Awesome, glad to hear you liked it! Yedora is quite powerful and in the recent MOM set she even got an alternate Halo Foil variant which I’m definitely gonna get! 🤩
Some fun options I wanna throw into the wind... I figured you would also add Ambush Commander, but perhaps you think four options are enough after game testing...? Evolutionary Leap is kinda fun in here, as the land you get back from the sacrifice comes in untapped and can pay for Evolutionary Leap again. Works great with Proteus Machine or Temur Charger, which can be sac'd an infinite amount of times to a free outlet to get infinite green mana (from the Forest), even without Living Lands/etc in play. Similarly, you can sac Birchlore Rangers, Branchsnap Lorian, or Kin-Tree Warden to a free outlet and use the land to pay to morph them again infinitely, which is usually enough to go infinite for a win with a combo card. It's hard not to see those five as must-include cards for a Yedora combo deck. I think Outland Liberator is one of the best green Art/Ench removal options in creature form, and should be in every mono green deck, but especially Yedora, and is an easy choice to replace Reclamation Sage. I'm also a fan of Guardian Augmenter, as it nullifies a (likely) removal spell targeting Yedora, then requires two more removal type spells to accomplish the same/similar task. Basically spending 3cc to force three removal type spells to be played in order to get at Yedora, I would say is mana well spent, not to mention the deterrent factor of players possibly deciding to use their spell on a different threatening creature. Caller of the Claw is another good option to abuse an infinite creature death cycle (since sac'd crits do hit the graveyard before coming back as a Forest), or just wait to use after a creature/board wipe. I kinda prefer Auger of Autumn over Courser of Kruphix for playing lands and casting cards off the top of my deck, but the infinite life potential of the Courser is hard not to try and indulge in (maybe run both?). It's also hard not to include Dungrove Elder (and Coiling Woodworm...?), but I also understand not doing it, alas. Eldrazi Monument also helps stall out the game a bit easier, while providing a way to cycle creatures out of being stuck as a Forest. Baru, Fist of Krosa is a wincon if you have available green creatures you can attack each opponent with, and can sac a creature infinite times. Grothama, All-Devouring is another efficient draw card (should be a minimum of 10+ cards, pending how many creatures you have, and how much power the biggest one has), especially considering Grothama will become a Forest after it dies, and the creatures that die fighting it will also become Forests... so... win-win-win...? Jolreal, Empress of Beasts is a fun... preemptive hate card...? She needs to be removed before a creature/board wipe can be played, assuming they believe you are prepared to discard cards and tap mana. Or use her in an all-out attack to remove a player? Last, Emergence Zone is useful, but Winding Canyons is the better choice.
Those are some wonderful suggestions! Gotta see, if and what I’ve got here and what I can trade in to then put into my deck. Grothama I already play as a commander in another deck, but if I ever pick it apart, I agree: he’d be a fun inclusion! Thanks a lot and if you’ve got other suggestions for my other decks shown on the channel, don’t hold back. Always open for new ideas, unknown/undervalued cards and surprising interactions! 😁❤️
Not sure. There are different brands. Maybe just google outer-sleeves? Don’t even know what brand those are tbh. Was years ago that I acquired them 😅 Thanks, man! And congrats to your 900!! 🥳
Found the name of the Sleeves! They’re called KMC Character Sleeves and are sold in packs of 60! There’s even a matte version for these, if you prefer having no decoration and/or want a matte shuffle feel! :) (Added this to the description as well for everyone to find in the future! 😙)
You consider thousand year elixir to get around the land summoning sickness? I also use inventor's fair to get one of the game ending artifacts in mine. In also found evolving door kinda fun to sacrifice land creatures for any creature I want.
Elixir and Fair are great suggestions, thanks! I do play both in my King Macar deck already though… if I stumble upon one or the other in a binder, I’d trade for them and include them, definitely in my Yedora! Evolving Door seems interesting, but can only search for a single creature each turn… seems slow. What are your experiences with this card?
@@CardboardTutor I kind of like it. It's not the fastest thing out there but fun. I treat it more as a value card to help with the longer games. At the worst it's a one time sac outlet to get a morph creature face down. I treat it pretty much like a tutor for nearly any utility creature you need you can do every turn if you got land creatures out or even a face down morph creature.
Ezuri’s Predation is very strong/disgusting with a land animation effect in play Nacatl War Pride is cute/gross with land animation too. Makes opponents choose between their land or their life
Interesting point, though I do enjoy winning with comboing out. Another 8 mana spell might be too expensive... then on the other hand, what's 8 mana for a green deck, am I right?! Might try it out. ;) Nacatl War Pride actually HAS to be blocked, so another way to get rid of your opponents' lands... quite mean. ;P Both don't end the game though, but rather slow it down and causes everyone to team up against you... keep that in mind. It is unique, gotta say, so kudos! :D
@@CardboardTutor being the only player with lands and 30+ beasts has ended a fair amount of games for me in Titania. your opponent can tap the animated lands to prevent them from combat with the War Pride is the choice I was referring to. You could probably take out a tapped out opponent if you catch them unawares
@@mortycremwatch That's true, guess I'll actually have to find some space for the Predation now... 😂 Uh, spicy! Have to see, if I still have one flying around. I know my wife plays one in her Arahbo kitty tribal, but I can't steal that from her... 🤣
@@CardboardTutor the Nacatl tokens give you a lot of devotion too. Makes you a lot of mana with Nykthos/Karametra’s Acolyte to turn into a lot of damage with OG Kamahl
@@mortycremwatch very true, though I'm not playing any of your named cards and I find it hard to cut anything (open for suggestions what you'd switch for what). Kamahl I already play in a premodern EDH deck at the front, so he'll prob. stay in there ;D
Quite interesting suggestion - haven't seen or heard of it yet! Though this might not win you the game right away, since your infinitely big creatures don't gain trample through it... then again, it does eat a whole bunch of my opponent's creatures and offers another infinite sac outlet for cards like Altar of the Brood. Will be considered, thanks! :D
@Cardboard Tutor going to test out Ezuri's Predation. With the lands being creatures I can wipe their mana and have enough tokens to finish them next turn.
If you need to make Yedora stronger as your commander you could add BlackBlade Reforged cuz of all the extra lands, OR use Strata Scythe by exiling 1 basic forest to get a power buff since all of the "upside down lands" will be Forests.
@@CardboardTutorRoughshod Mentor - Green Creatures get trample. Bellowing Tanglewurm - Green Creatures you control get Intimidate. Certainly many ways to give trample and wonderful suggestions for anyone who wants to go the (commander) damage route! For me personally, I enjoy playing Yedora less combat focused and more towards combo. I also enjoy that weird old cards like Living Plane find a home here in this deck. 🥰
