I'm sorry, but 98% of this advice is nonsense. It's more of the woman hiding something and asking her questions can expose the lies she is keeping. You want to know her age to make sure you are dealing with an adult woman and not a minor. It's important to know if a woman is single in the Philippines because you don't want a jealous Filipino man coming after you and if she is married, you can be imprisoned for adultery.
Only reason you would ask her age is because you want to make sure she is at least 18. I have heard of foreigners getting arrested for being around girls underaged.
Someone should make a list to educate Filippinas on things not to ask foreigners e.g. the country I come from, the hotel I am staying at, my work or age etc. Basically, any question that hints at how much money I have to spend on her.
That isn't just the Philippines. If you travel around, it's an Asian thing. Asians are nosy. I was in Singapore. I got in a taxi and the taxi driver asked me how old I was.

Perhaps these are some things not to ask too early, but you do need to know if she is single, of legal age and whether she has children or not. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if you talk to a bunch of bar girls in Angeles, that this is what they say, and it makes sense.
