Rest in peace to everyone out there who's been begging for a Castle Malloy playthrough -- I promise it will happen.
Silent Spy is not my favorite game in the series, but I do at least have the privilege of playing it with my two favorite people! So, I'm excited to bring you this playthrough which I plan to consist of big, meaty episodes released on a weekly basis (I have been hard at work on the Painscreek Experiment!)

I don't know what's worse, the dialogue in this game or the dialogue in MED. It's like someone started to write a conversation, took a break then started to write a different conversation and then forgot to finish either and just left their drafts in the final game.
@@jcro7918 I really think I’d take MED over this, but I’m going to have to give it a good replay first.
@@vote4holtI’ve never finished MED because the dialogue is so bad. I even tried watching Gab Smolders’ recent playthrough of it and couldn’t get more than halfway through.
Also, yes -- the webcam has a weird glitching effect. I have since fixed this, and hope it is not too distracting!
SPY is weird and maybe I’m blinded by nostalgia and the Agents of SHIELD phase I was going through back when this game came out, but I’ve always loved it. I’ve never managed to make it through MED
As a music major, trust me when I say the music themed puzzles could be a lot worse. You did well, clef changes catch us all, lol!
I was raised on Spy Kids so this is an A tier game for me, even if it's goofy at times (Phantom of Venice is also a fave).
Mannnn Spy Kids scared the hell out of me, probably explains why I’m not so fond of it 🫨

That’s probably it honestly. Hot sauce took it out of me that last time
Ill still play SPY over MED any day of the week. It has a structure. MED feels like nothing matters. Ugh.
I think SPY is a better game than MED the first time you play either of them, but on subsequent playthroughs I genuinely think I prefer MED for its atmosphere, puzzles and music. Story just doesn’t mean as much on the second and third go-around
I think this may be my least favorite ensemble of suspects for any game. Zoey in particular is tied with Ryan Kilpatrick for my least favorite suspect of all time lol.

They’re very similar characters, except I think Ryan works because everyone working at the lab is neurotic and quirky in some way. Zoey has zero reason to be such a shitster and it really breaks the immersion for me that she’s some international spy
@@vote4holt I cannot STAND Ryan. I already find it annoying that Deadly Device takes the Big Bang Theory approach of "science people=haha quirky", and they make Ryan so qUiRkY, "not like the other girls", and sooo fkn TWEE it makes me want to switch the Tesla coil on and walk out into the sparks lol. Mason too. Speaking as a jaded mechanical engineer, Ellie is closest to what real life engineers are actually like. Tired, kinda stressed, overworked, but still trying to be pleasant bc it's not your fault lol.
i like silent spy i prefer it over med more to have mystery and suspects when there isnt much of tha tin shattered medallion
