
Holy fucking shit this song is gorgeous. I can't believe I hadn't heard this before!
Kurt Travis is just simply the greatest
this is the one i keep coming back to. such a jam. its like a john mayer song with kurt travis on vocals
Love Kurt. Beautiful album.
Love that chord progression change about halfway through, hits so well
It's like old Emery, loving the nostalgic vibes. Very excited to hear the whole album.
WHAT!! Hell nah wéy
@@Urbirdfood At the beginning, his voice and singing rhythm do sound similar
I can hear it, I love Emery
You are so right I just found this band recently but I knew DGD, but damn this song is for sure my favorite on the whole thing
God I can't wait for my vinyl to come.
The Strawberry Swisher Part That Never Was
I love Kurt so much and I'm glad I found this band. Just wish I found them a couple years ago and not a week ago. Would've saved me from this draining feeling I've had with music for a while now. I normally just listen to DGD, lots of other stuff too but mostly them and idk...This makes me feel nostalgic and makes me feel so much better. I've put this album on repeat so many times already and then this song and As We Fall Into Deep Waters more than that lmao! I just feel so refreshed and I think it's because I've been lying to myself thinking I enjoy DGD now and since Tilian joined but I really haven't. I play the older albums way more, especially Self Titled and Happiness because every song is different and sounds different and as much as I love DGD, I don't like Tilian and how the band sounds now at times. I can pick out a few songs here and there but with older albums I will listen to them all the way through.
But regardless of all that, Royal Coda might be my favourite band atm.
This one just resonates with me on a different level.
We in it boys I can say FIRST🔥🤘🏽
A perfect song doesn't exi... Oh wait
this is one of the greatest songs ever written
2:35 to 3:55 a real masterpiece
Sergio has always been super expressive with his playing… but man, this song. I haven’t had these chills since Stolas.
2:36 Oh God, they really went off into The Final Cut 😩👌
Claudio, can you hear this?
This album is 🔥
AMAZING SONG, love it so much!
Pra um caralho! Kurt e Will se combinam demais.
Papo.
This song is so good, the melody just hits well
La más bonita del álbum...
damn I was surprised to hear this track in RC, reminds me of Desperate from kurt's solo lp
Beautiful stuff!
i pogged so hard i pogged again
This is my favorite song off this album.
I fell in love. This track is wow

@@K3n_R0yI recorded the cover like a year ago and I just hated how it turned out 😅 Maybe I could give it another try
@@mesmerizefragaria but please beeeeeeeeeee sweeeeeeeeet 😂
This is amazing Kurt & royal coda. I love it keep it coming guys. Truly appreciate it. Hope your robbery situation gets sorted out. I know how that feels when my shit was stolen. Only thing they missed was my Gibson les Paul double cut somehow. Same one thomas erak had
Please stay sweet to May🙌🏽
still on repeat 🖤
❤️
They reminds me the Ocean ate alaska🔥🐢
Fuck this song is just gorgeous
Everyone killed it man, fuck
Just listened through the whole album and my biggest problem is that almost all songs sound very similar to each other. Overall the album is good, Royal Coda standard quality but the previous album was so much better, all songs sounded so fresh and distinctive from each other.
That last album was garbo TBH compared to this. Surprised on your take. Last album felt rushed and a clone to other Swancore albums. This feels like it has its own identity.
This song doesn't sound like any others on the album. It's like a jazz ballad.
same thing with JJ by dgd, it’s just wills writing style he likes to stay in the same general octave across albums, they sound similar cause the notes are in the same octave but the songs are very different
❤
