You can be sure the surrounding airspace is now off limits to commercial aircraft, nobody knew Iran was going to launch missiles at this specific time. This was just a case of being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
I flew BA from Australia to Europe 8 weeks ago when Iran were threatening to strike, and BA had the common sense then to avoid this air space and fly south over Saudi Arabia. Can’t believe they’d be so negligent as to reverse that decision, especially after what’s occurred in the past 2 weeks.
Maybe they are over Saudi airspace here? At least if this British plane (going to Dubai) came from the UK, I would expect that there's no need to use Iranian airspace. If the plane didn't come from Great Britain, I would have expected that the video would not only mention the destination but also from where the plane came.

There will be NOTAMs in force warning about overflying certain parts of that region because of the conflict.
