this is so gorgeous.. I cannot thank you enough for making a mv about ryoshu that explores her emotions. She’s often a character who gets her deeper feelings cast aside in favor for her more definable traits, the violence, the distant demeanor, but I feel like there is so much tenderness and care that she hides behind all of that, and you’ve portrayed this perfectly. It’s just my speculation, but maybe it’s also to hide her true power. It has been implied several times that Ryoshu is way stronger than she is rn as we see her, so using a sheathed sword means she hasn’t unleash all her power yet.
The best way Ryoshu's Canto can go is to just have her being a fucking psycho with no traumatic background. I am serious. I would love to see a plotline that makes her just as monstrous as "her enemy", whatever that is. What would that mean for Dante, for the other Sinner? What if Ryoshu was someone's Kromer? Someone's Ahab?

We clearly see her violent tendencies, and this is bound to have made her into someone's violent "antagonist" at some point in her life. She can perfectly show pity and compassion for some people and ruthless violence towards others. I used "psycho" in a general way here, not the textbook definition of Psychopathy
@Hyperversum3 as I was typing that I lowkey remembered some villains in previous cantos did hold some sort of compassion towards their allies so I was like yeah nvm Ryoshu could 100% be someone's Kromer, but I wouldn't mind her also be someone who's grieving intensly, who knows maybe she could be a more unhinged Roland
