  • The Vermont Gravel Growler is a 250+ mile bikepacking loop linking two of Vermont’s best qualities: gravel roads and breweries.
    Follow along as Chris and Chris (and adventure pal Brett), capture their experience in a very adventure vlog style, just some GoPro and drone action, all while taking pictures along the way.

    FYI we rode a variation of the Vermont route 2 weeks ago. Awesome stuff, and not flat ;-)

    This was a fun watch. I'm buying my first bicycle in a couple weeks and moving to Burlington next week. I really want to get into this.

      That’s awesome to hear! VT gravel is some of the best in the world. Burlington is such a bike friendly place, too.

      Pretty typical Vermont Class 4 "road" :)

    Where did yall start, and where did you safely leave vehicles?

      We started from Montpellier which seems to work well. There’s a fairly busy park and ride just down the road that we parked at. We won’t claim it to look the most pleasant park and ride, but just don’t leave any valuables visible and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

    Also curious what gearing you had (front and back).

      @chrisandchris  Год назад

      Our bikes all have different gearings but Chris B & Brett both have standard 1x gearing set ups. Chris S has a 2x11 54T front and 34T back

    Did you post the route anywhere?

      @chrisandchris  8 месяцев назад

      We didn’t as this ended up being a bit modified from our original route. We’d recommend checking out Bikepacking.com and the VT Gravel Growler page to grab a full gpx route there.

      Thanks for reminding us. We put our route into the description of the video. It's a shortened version of the full Gravel Growler route which can be found on Bikepacking.com
