Regarding the 3” lip they created. Is there a min lip width that should be used? What about a max width?

Why did you go from wet to dry sanding ?? 🤷🤷

I've found that wet sanding removes more material faster cause it doesn't clump on on the paper your using. So initially you'd want to wet sand so it's down far enough for their agrigate to show and then dry sand later so it removes less while still making an even surface.

Shouldn't there be a reinforcing mesh within the concrete?

You know whats funny is that the U.S. had a top secret plan to make an aircraft carrier with the same principle. Since ice floats on water and is hard they tried to make a boat. The only problem is that the ice could/would shatter on explosive impacts. So they added cotton to the frozen water and it made the ice STUPID strong lol true story.

The shredded fiber glass was what that was for

This is a bit outdated. It's possible now to make these thinner nowadays.

What is the ratio of cement to sand to fiberglass?

Concrete countertops are terrible! They etch with exposure to grease and acids from fruit, cleaners, or vinegar. They absorb everything they touch and the more etched they get, the harder it is to keep clean
