G major is higher because its supposed to be an octave higher. So with the g major key its the g 6 notes up from the a. The g thats a note lower from a is the one your thinking of. Does that make sense?

G major is higher because its supposed to be an octave higher. So with the g major key its the g 6 notes up from the a. The g thats a note lower from a is the one your thinking of. Does that make sense?
