Great song, bad religion is hands down the best band ever. Their music is so complexed and grounded plus the melodic sound is epic, Greg graffin is a phenomenal vocalist and so intelligent
@@LordSnarff I'm sorry did I ask for your irrelevant opinion. Sit down child, you don't know punk rock or what makes a great band. Go listen to your Taylor Swift.
Absolutely, after listening to many BR tunes, I have come to see that there is a significant amount of intelligent content in the lyrics. Integrating intelligence and punk music has changed my thinking and attitude towards punk. The "regular guy" deal lends a different spin also. They are a great band and I am so happy to have reconnected with BR. It's all good ! What a GREAT band !
"Every day I wander In negative disposition As I'm bombarded by superlatives Realizing very well that I am not alone Introverted I look to tomorrow for salvation But I'm thinking altruistically And a wave of overwhelming doubt Turns me to stone"
When I first got Recipe for Hate I thought it was awful, but every time I've listened to it since then it's climbed another spot higher on my list of favorite albums
yes its good. They are pretty similar in sound to pennywise but I will always say Pennywise is better just facts. I haven't listened to BR since the 90's and im going back in time checking their stuff out. I kinda just forgot about them and I gotta catch up, some 2000's songs are great. Hardcore melodic punk. Thats the shit.
I know, right? I really can't believe I forgot about them either... How do you forget about a great band like this, with so much influence on your life? Still, I forgot about a lot of music I had in my old cassette bin... Been so busy the last several years. I've been fixing that and going back through some great old albums lately. =D Thanks once again, BR & Greg!
keep carrying the torch. i first heard br in the late 80's/early 90's. their new music is just as good as the old. they are a timeless band that will never be surpassed.

I first heard this in '94, bought the album as soon as I could, that album is probably the BEST punk album ever, I think because of the backing vocals by Eddie, the lyrics and the engineering/ producing .... Fucking well done. A HUGE step for punk rock.
@renshay I can relate, I have a bad brains tatt on my arm and am 41 years old. Punk has been more than just music to us and we keep it going. This scene will never die....
That woman doing the harmonies towards the end, that's Johnnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde. She has appeared in a number of other Bad Religion songs over the years.
I was there when this was airing on havocTV I was barely starting high school and still payed attention.. I liked being anti social and knowing bands you didn't pay attention too.🤤
Yeah. Amazing artists, all of them and Greg deserve all the credit. I saw their concert on the small town I was born, the threw the best concert the town has ever seen
breath-taking song! I like how the whole album sound. It was a denser sound than that of their previous records. I m not sure that I like R4H better than Stranger than fiction; but this song tips the scales for sure
las dos veces q vi a BR y tocaron esta canción lloré de la emoción una de mis canciones favoritas de BR, si es q no es mi favorita BR lo mas grande q existe
Sometimes I just have to say, "prionic? wtf?" and do a quick google search. Susurrations on new maps threw me for a loop too. Only band I have ever had to do that for. Greg+Brett=lyrical genius.
Anybody else see that "White Zombie" banner behind them during some of their snippets of show footage? I was but an early teen then, but I vaguely remember reading in RIP magazine (I know, I know) that the two bands were touring, circa 92-93. The next big tour was with Green Day and Seaweed, w/ BR opening for GD stateside and GD opening for BR on internationaly dates.
awesome man. the resurrection sounds good. like bringing punk back to what it was. delirium reminds me of that br song. very few bands today are carrying the torch although rise against and time again are worth listening to.
Vedder actually sang a whole verse in Watch It Die on RFH. "I saw a man on the big blue screen. He ruled the world economy. He said the rich would never concede. But they would soon be put to sleep."
yeah eddie vedder sings in the song named " watch it die " doesnt tim amstrong also sings in the television song in stranger than fiction ? I think I recall him singing there
3:08 Johnette coming in with the "IT STRUCK A NERVE" always gives me chills. This is one of my faves.
The chorus with Johnette Napolitano gives me the chills.
That u knew who did that chorus.. Iuv that!!
This comment is overrated
Bad Religion is probably one of the most underrated bands ever. It’s hard to believe this song has less than 1 million views after more than 12 years.
It is well known and appreciated for good reasons to the right people.
The others don't know them for the same opposite good reasons. 🤷🏻
I agree
Bad Religion is one of those bands that should play halftime at Superbowl, but society will never allow.
Not including jazz, bad religion is top 3 all time American group
Great song, bad religion is hands down the best band ever. Their music is so complexed and grounded plus the melodic sound is epic, Greg graffin is a phenomenal vocalist and so intelligent
daoust26 I dont wanna live in a world without melody
I like your profile pic.
Top 10 for sure and so underated
Best band ever? Calm down spanky

The second chord in the progression makes me feel like I can do anything with my life.

What a GREAT band !
They are commie buffoons , nothing intelligent to be had.
Bad Religion fucking rules, i have been into then since i was a teenager and i'm 33 years old!
It's the lyrics and guitar style for me.
"Every day I wander
In negative disposition
As I'm bombarded by superlatives
Realizing very well that I am not alone
Introverted
I look to tomorrow for salvation
But I'm thinking altruistically
And a wave of overwhelming doubt
Turns me to stone"
My favorite lyrics ever
When I first got Recipe for Hate I thought it was awful, but every time I've listened to it since then it's climbed another spot higher on my list of favorite albums
one of their best songs !
i think Bad Religion and The Offspring, those are bands that have almost all good songs in album, most of songs im listening is 1 good song per album
This song never gets old.
This video is basically what goes on in my brain constantly
yes its good. They are pretty similar in sound to pennywise but I will always say Pennywise is better just facts.

Love this band and song. It's hard to get better than Bad Religion :)
The parts with Greg and the chick harmonizing together is amazing!

i love the early 90s punk rock or just rock videos lol.....
Bad religion will always hold a place in my heart

sends chills thru my body every time i hear this song.
I guess it struck a nerve.

They were so AWESOME at the Sunset Strip Music Fest a couple of weeks ago. Just as kick-ass today as they were in 93!!
2:44 Talking about Epic masterpiece timeless song´s parts...
Sent a murmur though my heart * those backup vocals
las dos veces q vi a BR y tocaron esta canción lloré de la emoción una de mis canciones favoritas de BR, si es q no es mi favorita

Man I am so glad I came across this video. First song I heard from BR.
What a memory !
my fave bad religion song ♥
Sometimes I just have to say, "prionic? wtf?" and do a quick google search. Susurrations on new maps threw me for a loop too. Only band I have ever had to do that for. Greg+Brett=lyrical genius.
The underlying message in this song is so powerful yet conveys a fucking punch to the face realism of what exists in society.
Anybody else see that "White Zombie" banner behind them during some of their snippets of show footage?

One of my favorite songs.

It remains a secret to me

Serio, Bad Religion continua muito bom, e vivos, contrariando toda a história da "musica boa" mundial.
