Dragon Age Origins Full Complete Soundtrack by Inon Zur - MovieAndTVThemes. One of my all time favorite games and soundtracks! Enjoy - In crispy clear HD quality!
i cannot play this game again because no matter how many times i swear i will ~explore~ the different races-classes-endings i always end up making the same old choices
Wow... Actually, I've done none of those things, except side with Zathrian. I've also accepted Kolgrim's offer and despoiled the sacred ashes too (after saving a pinch for Arl Eamon.) I've also spared Logahin, on my first play-through, becasue my character believed in second chances. I was NOT prepared for the effect that had on poor Alistair, though. Let's see, other 'evil' choices.. I've sacrificed Isolde a few times to save Connor, though one time I have actually killed the poor boy... I've been a blood mage, but not by accepting the demon's offer in the Fade for the Connor quest. But you can buy the book in Awakenings, and after you get the unlocks, you have them forever. Hmm I have NOT yet sided with the werewolves in a "Let's kill Zathrian and all the elves" sort of way, yet, either. Perhaps someday. Edit: Wait, now that I think on it, I HAVE sided with Zathrian and killed the Lady of the Forest and the werewolves.
10 years ago I became a grey warden and slayed the arch demon. I fell in love with the witch of the wilds and my best friend became king. I united the magi, dwemer and the elvish. I entered the fade and bought the remote to a golem. Nothing in my life has ever made me feel so important to a story than this and just at the tender age of 6 I had literally become legend (I named my character after me) in just a few weeks. I became the hero of feralden. WE are the hero’s of feralden. Cheers for being the best experience I’ve ever had DA. Maker watch over your spirit.
@@mohammadqasimawais9155 well my characters didnt wear armor cause it was funny seeing them run around in their undies so i thought the scenes were like that cause of that
If anyone was wondering the lyrics for "I Am the One" (2:45 and 56:02) they are: Elvish *English* Heruamin lotirien - *I feel sun through the ashes in the sky* Alai uethri maeria - *Where's the one who'll guide into the night* Halurocon yalei nam bahna - *What's begun is the war that will force this divide* Dolin nereba maome - *What's to come is fire and the end of time* Ame amin - *I am the one* Halai lothi amin - *Who can recount what we've lost* Aloamin Heruamin - *I am the one who will live on* Heruamin oh lonai - *I have run through the fields of pain and sighs* Imwe naine beriole - *I have fought to see the other side* Ame amin - *I am the one* Halai lothi amin - *Who can recount what we've lost* Aloamin Heruamin - *I am the one who will live on* Ame amin - *I am the one* Halai lothi amin - *Who can recount what we've lost* Noamin - *I am the one who will live on* Ame amin - *I am the one* Halai lothi amin - *Who can recount what we've lost* Noamin Heruamin - *I am the one who will live on*
Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition simply lack the sort of magic feel Origins had, it's hard to describe. Sort of like how Dark Souls 2 feels inferior to demon's souls or dark souls. This was BW in their prime imo
tazeris indeed the music in da 3 wasn't memorable at all, safe for that one mission where your stronghold or whatever gets attacked by corypheus. I hope Andromeda will bring back that BW magic for I really doubt it lol

So many memories of this game and the Awakening DLC... And the worst thing is that it'll never be the same again, I will never be 15 years old without a care in the world after coming home from school, being an introverted kid these games were so important to me in hindsight. When one day I save enough money for a high end PC I would love to try newer games such as Divinity or Pillars of Eternity, even though I'm afraid it just won't be the same feeling. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Playing BG3 now and it is the first game to make me feel even close to the way I felt when first playing DAO. Lovely game with amazing characterization and depth, and the soundtrack to match.
the feel for DA:O was just eh best. every time the into music launched up - it just got me ready for a true tale and ballad of epicness the themes for each area were imbued with emotional content-which matched the race and area represented. WHAT A STORY - WHAT A GAME my favourite ever gaming experience
Patinho I almost had a heart attack. I thought you meant "eh at best". Boy was I ready to judge you lol, I apologize. Every time I hear the theme, I get in tears in my eyes and like you said, I get ready for a game laced with beautifully laced emotional content and epicness. I just love every single one of my companions and this game really does bring the Dark Fantasy genre glory to its name.
+Patinho lol that's very sweet of you :) But I will have to politely decline. I don't do online or long distance dating, esp. with someone (who is very nice, regardless) I don't know. But I hope that you will find someone!
So many great memories with this game. Love the characters, love the music, love the feeling it gave me while working on the missions. Now I am 28 and get the feeling that I would love to get back to the times when I started playing this game. It was just an amazing experience.
Not just my #1 favorite game of all time, but the game that changed my view and life of gaming. I can't describe how incredible this game is,all I can say is this game(along with The Sims 2) requires the best of you in order to bring out the best of the game, which you really don't see that kind of bound/connection in gaming world...except all other BioWare games,LOVE them!
Other than often having a more emotional story than an action game / strategy game I don't really agree. :o ruclips.net/video/z9utXoWkE-w/видео.html ruclips.net/video/pZ1E47M88p8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/SzmUde_EK5Y/видео.html ruclips.net/video/5e0Qelqp-Cc/видео.html
I was reading through all the comments and it made me forget that this is about the music .... LOL. As a first generation player of the original Dungeons & Dragons (Yes younglings, I had the dice, the lead figurines, the DM's guide and Players' Handbook .... etc), I find I love the DA franchise. Don't whine about extractions from BG since both BG and DA are based directly from D&D. I'm in no way upset that these great games were given life by such a great as Gary Gygax. When I was in high school, we didn't have the option to see our characters on screen and only had our imaginations to create what our characters looked like. Nor did we have epic music to go with our games. That is, unless we put in a cassette or put on an album to enhance game play .... LOL. Not that much music in the 80's enhanced gameplay, except maybe for Star Wars and Star Trek music .... LOL
Hi! Und ich dachte schon ich muss bis zum Ende der Kommentare gehen. Um was Deutsches in Schrift zusehn. Und ja, er ist sehr schön, und war noch nicht auf meinem Schirm. Und wir schreiben das Jahr den 20.03.2021!
This is what makes Origins different from all the others dragon age games... What makes me remember every single battle, every significant moment in the storyline, every crucial fight against a boss, that makes me dive deep in nostalgia and that leaves me almost in tears. The awesome soundtrack.
the best parts of DAO wasnt there though. In DAO there were lots of things that affected the storyline. And companions had characters actually, unlike in DA2. In DA2 it was so boring at some point, I just kept playing to see how the ending goes. And it turned out to be a ME3 kind of ending. Same thing whatever you do. Only a few minor details change in DA2 storyline. I'm not even mentioning crappy DLC policy of bioware...
Watwut Qwerty Dao was better than Da2 i wont argue to that, because i would be crazy if i said that. But it wasnt that bad. I liked the faster action and response of my player (i didnt use the tactical mode on Dao so i dint miss that feature, but i am glad that it's bad in DaI as it will be needed). The biggest problem was the maps and the overused places. The actions of your players didnt have such a big impact in the main storyline because they wanted it so. Dont forget somewhere the creators said that Da2 was the bridge between Dao and the DaI. It was the sole purpose of Da2 to create this tremendous conflict/war between mages- templars. If you think and in Dao the endings are different i will have to disagree. They were somehow similar (i have played the game more than 20 times with all possible actions, players, companions, etc and i cant say that the world changes so much, but yes i had more choices)
DA2's story was horrible. Absolutely horrible. It's got at least one major flaw in it's arc compared to how it was pitched, then there is the problem with the linear ideological characters which lacked any sort of depth compared to DA:O. Finally, there was the gay agenda. The fact that just about every character in Bioware games seems to be bisexual is so far from reality it's hard not to think there is an "agenda" here. One of my favorite characters was Zevran btw who really seemed like a unique character at the time. Now there is no such thing... they're all bi. If one or maybe two characters had bi or gay terms, fine. But why the majority of the romance options? Completely unrealistic but there to suit the needs of a minority and the perverted who are obsessed with their sex depravity. Unfortunately, the writing suffers as well to support every character being bi.
Watwut Qwerty actually the ending of DA2 was worse that the ME3 one because DA2 literally has ONE ending, where as ME3 has "you can kill EDI and the reapers, you can control the reapers, OR you can make everyone get along."
Having a different protagonist for each game is cool, I have no problem with that. But I could definitely see more games with The Warden or Hawke's story continuing. More so Hawke's as his story just hasn't been wrapped up yet.
@@7h698 i hated it. dao is the best, i liked da2 too , but less. inquisition felt like a joke. played in on release tho without a treespaser, so maybe it different now, idk
The PC version of DA1 is significantly harder in terms of encounter design, which is designed to account for the fact that you have significantly more control over where people fight from, which makes the game much easier. Its supposed to balance out, whether it does probably depends how much you micro in pause mode.
The first time I played DA:O was a year after it came out, I was 10 when I started my first human warrior Thanks to this game I started to learn to speak and write in english (I'm italian), and by imagining myself in the middle of the battle or in the camp resting I started to develop my love for world building that eventually brought me to study theatre and design, I started fighting with swords, from wooden to now steel. May sound silly, but saying that this game was life changing is an understatement and hearing "I am the one" will always bring an affectionate tear for this piece of art ❤❤ PS Kudos for the mage class, super funny and super satisfying Plus the feeling of leaving an impact on Ferelden with every important decision, and the relationships with your companions, all of this maxed out by the feeling of a closure of epic proporions in the FINAL BATTLE, the climax of the story that actually feels important and dangerous for the world, where everything you did, every friend you made along the way, will come together to fight the last stand. TOGETHER unlike poor sad Corypheus in DA:I :I
Listening to the elven version of I Am the One makes me realize that it's not the bard or the narrator or even the protagonist of the game that is the speaker in the song. It's fucking Fen'Harel! (Alias use for spoilers.) They are the only one who can recount what has been lost because they are basically the only one left who knows what really happened and what was actually lost, instead of what everyone THINKS was lost. Not to mention the world-ending parts...
I advise Mass Effect players to play this game on Easy since its brutality is far worse in fights than ME ever has. And Easy is still one of the more annoying difficulties often seen in ME as Hard.
I spent great time with DAO, one of best games i've played. But I coudnt stand DA2. Not sure if did I play more than 5 hours. For me it was totally different game, just same title. Hope DA3 will be good;/
At first I feel the part at fade is a little bit tedious, but later on I found it is actually very easy to pass, as long as you transform into the right form. What's more, fade is a good place for the main character to increase their ability. You can gain a lot of points(total should be 21) in fade.

+Fantasy Explorer Wow, Challenge An Arch Demon is one of the best "noisy" soundtrack. I really don't like this type of OST for 99% of the time but this is amazing. THAT'S what I call epic. No wonder why the Archdemon part was so good. The Common Dwarf is also pretty good.
Dragon age origins was an amazing adventure when i was a little kid the world was so unique compared to other games that were out at the time just wish it had a combat system similar to Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM tho :/
Honestly, I think there will never be a game I love as much as Dragon Age Origins. There are many other brilliant games out there, but none of them manages to captivate me as much as Origins did and still does. This game just feels so personal, like home 💕
+Prince Abassi may I ask why dragon age 2 and inquisition aren't good? I started to play dragon age origins and I was thinking to buy 2 and inquisition until I heard 2 and inquisition are horrible.
Gamble Animations They basically converted the ip to a tactical rpg to an action rpg in disguise. The characters in those two games are also shit. They're essentially cardboard cutouts. The stories were also poorly written and unoriginal. Trust me, Origins was an incredible game with hundreds of hours worth of content. The other two were shit.
***** One of the main points that they had back when origins came out with was {and I quote from the lead dev} "Its not just fantasy, its dark fantasy". He said this in an interview while talking about what the races were like. Also se the dragon age wiki, It is a dark fantasy.
This game made me genuinely laugh out loud on many occasions. And I swear, that one time when I decided to go after Connor without taking out the demon in the Fade, then backed out at the last minute when Isolde begged me not to kill her baby...only for her to realize her son is already lost...and makes the choice to kill him.......wow. I did not see that one coming at all.
@@afinoxi Alistair: "What would you do if your mother died?" Morrigan: "Before or after I stopped laughing?" They had epic dialogue, but by far my favourite dialogue was between the Warden and Sten when you managed to get him to open up. For instance: Warden: Do you always have to be so literal? Sten: It's a choice, not a necessity. Warden: You're impossible! Sten: I know.
@@Darkdaej lmao. I personally love the one between Sten and Leliana : Leliana: I saw what you were doing back there. Sten: Oh? Leliana: Don't play innocent with me. Sten: What are you talking about?Leliana :You. Playing with that kitten. Sten: ...There was no kitten. Leliana :Sten, I saw you. You dangling a piece of twine for it. Sten : I was helping it train. Leliana : You're a big softie! Sten :We will never speak of this again. Leliana : Softie! And the one between Oghren and Allistair if you're in a relationship with Allistair : Oghren : So. With the boss, aye?Alistair : Pardon? Alistair : You and the boss. Rolling your oats. Alistair : I don't know-- Oghren : Polishing the footstones. Allistair : --what you're-- Oghren : Tapping the midnight still, if you will. Alistair :What are you going on about? Oghren : Forging the moaning statue. Bucking the forbidden horse. Donning the velvet hat. Alistair : Are you just making these up right now.? Oghren : Nope. Been saving 'em.
Dragon Age: Origins have something what Inquisition has not, it's something in the soundtrack, characters, storyline, and this make that Origin will always be the best part of DA for me :)
It's a game that was made by people with a story to tell. Just like the original Mass Effect. You can see the devs had a lot of fun making this game and they put their love in their work.
Inquisition lost the tragedy of Origins, and the believability and authenticity of it's characters, and the grit and cruelty of it's setting. It turned a dark tragedy with furious sparks of hope and humanity into the MCU, and it makes me sad.
@DevilTrigger The problem lies in open world games being open world for the sake of it, and the map is the size of an ocean with the depth of a puddle. This actually detracts the overall experience of the game. There are one too many open world games these days that have unecessarily large maps filled to the brim with pointless fetch quests that serve no meaningful purpose, acting only as filler. I'll take a linear and/or tight-knit world over an open world if it meant I'd get a quality > quantity experience. The two aren't mutually exclusive, no, but it is difficult for developers to be consistent on both sides.
@@CelestialDraconis Well said. It also becomes too fragmented and loses focus. Even if the story is great, doing too many side quests and exploring in-between loses the tension the story builds up, it becomes too slow and fragmented.
I personally never liked the limited world of DAO, or repetitiveness of DA2 or the absolute huge world without much to do in DAI. Literally none of them are great. If they DA4 does something like Skyrim, Witcher, etc it would be grand
God this game is such a masterpice, I can't picture any game topping this one, just listening to the music makes me think about all the epic quests, battles and storylines. Simply incredible
I would agree with you but the Dragon Age 2 maps come to mind when i want to agree with you. So I love many aspects of the trilogy but not parts of Dragon age 2.
I remember when I was little, when Fable, Dragon Age: Origins, Halo, the first Assassin's Creed and the Elder Scrolls' Morrowind and Oblivion were the games I used to play. The nostalgia whenever I hear any of those soundtracks is real. :'D (But let's be honest, Dragon Age is the best out of all those games. Hell, I still play it now.)
Dragon Age : Origins sure not this MMO semi-RPG inquisition is, i don't get why people praise it, actually i do games last year (2014) were total and absolute shit, an average game seems like a best game ever made in comparison, story is awesome, but gameplay is not my style , Bioware always finds a way to destroy any epic experience i might have had.
***** Why do you say it's MMO "semi" RPG? It's a good game, good companions, nice story, interesting combat. It might not be the greatest game ever, but it's a damn good game.
Hey, I saw your comment on Fable's OST as well! :D But I agree; Dragon Age: Origins is the best of the bunch: I played this game so much when I was, like, nine. The memories are real.
"Wow I'd forgotten how good this soundtrack was! I". Yes; this...and then Skyrim's and Morrowind's soundtracks - for me, the three best game soundtracks ever made.
@Benny Fair fax The combat is fine in Inquisition. It's more fast paced. Origins was more of a tribute to CRPG's. But Dragon Age isn't a CRPG. It never was.
@Benny Fair fax Remaster refers to an overhaul of the game's graphical fidelity, a _remake_ is what would ruin the gameplay - I agree with your comment though
The only thing that needs to be remade in the game is some of the melee attack speeds, two-handers are so dreadfully slow. The hit boxes could be better too sometimes.
One of my favorite features, that many people forget sometimes, is the Camp. In the other 2 games you and your companions are so much spread out, but in Origins you are all at one place, on the same level.
What a fantastic game this was, I'm honestly sad that they couldn't follow it up in the slightest with the following games. This game I finished around 8 times, and I had fun playing it a ton from 2009 to 2012. For 3 solid years I loved this game to death, the replay value was so good that it put Mass Effect to shame. It was just so good, so many of biowares releases afterwards was a complete destruction from what initally made their games so incredibly different from other games. That you choices had a bloody impact on the game. This game, I don't have words for it, they took some of the best parts of baldurs gate 2 and just made them even better, the impact of the romances, the way you could twist and turn absolutly. Let it be known that Origin was something they put 7 solid YEARS into starting in 2002. The reason Alistair and Morrigan were such amazing characters was because they spent YEARS developing them. That's why the following games were so incredibly bad, because they rushed through each game in less than two years, with DA2 announced in 2010 and released in 2011. I remmeber me and some friends being EXTREMLY sceptic towards it. Just looking at the difference between the look of the Ogre in DAO and DA2 was enough to prepare us for the cash in that was eventually coming out. the main reason i suppose for the sequels failure was that the team behind origins did not expect the game to become successful, and had never planned for sequels. Ironically since the name of it was "origins". But because it became a huge succes and incredibly high demands (quality games you know) the gears started running, and EA grinded their fangs deep inside the developers neck.
The first game is not only an adventure, it's an interactive story that leaves you pondering your choices, and reflecting upon them until the very end, where the chain of events leaves you with the desired result. I love games where your choices actually impact the world. I had joined with the Lady of the Forest, and led the cursed armies.
There are many great game OSTs, but this is my favorite hands down. Every minute, every song... a wave of nostalgia. It doesn't stop for the entire one hour. No matter what people may now think of BioWare, I will never forget that it is they that made this game. Can't ever change that fact. Thank you BioWare, you're the best.
I never understood well what happened with EA and why they "took control" of Bioware's saga like DA. Especially after all the mourning for the changes and loss of quality. Someone explain me.
I see some people here saying that DAO was so much better than the other DA games, but they can't pin point the feeling, let me help. The protagonist, the warden,he doesn't have a voice, you project your own character and voice onto him,he is you!,other games had characters as protagonists,in DAO,it was you! that's why all of it felt so much more personal, the freindships, alistair's stupidity, morrigan's bitchiness, wynne's care, their bickering, you felt so invested in that story. You have different views of the world depending on your origins, become a city elf and you see the oppression first hand, become a dwarf and you see an empire falling apart.DAO might be the first, but it was the most personal, and IMO the best music score.
You nailed it! We,each, entered this world personally and we each became the Warden. It was wonderful and still influences my opinion of all the following games.
Best characters Best storyline Best combat Best OST Best classes Best dialogue tree Choices mattered more Greatest Dragon Age game, sadly it will never be this good again as 99% of the people who worked on Origin are no longer at Bioware.
There are many crpgs better in characters, storyline, rpg-mechanics and combat. What dragon age origins is exceptional at is being still good in all of these combined with cinematic story-telling. This is the key to its success. It translated the crpg genre from text boxes to a more aesthetic presentation. Later entries diverged from crpg elements, but also no other developer tried what origins did again until only very recently. In 2014 there was a revival of the crpg genre with many exceptional titles such as Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder, Divinity or Disco Elysium, but all were niche due to presentation. Now however with Baldurs Gate 3 we might have an RPG that combines the most core rpg-mechanics with a modern presentation.
I agree with almost all of that and I love origins. One of my favorite games and certainly my favorite Dragon Age. But I can't agree with best combat. It was the ONE thing I didn't like about it. Not enough to diminish the game though.
Clara Walfaire I love this game too...I played again only the final battle(from battle of Redcliffe). This game is one of the best games...with each final fantasy or with Drakensang(1 and 2) or with Two worlds(1 and 2). But i don't like dragon age 2, i think Bioware could do much more!
Seriously. Orzammar's theme should be the national anthem of a country. You almost can feel the still ever-fading pride of the long lost dwarf kingdoms. Such melancholy.
No fantasy game I ever play for the rest of my life will ever top this sound track. I remember being skeptical of the game because I was more into top down or birds eye view type stuff. Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate. It couldn't have taken more than just a few hours to fall in love with Origins. It's a shame they changed the "feel and vibe" in the other 2 installments. Felt like a totally different universe, if I'm being honest.
I was in the same boat you were in. I actually skipped playing Origins for years because I played BG and NWN way back and thought DA wouldn't compare. Finally got around to playing it and I was really impressed. Definitely captures some of that old magic. One of my favorite moments in the game was when it said "You must gather your party before venturing forth." Lost my shit when I saw that in Origins the first time.
Origins holds a very special place in my heart. Apart from all the amazing things it has, there's just this eary - almost warm and nostalgic feeling to it, despite the fact that i experienced it just a few years back for the first time and wasn't there in 2009 for launch... Aged like fine wine and still remains as one of the greatest video games ever made!
That would be good in case someone clicks on the video hoping to get the name of a song or two. The times at which each song appears would also be good, so you can actively select the song you want to listen to, for whatever reason.
Here my take on the DA series: DA Origins: It made you feel like your actions really do have consequences and you had to plan out everything. The tactical aspect of the game was amazing, taking few minutes to decide how you will go on with the fight. Character development was one of the best ive seen. I would plan out a story before starting the game for example on my 6th playthrough i was a night elf; the daughter of one of the guerrilla night elves in loghains army during the fereldan rebeliion. So my actions revolved around things that would help me win against the arch demon (helping templars, helping elves, making behran the king since he was more military minded and getting those awesome dwarves). Several heart wrenching moments in the game (battle of ostagar, Return to ostagar DLC, the last battle damn!) Overall amazing game DA 2: Okay this game was awesome in the start like the fighting style and all but seriously the repetitions got worse and worse (there was a time where i felt like quitting the game) the companions were okaish but i felt like they could have make their characters more rich in story. Overall okaish game but i couldnt play it the second time. DA Inq: They really out did themselves with this one. Vast open world, hundreds of side missions and great character development. The dragon fights were challenging (in nightmare mode ofcourse). However the character development wasnt upto the mark, hair choices were awful, voices did not match the character (my qunari sounded like a weak as human). Also i still dont know why i did all the things i did to improve my inq army when in the end it didnt matter at all. My castle was sexy as hell but it played no real role. The vast world was great and all but too many side quests that werent that interesting. The tactical aspect of the game was horrible!, i just went in and started attacking without any strategy and still won. Hopefully they plan out DA 4 really well combining the tactical and character development from Origin and battle and world aspect from inq
I don't agree that DA2 was okaish, it was total soulless lazy piece of crap. Wandering around a town, "gathering kittens from tries for grannies". It's like microscopic scale of problems. Empty soulless town. That was total disaster, I couldn't believe my eyes what they did to DA2 after DAO. Like always they had changed the crew for some lazy students to save money, I bet
@@Querens no, the crew was more or less the same, the problem was time. DA2 was initially planned as an expansion to DAO, EA decided that would be a stand alone game and they had to build the game from scratch in just a year
I got this game for Christmas in 2009. Sometime between Christmas and New Year I remember sitting in the living room with my parents after dinner, feeling actual honest-to-god butterflies in my stomach at the thought of going back up to my room and playing the game, because I already had a full on real life CRUSH on Alistair 😅🤦♀
dai music was alright the problem is that it only plays in cutsenes or some special missions, while in dao almost every place has differend battle/exploration music.
Those were the days when the century was young and the RPG genre was full of hope. Those were the days of The Witcher (I), Fallout 3 and Dragon Age: Origins. Those were the days of legend.
I miss playing the game so I started to play again and I forgot how beautiful and wonderful the music is but it also made me cry cause its so lovely and wonderful but sad, very sad at the same time.
i cannot play this game again because no matter how many times i swear i will ~explore~ the different races-classes-endings i always end up making the same old choices
Yeah I always end up the same way too.
Seriously?
Yeah. I just can't be mean to Wynne (she's like my grandma
I killed Zevran, sided with Zathrian, and became a blood mage D:
fuck it i'm restarting.
lmfao
I just finished it again for like the 7th time, first playthrough as a elve mage, nailed it on nightmare.
Its almost 2018 I just heard this breath-taking music and now I am restarting too.
Sekipable ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) fuck i wanna play again
10 years ago I became a grey warden and slayed the arch demon. I fell in love with the witch of the wilds and my best friend became king. I united the magi, dwemer and the elvish. I entered the fade and bought the remote to a golem. Nothing in my life has ever made me feel so important to a story than this and just at the tender age of 6 I had literally become legend (I named my character after me) in just a few weeks. I became the hero of feralden. WE are the hero’s of feralden. Cheers for being the best experience I’ve ever had DA. Maker watch over your spirit.
6? What did you think of the sex scenes?
Played it round about at the same age and i still love it every time i think back at it. But it's a little bitte slow nowadays.. anyway I LOVE IT.
@@mohammadqasimawais9155 well my characters didnt wear armor cause it was funny seeing them run around in their undies so i thought the scenes were like that cause of that
Dwemer? Different game dude.😁
@@kanej8706 that's so amusing! 😆
In a good way, I mean 😊
If anyone was wondering the lyrics for "I Am the One" (2:45 and 56:02) they are:
Elvish *English*

Dragon Age Inquisition released a translated version of the song. Here, check it out: /watch?v=__hStdzoYVk
I think it's DALISH! The elven kind of the game. ^^
Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition simply lack the sort of magic feel Origins had, it's hard to describe. Sort of like how Dark Souls 2 feels inferior to demon's souls or dark souls. This was BW in their prime imo
+Para Norm I think that DA2 has that feeling as well.
Drizzt Do Urden Mhm yeah, but not as much as the first game in my opinion :p. it's totally absent in DAI though :/.
tazeris indeed the music in da 3 wasn't memorable at all, safe for that one mission where your stronghold or whatever gets attacked by corypheus. I hope Andromeda will bring back that BW magic for I really doubt it lol
+Paradigm Shift Completely disagree I loved all of the soundtracks and found some of Inquisition's very memorable plus the tavern songs sounded great!

Best Dragon Age ever played... no doubt.
Pathfinder:WoR is beutiful crpg
Playing BG3 now and it is the first game to make me feel even close to the way I felt when first playing DAO. Lovely game with amazing characterization and depth, and the soundtrack to match.
This was the last good game I ever played.
the feel for DA:O was just eh best. every time the into music launched up - it just got me ready for a true tale and ballad of epicness
the themes for each area were imbued with emotional content-which matched the race and area represented.
WHAT A STORY - WHAT A GAME
my favourite ever gaming experience
Patinho I almost had a heart attack. I thought you meant "eh at best". Boy was I ready to judge you lol, I apologize. Every time I hear the theme, I get in tears in my eyes and like you said, I get ready for a game laced with beautifully laced emotional content and epicness. I just love every single one of my companions and this game really does bring the Dark Fantasy genre glory to its name.
+RabbitGirl do you want to date me? If you look anything like daenerys you can! Actually you taste in video games in music has prequalified you!
+RabbitGirl (typos on my iPhone....!)
+Patinho lol that's very sweet of you :) But I will have to politely decline. I don't do online or long distance dating, esp. with someone (who is very nice, regardless) I don't know. But I hope that you will find someone!
The only dragon age game out there - Bioware at its prime! Good times.
오래오래해도 안질리는 게임은 많이 해봤지만, 하고나서 조차도 오래오래 생각나는 게임은 이 게임 뿐이다.
Bioware 2006 vs Bioware 2017. Bioware 2006 spits on the latter.
this was ages ago.....now i am domesticated.
it was so fucking epic
Thank you so much for uploading this.
Bioware never ceases to amaze me in just how entrancing their games story lines are. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, the Old Republic, all amazing.
RPG's always have the best damned music.
Other than often having a more emotional story than an action game / strategy game I don't really agree. :o

LOL
echt genial der soundtrack ;)
Fuckin chills down my spine every time remembering all the good times with this game so many hours
DA2 story wasnt bad, the only thing that put me off was the lazy dungeon designs and reusing assets from Origins
the best parts of DAO wasnt there though.
Watwut Qwerty EA.
Watwut Qwerty actually the ending of DA2 was worse that the ME3 one because DA2 literally has ONE ending, where as ME3 has "you can kill EDI and the reapers, you can control the reapers, OR you can make everyone get along."
nothing beats OG dragon age it really did have the best fighting combat nothing beats moment
Having a different protagonist for each game is cool, I have no problem with that. But I could definitely see more games with The Warden or Hawke's story continuing. More so Hawke's as his story just hasn't been wrapped up yet.
Did you like inquisition
@@7h698 i hated it. dao is the best, i liked da2 too , but less. inquisition felt like a joke. played in on release tho without a treespaser, so maybe it different now, idk
By the way, did anybody else get both the Xbox and PC versions and find the latter to be significantly harder?
The PC version of DA1 is significantly harder in terms of encounter design, which is designed to account for the fact that you have significantly more control over where people fight from, which makes the game much easier. Its supposed to balance out, whether it does probably depends how much you micro in pause mode.
I won't be able to play this game for five entire days and this is the way how I still kinda get my fix.
The soundtrack from Dragon Age Origins was great, I hope Dragon Age 3 will be as good or even better!
the nostalgia...played this game when i was just a little kid and this game will always have a special place w me :')
And now I'm goint to replay it again because I listened to this...
инон зур лучший. такие мелодии и песни мог написать только ГЕНИЙ
The first time I played DA:O was a year after it came out, I was 10 when I started my first human warrior
Thanks to this game I started to learn to speak and write in english (I'm italian), and by imagining myself in the middle of the battle or in the camp resting I started to develop my love for world building that eventually brought me to study theatre and design, I started fighting with swords, from wooden to now steel.
May sound silly, but saying that this game was life changing is an understatement and hearing "I am the one" will always bring an affectionate tear for this piece of art ❤❤
PS
Kudos for the mage class, super funny and super satisfying
Plus the feeling of leaving an impact on Ferelden with every important decision, and the relationships with your companions, all of this maxed out by the feeling of a closure of epic proporions in the FINAL BATTLE, the climax of the story that actually feels important and dangerous for the world, where everything you did, every friend you made along the way, will come together to fight the last stand. TOGETHER
unlike poor sad Corypheus in DA:I :I
I may have played BG3, I still think DAO1 is my fav game ... the choices are absolutely thoughtful and heartbreaking...
Without any doubt this is the best dragon age soundtrack, matching with the best dragon age.
This gives me flashbacks of the hours I spent playing this game. I can't wait until #3 comes out
Now I need to play this game again... thanks a lot ;)
Hope DA3 will be good;/
so nostalgic.... this is my childhod..
This brings tears to my eyes c;
Honestly, I love both dao and da2. Ya, there may be big differences, but I love both.
This is not a game for me this is the LEGEND
This Main theme is fucking beautiful
At first I feel the part at fade is a little bit tedious, but later on I found it is actually very easy to pass, as long as you transform into the right form. What's more, fade is a good place for the main character to increase their ability. You can gain a lot of points(total should be 21) in fade.
Best RPG I ever played. Period.

DAO is better than The witcher :P
Saaame!
I swear I played origins like 25 hours a day ;D
And I still love it. Origins was one of the best things that could happen ^^
Emily Ak true
I saydo a remake of it onto current gen! I would buy it!
Emily Ak And then 2 and inquisition came and ruined the ip.

Best game ever. Once you play, you are hooked..

One of the main points that they had back when origins came out with was {and I quote from the lead dev} "Its not just fantasy, its dark fantasy".
He said this in an interview while talking about what the races were like.
Also se the dragon age wiki, It is a dark fantasy.
I love Baldurs Gate, i like dragons, i like fantasy.....I love you
If you love Dark fantasty, you must play in Witcher.
Most games give you one or two tingles down your spine from the sheer awesomeness of certain moments.
Dragon Age does that every 10 minutes.

@@afinoxi
Alistair: "What would you do if your mother died?"
Morrigan: "Before or after I stopped laughing?"
They had epic dialogue, but by far my favourite dialogue was between the Warden and Sten when you managed to get him to open up.
For instance:
Warden: Do you always have to be so literal?
Sten: It's a choice, not a necessity.
Warden: You're impossible!
Sten: I know.
@@Darkdaej lmao. I personally love the one between Sten and Leliana :
Leliana: I saw what you were doing back there.
And the one between Oghren and Allistair if you're in a relationship with Allistair :
Oghren : So. With the boss, aye?Alistair : Pardon?
Alistair : You and the boss. Rolling your oats.
Alistair : I don't know--
Oghren : Polishing the footstones.
Allistair : --what you're--
Oghren : Tapping the midnight still, if you will.
Alistair :What are you going on about?
Oghren : Forging the moaning statue. Bucking the forbidden horse. Donning the velvet hat.
Alistair : Are you just making these up right now.?
Oghren : Nope. Been saving 'em.
Best game of the last 15 years

seriously! I Miss the glory of this game, and it pains to know how poorly executed the sequels were
IT WAS SUCH A DIFFERENT more mysterious and mystical universe too, Now it feels so dumbed down.
YEAH I'M CRYING TOO DUDE
Moira Kadhan feels so distant and eerie now!
Shit man... the feels. This game is so incredible..
Dragon Age: Origins have something what Inquisition has not, it's something in the soundtrack, characters, storyline, and this make that Origin will always be the best part of DA for me :)
It has a soul
It's a game that was made by people with a story to tell. Just like the original Mass Effect.
You can see the devs had a lot of fun making this game and they put their love in their work.
@@remove_marko Yes. Inquisition sold his from the beginning.
Inquisition lost the tragedy of Origins, and the believability and authenticity of it's characters, and the grit and cruelty of it's setting. It turned a dark tragedy with furious sparks of hope and humanity into the MCU, and it makes me sad.
Inquisition is just a dissapointment for DA even DA 2 had a better story telling, characters....
Everyone who still thinks a open world is needed for a good game should play this one.
Celestial Draconis *cough cough inquisiton cough*
@@CelestialDraconis Well said. It also becomes too fragmented and loses focus. Even if the story is great, doing too many side quests and exploring in-between loses the tension the story builds up, it becomes too slow and fragmented.
I personally never liked the limited world of DAO, or repetitiveness of DA2 or the absolute huge world without much to do in DAI. Literally none of them are great. If they DA4 does something like Skyrim, Witcher, etc it would be grand
actually i dont like open world cuz of same side-quest.
Hello there everyone who came here after the new trailer
God this game is such a masterpice, I can't picture any game topping this one, just listening to the music makes me think about all the epic quests, battles and storylines. Simply incredible

loved this game, played the second and im on inquisition now. I just love every aspect of this triology
I would agree with you but the Dragon Age 2 maps come to mind when i want to agree with you. So I love many aspects of the trilogy but not parts of Dragon age 2.
you bought inquisition or downloaded ?
Corrupted Archangel origins way better than DA2
blaaaww1 I think Origins is better than DA2 and DAI i loved Dragon Age Origins and its DLC too.

I remember when I was little, when Fable, Dragon Age: Origins, Halo, the first Assassin's Creed and the Elder Scrolls' Morrowind and Oblivion were the games I used to play.
The nostalgia whenever I hear any of those soundtracks is real. :'D
(But let's be honest, Dragon Age is the best out of all those games.

Yeah, DAO is the first game that I've spent more than 60+ in-game hours playing it.
Hey, I saw your comment on Fable's OST as well! :D
But I agree; Dragon Age: Origins is the best of the bunch:
I played this game so much when I was, like, nine. The memories are real.
Wow I'd forgotten how good this soundtrack was! I gotta play this game again!
Spent the last the week (ok more like 3 days) re playing DAO.
TheDymed With the new game coming out soon I'm going back and playing everything from Dragon Age.
Well, after all these years, it's time to play it one more time!
"Wow I'd forgotten how good this soundtrack was! I".
Yes; this...and then Skyrim's and Morrowind's soundtracks - for me, the three best game soundtracks ever made.
I'd love to see a remaster of this game. A remake would only break what is perfect.
Just give me an actual patch for Awakening and we're good.
The only thing that needs to be remade in the game is some of the melee attack speeds, two-handers are so dreadfully slow. The hit boxes could be better too sometimes.
@@codyriddle1424 two-handlers attack speed is exceedingly increased with magic buffs.
One of my favorite features, that many people forget sometimes, is the Camp. In the other 2 games you and your companions are so much spread out, but in Origins you are all at one place, on the same level.
Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls and Witcher... Three greatest fantasy RPGs
And Dark Souls, can't forget Dark Souls
Lewis Twiby Dark souls is really more of an action game than a RPG in my opinion.
True. When you think of it Dark Souls does fit more into action.
Diablo 2 anybody?
Is Diablo 2 any good? I've never played it.
I like the characters and story in the sequels. I like the games, awesome RPGs. Origins is by far the best though.

The first game is not only an adventure, it's an interactive story that leaves you pondering your choices, and reflecting upon them until the very end, where the chain of events leaves you with the desired result.
I love games where your choices actually impact the world.
I had joined with the Lady of the Forest, and led the cursed armies.
Exactly. It's rare these days that our choices leave such an impact on the development of the story in a game
There are many great game OSTs, but this is my favorite hands down. Every minute, every song... a wave of nostalgia. It doesn't stop for the entire one hour. No matter what people may now think of BioWare, I will never forget that it is they that made this game. Can't ever change that fact. Thank you BioWare, you're the best.
bioware changed the world of gaming in their prime.
I never understood well what happened with EA and why they "took control" of Bioware's saga like DA. Especially after all the mourning for the changes and loss of quality. Someone explain me.
really cool but Rome: Total War is still my favourite
"You WERE the best"
Fixed it for you.
Man that explanation gave me goosebumps.
put some damn spaces after your commas
Or maybe that the combat was better, better customization, better story, and less linear?
Shit man, you're so right! My all-time favorites are DA:O and Skyrim, and now I know why.
Best characters
Best storyline
Best combat
Best OST
Best classes
Best dialogue tree
Choices mattered more
Greatest Dragon Age game, sadly it will never be this good again as
99% of the people who worked on Origin are no longer at Bioware.
And hard choices
EA came in and sucked the soul out of bioware they will never again produce games such as origins or KOTOR
I like the idea of many of the combat stuff you could do. But dang I found combat to be such a chore and was only here for the story
EA couldn't go forth without utterly destroying the souls of this franchise...
I started play this game again, because i love it so much! and i love this soundtrack... this game is the best of best for me :)
This game is a Mind Blast :D
Spring Squall hahahah agreed :D
Clara Walfaire I love this game too...I played again only the final battle(from battle of Redcliffe). This game is one of the best games...with each final fantasy or with Drakensang(1 and 2) or with Two worlds(1 and 2). But i don't like dragon age 2, i think Bioware could do much more!
I came here to remember what this game was, used to be... its just sad what they did with DAO 4
You're kidding, right? It hasn't even released yet... give it a chance at least!
Mr Matty just did a review on it, and it looks pretty amazing tbh
Best game ever
Agreed, that's just EA being EA. They ruined Mass Effects vibe with Andromeda, ruined Dead Spaces' vibe and many others. Damn them!
The game is the best Lord of the Rings type RPG i've ever played. And I've been playing em for over 30 years kiddos.
Agreed. Same with mass effect, after 2, they sucked
You might have played not that many games
Origins holds a very special place in my heart. Apart from all the amazing things it has, there's just this eary - almost warm and nostalgic feeling to it, despite the fact that i experienced it just a few years back for the first time and wasn't there in 2009 for launch...
Aged like fine wine and still remains as one of the greatest video games ever made!
You know what would be awesome? If the people who upload the full soundtracks put the names of the songs in the description.
That would be good in case someone clicks on the video hoping to get the name of a song or two. The times at which each song appears would also be good, so you can actively select the song you want to listen to, for whatever reason.
***** ni chuj
***** Origins to nawet lepszy niż Gothic.
+Abuyin ibn Djadir Can you give me a prophecy?
+Abuyin ibn Djadir Yes,please!
Here my take on the DA series:
DA Origins: It made you feel like your actions really do have consequences and you had to plan out everything. Several heart wrenching moments in the game (battle of ostagar, Return to ostagar DLC, the last battle damn!) Overall amazing game
DA 2: Okay this game was awesome in the start like the fighting style and all but seriously the repetitions got worse and worse (there was a time where i felt like quitting the game) the companions were okaish but i felt like they could have make their characters more rich in story.
DA2 was initially planned as an expansion to DAO, EA decided that would be a stand alone game and they had to build the game from scratch in just a year
@@beniaminorocchi "we will make you cry"(C) old EA moto
im replaying this again after inq and 2, and it is without a doubt the best of the trilogie.. epic
funny how the most replayed part is prob people restarting the video lol
I got this game for Christmas in 2009. Sometime between Christmas and New Year I remember sitting in the living room with my parents after dinner, feeling actual honest-to-god butterflies in my stomach at the thought of going back up to my room and playing the game, because I already had a full on real life CRUSH on Alistair 😅🤦♀
Same. Fictional video game men have really set the bar too high xD
We cannot appreciate Inon Zur enough. What a talented mastermind he is, fantastic music.
way better then inquisition !! beautiful sound track for a beautiful game
+geroy57 inquisition is fkin SHIT... thah aint dragon age ... fuck that!!
+geroy57 Wayyyy better. DA:I not even close. Still better than DA2,but soooo tedious.
I couldn't have put it better myself. Perfect description.
dai music was alright the problem is that it only plays in cutsenes or some special missions, while in dao almost every place has differend battle/exploration music.
Best game ever
Beautiful music, brilliant game. One of the best I've ever played.
Inon Zur (Origins and DA2) > Trevor Morris (Inquisitions). Finished Inquisitions last night and I have to say that all in all I was disappointed.
Inquisition doesn't feel like a DA game at all, it doesn't have a soul
Those were the days when the century was young and the RPG genre was full of hope. Those were the days of The Witcher (I), Fallout 3 and Dragon Age: Origins. Those were the days of legend.
I'd add Baldur's Gate and Morrowind
No appreciation for Fable TLC and Fable 2?
Man you almost made me cry
Господи, на эту музыку как у собаки Павлова - рефлекс уже) Значит впереди ждёт 3-4-5 часов классно потраченного времени.
I miss playing the game so I started to play again and I forgot how beautiful and wonderful the music is but it also made me cry cause its so lovely and wonderful but sad, very sad at the same time.
This game is very epic...I'm starting a fresh game tonight. :)
Fun!!!
