That’s a good challenge. Sometimes though, as we say in America, “you can’t polish a turd”. Still, it’s great to study things and see what isn’t working and how they can be improved.
This concept is brilliant!! So many people are in LOVE with their "world-building" and it can get really frustrating as a viewer. Good for you for taking another crack at it. I run a film festival in Northern California and we see so many films that take forever to get going and so we pass on them. You only have so much time in a short film to get the story going. Also, some people are so precious about their shot lengths, letting them linger 5 times longer than they need to. I need to go back and re-edit my own films, but they are already on RUclips, so it isn't possible. That was interesting about your take on the music!
