At 1:56 the second large funnel appears out of nowhere and is fully formed in a few seconds- impressive!
Holy cow Max, some incredible stuff in here. Amazing work.
So these were all landspouts? That last one looked darn strong, but couldn't see any associated wall cloud.
were there tornado warnings associated with these? these are the strongest landspouts i've ever seen on video, and wondered if someone called them in and if they issued a warning.
Yes, I'm fairly certain they had warnings out for these. The same cluster also produced some supercellular tornadoes further north.
Incredible!!!
WOW........awesome! Great!
I did not think landspouts could have full condensation funnels
Michael Ellestad This may have been a hybrid of sorts, but essentially the pressure just has to get low enough in the funnel for parcels to condense. I think that can just happen if the vorticity being stretched by the updraft is powerful enough. Will have to look back at radar and examine
I noticed one of the twister was anticyclonic too
Yes they can, but it's pretty rare. Full condensation funnel landspouts are usually a result of cold air funnels touching the ground.
driveing a lowered car really makes this hard but if i ever drive into a tornado i wount be picked up because air cant get under the car 😂

And on Neptune wind speeds are 1,500 mph
Made up
just stay in the eye of the tornado and you wont get hurt
This year I can already tell is going to be fucked up for tornados
WOW!
Ok, sorry but have to ask. What makes a water spout different from a land spout? and why not just call these tornados?
Landspout is an outdated term from the 80s referring to a non supercell tornado. Even though a tornado is a tornado and enhanced Fujita is a bullshit scale.
And before anyone has a nerdrage... the old Fujita scale was based on damage. The so called "Enhanced Fujita" scale makes no sense. If a 2 mile wide, 300+ mph wedge goes over nothing but prairie and just eats grass, it's an EF0 according to the new scale. That's bullshit.
no cows flying lame tornado
