Still cb350 is appreciated by them considering its quality engine performance. Moreover cb is sold just over 100 centres across India. Personally I prefer to have lesser cb350 on roads.

No matter what, RE can never reach the smoothness and reliability Honda products offer.. Those Honda machines are always a notch ahead of the competition in this aspect.
I don't like those people who think they can predict the future. RE has come a long way with its J series platform, yeah it has a lot more work to do in terms of refinement but it isn't that far from honda. Are you comparing the old vibrator (that is a great engine for those who like that old school mechanical vibe) with the current honda engine or are you comparing J series with the new honda engine? Both 350 platforms came around the same time i guess and until now i don't think there are any major complaints with the J series.
I recently purchased the highness and I was riding a Mojo earlier. In terms of refinement and handling, its better than mojo but I just wish if Honda could add a bit more juice in it! It needs some more push while overtaking on highways but everything else is just perfect.
Same feeling, Mojo has better mid end push in all gear, also 6th gear performance is lot better than CB's 5th gear. But low speed CB gearing is much better than Mojo and Refinement also next level in CB.
@neon cat i won't call it a degrade. Mojo had it's own characteristics but I wasn't sure if spare parts will be available in near future. And moreover i feel the third gear push on highness is better than mojo. I wasn't really confident to cross 100kmph on mojo because of handling issues and on this i am very comfortable. Mojo was a good bike no doubt, but Mahindra could improve it. If they would have taken care of it well, i would ride it for another 10 years honestly. My next choice was interceptor but i just decided on highness for practical reasons.

RE classic. corner it like a pro. corner it as if you are about to touch the ground (the footrests touches the road) and the motorcycle will pull itself up on its own. that's how these motorcycles are being made from ancient days.
I will be probably buying CB350 by month end but I hate how CB350 owner make their entire personality about hating Enfield. CB350 owner are very toxic at least on the internet. Enfield is a good bike, get over it and enjoy what you have.
I have classic 350 2019 model and I'm so disappointed with RE 3rd class build quality it can hardly cross 80 km and every month there is some problem with it i wouldn't suggest anyone to waste money on RE
Cb 350 won the race has nothing to do with Japanese prowess. It won becoz of lighter crank. Honda's engineer put lighter crank so engine can revv up quickly to give better acceleration but in the tradeoff bike looses out tractability whereas RE did exact opposite as they wanted to stick to their usp i.e tractability and thumping sound. This is the main reason why cb350 do require frequent gear shifts.
CB has taller gear ratio thats why you have to change gears often in traffic. but on the up side it has better highway cruising speed and more fuel efficient.

Weight matters in acceleration/deceleration basically.. how quickly your bike gets up to speed and how quickly it can get to 0, The lesser the weight the more these things become significant..(for the same power output). So yeah.. maximising power and minimising weight is necessary in a drag race. (But we have to achieve this while not losing track of balance for safety purposes).

RE bikes are not manufactured for racing....it's meant for cruising with high torque.... The said RE fans are here because they are loving the torque + matured engine behaviour and the connect with the engine while you are cruising from 0 to 100kph. Yes whoever may compare.... But RE is always RE.. in j series also RE maintained its torque that gives a lively feel while driving at low speed as well as top Speed. Hond is also the best in its way.... But RE is made for different league....not for racing
Bro try BS4 classic and all new classic its alot of difference in the feel . The BS4 vibrates more than bs6 but the thump and sitting posture is also rich. While all new classic lacks in thump,sitting posture is also lower sitted and produces less power than BS4
I think handling and sitting posture is better in hness than all new classic and also engine is way better just take 1 or 2 rides of hness u fall in love with it A honest review from old classic owner and new hness owner

Now the bike designs are revised to suit the current generation and they succeeded in doing so, but RE is an Indian brand which manufactured bikes from Chennai from all the way back to the 50's with the rights obtained from Enfield British.

Classic 350 doesn't have a USD fork. It's just a conventional telescopic fork with a cover on it.
Whereas, dominar ktm etc has USD forks
