thanks this is was my art lesson,
OMG, I cannot begin to express how incredibly helpful this tutorial was. The technique where you sort of marked the Apex of the circle and then marked the outline of the flower was gold. I've been watching tutorial after tutorial trying to learn how to draw and they've all been helpful in a sense, but theyve mainly focused on how to go off of reference pictures or just "see" the basic concepts (shape, form, shading, etc) from a subject. They're helpful in a sense but i have yet to find something as practical as that beginning setup that you showed. That just makes things a while lot easier to visualize in the end.
