Definitely the hardest pieces of music I've ever had to work with while trying to make it all sound seemless. It took me four or five attempts over a couple months to finally get it uploaded and put on public for everyone to view. I hope I did a good enough job on it. Have a great weekend everyone!
“That’s what I’m here for! To deliver unpleasant news and witty one liners” - Alistair Man I miss this game. Once I’ve accomplished everything I’ve set out to do in real life, I will once again play this game that I hold so dearly to my heart. Got me through a lot of tough times when I was 18-23. 26 now and on a road to enlightenment and self mastery. As much as I miss leveling up a character in DAO and escaping into that existence, I want to level up in real life and be in love with this existence, too. I urge everyone else who reads this, to do the same. I know this all sounds so cheesy but that’s okay. This game taught me that no matter what obstacles stand in your way, through creating friendships, alliances and never surrendering, you can accomplish ANYTHING. For Fereldan! For the Grey Wardens!
Honestly, that might be the most genuinely enlightened take on feeling nostalgic for DA:O I've read in the last 14 years. A lot of us want desperately to return, not just for reliving youthful memories but because this game made us feel part of a great Fellowship and an even greater story... Some of us are still on a slow path, oftentimes feeling lonely, and trying to make big life changes despite complicating factors. And the way you described the journey of the game, finding friendships, persevering through every challenge, never giving up as one should in real life; that's what a great game should do.
Thank you for making this. Miss the days of having nothing to worry about in life, playing this game and spending time in camp, just staring up at the sky. Staring up at the sky now gives me some of that feeling, if only for a moment. This theme really brings it all back though.
Listening to this theme brought a tear to my eye. I just entered Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 and I can wholeheartedly say I haven't felt a single game come closer to the feeling I got from Dragon Age: Origins. DA:O became such a huge facet of my childhood and nothing has compared to its brilliance up until now. Old School Bioware and the current underdogs at Larian, you've both given us gems of majesties that can never be compared save for rolling dice around the table playing D&D with my friends almost every weekend the past four years.
@@nooblord2416 I'm sorry man but i'm glad that you enjoyed and tasted the good and old DA: Origins but I guess it's about time that Bioware get the fuck out for good now. the people who work there still haven't understood what people want and above all WHAT their games are.
I never get tired of this music. Thank you. I’m glad I got into Dragon Age for the first time back in September 2022. It was 6 months ago and I can’t believe it. I’m already feeling nostalgic. It’s like me getting into Mass Effect back in 2018 all over again.
@Stoigniew666 I'm sorry but no. We all agree it's a great game, but it desperately needs polishing up. Doing so would reintroduce it to a whole new audience too
This is wonderful, thank you for uploading this. I spent countless hours playing this beautiful game and the music was only a single part that helped me fall in love with it.
When i started writing my current story, i had a very specific scene in mind with characters talking around the campfire and this theme was on my mind the entire time. When i finally got to this part of the story, it felt really good to put on this music and finally write it. The vibes of this music are... Unique
I've been racking my brain over DA2 for while. I own it but have never played it. Did watch someone play through it though years ago. Not sure if I should make videos for it, or if I should skip it for now and get back into Inquisition.
@@GamingAmbience Yeah, I know what you're talking about. The game itself is the weakest entry in the series and it was just not that good. I just loved the main theme with the female vocals, it was really atmospheric and somewhat melancholic. Anyway, thanks for your videos! I listen to your Deus Ex mixes almost daily.
idk man, Origins is the best for sure, but I would place DA2 above DAI. DA2 has a lot of very fun characters alongside an interesting friendship/rivalry mechanic and good story pacing. DAI is a boring clunky slog where most of the characters are unlikable cunts.

This little niche of nostalgia-lovers appreciates the effort, man
Thank you. We appreciate this.
❤
Thank you for putting in the effort! I'm looking at my old copy of the game for the 360 and feeling some serious nostalgia.
Why was it difficult? I’m curious

This song should have been the running theme for the entire series. Its beautiful and melancholic. No other DA track has come close to this one
God I miss hearing this theme got chills from this.
same here
This brings back memories from a distant past, one which shall never return but will never be forgotten.

Baldurs Gate 3 had many similarities to DA:O, its clear the game had a big influence on Larian
Confession: I would sometimes boot up the game just so i can play this on repeat seemelessly. Now i don't have to. Thank you ! Love your channel
Beautiful. Such powerful heart tugs and nostalgia
This is so perfect to chill out to at the end of the day - so nostalgic and soothing. I need to do another playthrough asap
i just played this game during covid times 2 years ago , it captured my heart easily now i'm waiting for DA 4

I never say this, but Origins BEGS for a remake.
It really does, mostly cause the original one is a buggy mess. Remaster at least!
Fuck remakes and remaster. It's good as it is.

that hits hard. the memories just start flodding back. all those talks in the camp, wow. Thank you! :)
I have just replayed this game, it's still really good
some party banter would make it even better :D
Thank you, brings back so many memories.
Remember when Bioware was good?
Long time ago

Thank you for this. This is the definitive camp theme I needed in my life
Was just playing Origins, your timing is great. Much appreciated for the time and effort, and glad people still come back to these games.
This is where we belong, nor kirkwall or skyhold, or lighthouse has a soul like this piece of forest

My favourite ambiance from my favourite game. Thank you so much for this! I know this is a very difficult track to record.
This music and the "Suicide Mission" music from Mass Effect 2 are very nostalgic for me.
This is the one I've been waiting for. So ethereal.
Mix this with the 3 hour party banter video from danaduchy. Pure origin bliss.
Thank you, brings up nice memories... Good job =)

The real and only one Dragon Age game.
Thank you man! Finally, a decent 1-hour ambient! Hopefully one day you could make extended version of the Main Theme from DA2 as well.
