I love how ghost along with his fan base, has pretty much pushed him to be the main character.

I personally love it. They integrated some of the mw2019 theme as well but changed it just enough to be unique.

Y’all must not know about the great Hans Zimmer
Fun fact: Sarah Schachner who composed wrote the music, also worked on original MW3 (2011) with Brian Tyler as an additional composer. She also worked on Far Cry 3, NFS: The Run with Brian Tyler.
Recently Sarah left the project as she stated that the working dynamic with the audio director has become increasingly challenging and she doesn't see any path forward. She also says it's unclear whether the soundtrack will be released or not. She adds “what will be released on the soundtrack is not my artistic intent in regards to mixing and mastering.”

Based off what I’ve heard, they might have a campaign dlc next year to help fill the gap year. It probably won’t be very long but’ll be a good start!

As a COD vet from the original trilogy that came out when I was 7 I gotta say this game felt more like a movie. We got classic 141 members and new guys in Alejandro and Rudy. And just the execution of this whole story was just phenomenal. Hats of to you IW to another good campaign, Sarah Schachner for stepping it up in the soundtrack which I’m sure will bring good future memories, and of course the devs and actors who put their blood sweat and tears into this game. Until MW3 releases…..

@Vice Nocturne you are correct there lad. The older COD’s showed the horrors of war mainly WAW hell even MW2019 had a message of us having to change the rules of engagement since it gets people killed and that we have to take the gloves off to fight on even ground with our enemies. MW2022’s message is a little vague however, I think it’s a similar message to the original with even our closest allies can betray us with a hint of the bonds that individual find in war best examples of this being Soap, Alejandro, Ghost, and Rudy. I know there are still some fans such as myself who still want games that Harmon back to the style of the original plot twists and all but only time will tell.
@@Rokiriko well I mean it just feels refreshing with this one mostly because having grown up with the 141 as a kid it’s cool having seen a new version of them. Also with the less than successful recent entry (I’m looking at you Vanguard) it feels good seeing characters I can actually root for.

It was when it switched to Ghost as you scope in to kill Hassan and save Soap
Loved that as well. It was the perfect soundtrack to accompany that moment

I don't understand how an og MW campaign fan could like this. Its so dissapointing. There was no soundtrack, not incomparison to the og. The og made you felt like you were gonna take on the frigging world bro.

I _love_ how Sarah used elements of both the Main Theme _and_ Piccadilly for this, two of the most iconic tracks in MW19's soundtrack.

Sarah Schachner did an amazing job with the score for this game. Definitely one of the standout aspects for me. She had massive shoes to fill with the likes of hans zimmer doing the original mw2 soundtrack but she filled them perfectly. Super unique sound fits the narrative perfectly.
Fun fact: Hans Zimmer ONLY did the opening cutscene theme from the original. The rest of the score was Lorne Balfe. Give the man the credit Activision doesn't.
One day, we will cry when we hear this soundtrack.
The choir parts remind me of the Far Cry 3 theme which is one of my favorite game themes ever, this one is up there too.

This campaign was too short, but still a masterclass for fun, engaging, immersive and incredibly exciting scenarios. This whole thing felt like and incredibly interactive movie, it was awesome!

Just coming back to say MWII is most likely gonna be the peak game in the CoD “reboot” era.
I don't care what some nostalgic douchebags will say, MW2 2022 theme is great. Sure, MW2 2009 is still legendary, but this one is a banger, too.
Coming back to this sound track after a year, i really hope they add it back into the game after season 6 ends. One of my favorite soundtracks in COD history.

for real NOTHING will ever beat hans zimmers masterpiece for 09 MW2 BUT sarah schachners composition is enough to make every hair stand up on your body and give you a brief nostalgia filled with a roller coaster of emotions which is perfectly portrayed here.
Just a heads up, Hans zimmer only composed the first cutscenes music in ‘09, the rest of the games music was composed by Lorne Balfe, who does the music for a lot of military movies and video games.

Best soundtrack of recent with the new series reboot! Absolutely loved hearing that theme kick in on the final mission when you scope in! Just finished my Veteran run and I give this year's campaign a solid 8/10.

I love how they have a similar theme to the last game in the lineup(mw19), but still made it unique enough to be its own thing. Same thing like sniper wlite has done

Bro playing the beta with this music in the main menu will always be a core memory for me. The beta was 5× better then the game is rn. Crazy how they took this epicness away from the main menu now. best fuckin mw music so far and ya cant even hear it in game anymore.
