    Two things I really miss in the app: The "Save as" option and the Pedal configuration is only available on the amp itself.
    One thing that still needs to be fixed is the Mode switch. Not always "EFF" is shown on the display.
    Other than that, it's the best amp in it's price range.! Hats off to the presets too! It's nice to have presets with just the amp and a little reverb. Or presets just showing the effect.

    0:59: "... move those effects anywhere in the chain." I think this is the most important information if you - as a beginner - want to learn about effects and signal paths. This seperates Fender's GTX amps from Line6's Spider or Boss' Katana in my option. Even if it doesn't make sense to put a specific effect before the amp or vice versa it is still crucial to test it out on your own to understand what's going on. Think of the great guitar players back in the 70s and 80s ... they invented sounds or even genres because they were able to play around freely with the equipment.
    By the way: it took me quite some time to find out about this difference to other manufacturers amps - so maybe you should emphasize more on this?

    It's been pointed out elsewhere that you really don't _need_ to use the Tone app (which does seem pretty awesome) since "everything" can be done right on the amp itself. Just like I NEVER used Fuse with my Mustang III.v2 (still a GREAT amp, IMO). This Tone app, however, seems like something I would love using.
    OK, so let's assume that I use ONLY the GTX controls themselves most of the time... but then, say, I want to "re-connect" with my iPad's Tone app the next day. Does whatever I've stored on the amp itself then push to the Tone app and update that? (You only mentioned how the Tone app _affects the amp_ and, rather conspicuously, NOT vice versa. Which leads me to wonder...)
    And if I happened to use BOTH the Tone app _and_ the amp's controls during a session... do the amp knobs being moved also immediately reflect in the app? (I'm assuming so.) Thanks!

      @@fender hi, is it possible for you to show features of using Fenders tone cloud Community uploads ?
      I wanted to know if the community has a big library of uploads for various artists/ songs so that I can just find and select the tone / effects a particular guitarist used on their track and use it since I don't have the experience to create the effects they used.

    I’m getting the Fender Mustang LT50, and I’m doing research on the fender tone app because it seems like a really cool way of making your own sounds. Do the presets you make within the app save onto the amp? so if you were to disconnect the amp from the app would i be able to still use the preset?

    Produced very well, I think I have a good idea of how it all would work. I'm wondering if this will replace my current slightly compicated Amplitube system that I embedded in Logic Pro X, that does allow me to use two different Fender amps at the same time, with all the adjustments with pedals, etc. -- but I must use headphones for silence for everyone else in the home. [I liked reading on this video to help get it, but gave up, typos on the text at least three times :57, 1:15, 9:08]

    Just bought the gtx100 and I’m in love. The presets are meh, the distortion is meh, and the effect quality is mid grade at best but man the amount of effects and combinations make for endless tonal options. The app design is great! It easily beats every other competitors UI and ease of use. DL’ing presets from the community and beaming them to the amp is dead simple. Very happy with it! ⭐️4/5 ⭐️

    Awesome video! I was wondering, what is your take on using a 50W or even a GTX100 at home? I'm using a 15W tube amp now (Superchamp XD) which is more than enough and a 50W or 100W tube amp sounds insane for home usage, plus it won't sound good until you crank it up. The GTX is of course digital and not a tube amp, is it fine running it at lower neighbour friendly volumes?

    • @muhammadsteinberg
      @muhammadsteinberg 3 года назад +2

      I know this is late but gtx50 is way more than enough. It's pretty loud in my house. Good thing about it is you can simulate tube break-up at low volume.

    Maybe I am an idiot, but on the phone app when looking at amp settings, you only see the first 3 (gain, volume, treble for example). I cannot figure out how to get to the other settings that are not on the screen. Any attempt to swipe over just adjusts one of the tone knobs on the screen and the two little dots under the middle knob to indicate there is a 2nd page does not do anything when tapped/swiped. Trying to swipe anywhere else on the amp just makes it swipe over to the next pedal.

    This app is garbage. It does not work with Mustang LT25. You notice how Fender only responds to people who talk well of the app. Fender will only support you if you buy their more expensive equipment. So if you have a Mustang LT25, don't even bother with the app because it will never recognize your amp.

If it’s that great please show it. I’m searching everywhere for someone to show how it records and plays backing tracks.
