This tour with Apocalyptica was absolutely amazing, fortunately, I was able to see them live at one of their shows and it was absolutely worth the money.
You have many trucker friends you don't know about, and also rescue vehicles, and others. You are a wonderful person, who puts out trucking videos that showcase your country's beauty, yet it still shows your job. Pikachu really is the showstopper, because everyone recognizes his presence too. Your videos are GREAT and UNIQUE too and that's why so many recognize you. Gothenburg is a special kind of city and trucking in Gothenburg is also special in it's own way.
The moment i saw your first couple of videos i kept an eye open for your truck and i've seen it a few times. Unfortunately i don't travel by car that often so i never really get a chance to salute you.
Unlike Stockholm (Fjollträsk), Gothenburg is always INTERESTING to watch. Whereas Stockholm is just full of people speaking out of their nose.
Oh and it's sad times indeed. I remember 20 years ago, right at the turn of the millennium, all motorbikers used to greet each other on the roads if it was sunny and dry. Didn't matter how big or small your bike was, didn't matter what "gang" you were part of (well, aside from the heaviest criminal rivaling gangs ofc) or if you were boy/girl/man/lady. Everybody waved at each other when passing. It was as if we were all one big community keeping each other on two wheels rather than four in our "death boxes".

Thank you for your videos so we get to see what driving around your beautiful country is like. Also having driven trucks now since 1984 we in the UK have always flashed our lights when we recognise other drivers or local companies trucks that we see when we are away from our local area. I have stolen some of your ideas including the flashing of lights at each other, however my passenger,REX, is much older than Pikachu and now he has his own camera so i can see what he can see! Also Thank You for showing the positive side of truck driving i am sure that you have inspired many young drivers to come and join our industry. Take care and drive safe. Aww that is so cool that you got trucker friends as well as cars. I like to flash at truckers bc I appreciate and respect them, but they don't always acknowledge. I always pray for safety and keep thier trucks in good working order. Even you! 🤗🤚🤚🤚

Always wanted to be a truck driver when I left school, but then realised I needed to be older, so did my electrical apprenticeship, still love seeing the big lorries on the road, stay safe you truckers.

Hi Andreas and Pikachu! Wonderful episode! You have so many viewers who are not truckers and who aren't even in Sweden. We all think highly of you and if we came upon you we would flash our lights and give you a wave out of Internet friendship and admiration. Stay safe and know we are thinking well of you.
To the international viewers. It is a sewere storm blowin in over the south of Sweden now, with lots of floodings and fallen trees. However, people living in the rural areas (those we see at the relaxing part of these videos) usually have a chainsaw in the car from October to May :) Yesterday I cut down a small tree that was lying on the road, so be careful for the trees.

Thank you, I asked this question in another video. _9:27__ Trying to answer why so many are flashing their lights towards me._ In North Americas flashing your lights tells other drivers there is a speed trap coming up. (police looking for speeders) Trucks might flash their marker lights to say "hi!", headlights might be used to say "hello", but most commonly flashing headlights are used to warn on-coming drivers that the police are ahead and to make sure you are not speeding.

An excellent video again, thank you. Your opening sequence has given me an idea for my retirement: I'll move to Sweden, buy a ferry boat, and create the Ferry Boat Pilot Dashcam // Sweden channel on RUclips. I wonder how I go about getting a ferry boat pilots license.
I think some day I have to go to the Gothenburg area for vacancy and just driving around, waiting for an opportunity to flash my lights at you (and Pikachu of course), Andreas :))

Some trucks here in the USA will form a line to block traffic from cutting them off when traffic has to merge. I have had nut jobs almost hit emergency vehicles stopped at accidents trying to cut me off at the last second.

I enjoy your videos; they're a nice change from the 'Russian bad driving' videos that seem to be everywhere. I do look for trains in your videos as I am a retired locomotive engineer (you might call them drivers) in the Western U. S. (Oregon, in particular). Thanks again!

Awesome! Jag bor i Borås, och brukar kolla dina videos. Älskar (kanske fel ord, men förstå mig rätt) när man får se dashcam från svenska bilförare. Många är ju så korkade..tyvärr. I was recently on a roadtrip in northern Sweden, and there, you ONLY flash your lights to warn others about reindeer on the road. Which I had forgotten about. So the first time I was like "why are they flashing their lights at me" before I was quickly reminded 🙈

I thought that driving on a shut down lane (1:40) was a Dutch problem, but it seems to have made it's way to Sweden as well :(
In The Netherlands, where roads are way busier than in Sweden, many people drive over crossed out lanes. There is no set fine, if you get caught, you will have to explain in court and the fine will be at least 400 euros. So, don't do it...
The most expensive set fine (apart from speeding) in NL is quite surprisingly for not letting tram passengers step out of the tram at a tram stop (i.e. not giving way): 390 euros...

Its my impression that most truckers greets each other on the road with flashing lights.
Highway patrols dont like it though, it may cost you a ticket for improper use of your lights.
There is some truth here, as quite often the average car driver gets confused on this signalling ... ?
