HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! We’re a homeschooling family of 6 & we are crazy about Jesus!

I'm glad you mentioned beans. You can buy cans of all natural cooked meat. They are 28 oz cans. They have beef, chicken and turkey. We like the beef. Hubby likes chicken. The brand is Keystone. I've seen it in Walmart, but we get it at Ruler. It's cheaper there. We're prepping with the meat, and I have about 50# of bacon grease in the deep freeze.

Marina you just need to give yourself credit. Don’t take down the cabinets. I think you will regret it. Like Shane said finish your kitchen , then move on to another. You can’t lose a friend you never had. If there leaving they were never your real friend. I love you . Your heart is beautiful.
When you put up a curtain above your sink, use a tension rod. It will go from cabinet to cabinet. It will camouflage how the window is offset.

Merina, glad you all are safe. But with your kitchen and house make over, it’s best to do and finish ONE room at the time. It’s going to cost you more money to just keep on changing, make up your mind and stick to it. You must know things are not cheap any more. I mean if you start one thing finish it. I have work on remodeling a lot of houses and believe me it’s not cheap. These are only some suggestions. It’s your thing.

Exactly! Some people are just selfish. It's a them problem, not a Merina problem.
Someone who announces that that are leaving your channel are doing so, to intentionally hurt you, they would just silently unsubscribe if that were not the case. Don't give them that power! This is your channel, built through blood, sweat and tears. Those that leave horrible comments or tell you they're leaving have no business being here anyway. You have such a light about you, they probably need to go and be somewhere dark. Sidenote, I absolutely love the new wood colour! Katrina changed our lives forever here in South Mississippi. Helene has changed yours forever. God will take care of the people in your area like He took care of us. It took years and years for us to get back to normal, but with God’s grace , we have grown and have come back better than ever before. Have your friends put foot to prayer and when the waters recede, help your neighbors with things as simple as washing muddy linens and clothes. Help impacted people drain water out of their frames with family photos. You will find that when people lose all the big material things, they are very thankful for the small things they can salvage. Any and all small acts of kindness will help. It doesn’t take a handful of money to make a difference in the lives of people. Prayers and hugs go a long way!
Merina I was literally talking about you this morning in Small Group at church. I shared about you living in East TN in the middle of this devastation, and how y’all were helping people. So know you have a friend (many friends) who love you and your family so much that we share about you with others. Because you ARE our friend. And I would watch you talk, paint, stain, grocery haul, homeschool, feed chickens or just a plain shot of a blank wall with a voiceover. You are precious and I understand so much of what you share. I had friends leave, had a time when I had NO friends, and had family leave in one way or another. So I feel so connected to you and am so thankful you followed HIS will to start this channel. So do what you need to do for your home and family even if it frustrates someone or others don’t like it. Because it is your home, y’all live there and need to love it. Me, too, Merina! Love you and the whole family. Also, a tip on the dry milk. Try mixing it half and half with your regular milk first to get used to the taste and gradually use less regular and more dry. And if you make it up, let it chill overnight in the fridge because it is way better tasting cold. Take Care!

The trick to making powdered milk taste as close to regular milk is to add a pinch or two of sugar and make sure it is dissolved good. Milk that is bought at the grocery store has sugar....I learned the sugar trick when my daughter was young. She never knew the difference. Love the brick work in the kitchen. I am wanting to try that in my kitchen, but scared of messing up. Glad you all are safe, and have plenty of food and water. Glad you're able to help Granny out.
My son has severe ADHD and is creative and with that at times is indecisiveness..God gave you that beautiful brain..give yourself some Grace as God gives you!! Think about it, if you felt so compelled to unsubscribe from a channel would you feel it necessary to comment that you’re unsubscribing? People who do that are looking for attention and also trying to hurt. Remember, hurt people hurt people. I am a licensed therapist so I do feel qualified to say as much. Trust me, you are doing absolutely nothing wrong and everything right. I’ve been watching you from almost the beginning and I assure you that you are doing it right. Merina it’s your home do what you want to do. Every time my kids see me with a paint brush they say “oh lawd again”, and my response is “I’m adding insulation to the walls”.
Also your flour and sugar can be vacuumed pack and put in the freezer. Don’t worry if you are hoarding essentials, you have a family to feed. I keep a good supply of essentials all the time.

Hi, I’m from Kentucky too. I love this Channel. She has changed my life more than she will ever know. I’m so overwhelmed right now with my house getting organized and I have problems getting up and get things done. I watch her channel and say to myself if she can, take care of 4 children and run a household, cooking, cleaning, fixing up her home, then I can too. However, with prices so high on flooring I need done, and decluttering, I say to myself it will get done and just thank God I have my home and just do one room at a time. Girl....I'm the same way lol I've been "remodeling " 😅 my kitchen for like 2 or so years lol. I have vhanged the paint color of my cabinets and walls so many times. Changed layout few times build stuff tore it down then re build it again tore it down put up wall paper tore it down painted hated everything I end up getting done and now I put shiplap on my walls painted them white and painted cabinets black and wood counter tops. I'm becoming more and more happier with it this ho around but I do see things I wish I would have changed but I'm to far in I'm almost at finish line that I'm just gonna deal with it for now lol. I'm also OCD and have anxiety issues. I change my mind so much
There is absolutely no problem with you going back and re-doing things you've already done. An artist always steps away from something they're working on and then later goes back to it. You keep re-doing until you're happy with it! I'm constantly thinking of different ways to redo things, and guess what, when the season changes, I'll redo it again lol.

I have never seen a hurricane affect people in so many different states. We’re on the Gulf coast of Florida and had the gulf in our yard for the first time ever. Thankfully, we have a frame house on blocks so it’s up off the ground. Water in the garage but not in the house. We are still praising God for our good fortune. Many of our neighbors lost everything, including the drywall in their homes. Our prayers are still with everyone still struggling. I love your faith, your energy, your family. People who have negative feelings, just don’t know better. Let ‘em go. The rest of us will continue to be here. ☮️💙
