Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip! Loved taking a peak inside the two stores. I've ordered from Puzzle Nerds several times -- always fun to open their packages full of puzzle pieces and usually with some candy. Game and Hobby sure had a nice selection of puzzles from the unemployed philosophers guild. I've done a couple of their puzzles and really enjoyed them. The Geologic Time puzzle was especially fun (and unique).
that is so nice Sandra! thanks for that tour, loved the Unemployed puzzles, they are so cool! and great to see what puzzles are available in your area. I have also recommended your channel on my page so others can find you easily. thx for the great videos.
Thank you, this very helpful. I am a lover of scenery puzzles and I didn't see any in your first stop. You saved me a trip. Your second stop is more my kind of store.
That was an enjoyable trip around the jigsaw stores in Toronto. It's always good to have puzzle shops that you can visit in person. I was intrigued by the mention of the UK company Happily and tracked their jigsaws to an online jigsaw shop. They don't appear to have their own website unless I didn't put the correct wording in Google. Always good to discover new brands to try. 😃
We have something similar to the puzzle and hobby store here in California but I would LOVE to find a store like Puzzle Nerds - absolutely beautiful! I need a trip to Toronto stat!
Going to be in Toronto in a couple weeks. Will plan on visiting both stores. I have shopped on line at Game and Hobby, but nothing like being there in person.
I have heard from other puzzlers that you could borrow from the library but not all libraries do this. Also, you could start off with a handful of puzzles that you buy and then join a swap group in your area to trade puzzles. You can search for them on Facebook Groups for your area.
Thank you, Sandra. Love both of your selections, and the indigenous one is especially nice.
You're welcome. I'm looking foward to completing the Native Northwest puzzle.

You’re welcome.
Loved going shopping virtually with you. I have that "Symphony of the Sea" puzzle you showed the image of; I just haven't done it yet.
It's a beautiful image. I thought it was going to be hard but it actually came together nicely.

The instore experience is amazing. Have fun!
I was wondering if there was a way to borrow puzzles from the library? I want to get into puzzling but I don't have the space to keep them.
