Jeez I just about cried when Suga started out. The lyrics were touching. These 3 guys killed this. Jin isn't my bias but I think he's worked the hardest because he wasn't a rapper/singer/dancer when he started out. Look how far he's come. Jungkook has so much talent. Suga is gifted at everything.
I love this song. It kinda reflects my position in life right now (minus the drinking). It is a comfort to me. Another song that Suga wrote that gives me comfort is Paradise. It is about taking a break from life to get your headspace right instead of running heedlessly. It also says that it is ok if you don't have a grand dream or plan. Just focus on the little things for now and try to be happy overall.

yes bts album did come out and they did get to perform some of there songs live. They performed black swan live and ON live before the covid 19 happened.

I've been having a weird obsession and connection to this song for the past two weeks and while watching this reaction I teared up listening to this song again. But When I read you comment especially "Suga helped you realize that finding happiness can be a dream." I am still struggling though figuring out what my dream is and what happiness means to me at 25 and how I can find my happiness." But reading your comment made me realize that, that's all I really want out of life is to be truly happy and everything else comes secondary to me.

The version of this song that is on yoongi’s mixtape has a slightly more dynamic instrumental to it. It has much more of a swell after the bridge with an electric guitar solo. They seem to strip it back alittle for this version.

I was overjoyed to see that you picked this song to react to :-) Not trying to be an annoying nit picker but this song is not BTS and it is not Suga. "So far away" is a track on AgustD´s solo mix tape ( yes, it is a little, maybe irrelevant difference in artist´s namings but if you heard full discography for Suga as being a part in BTS and Agust`D solos you would understand that separating the two makes sense. "So far away" was THE song for me that opened a new window to Min Yoongi and also made him my ultimate bias of BTS. The rest of tracks on his mix tape are equally great but this one was the one for me. On his mix tape, "So far away" feat Suran ( a female Korean artists Suga produced for ) and it has a little different feel to it. Then they recorded this version with Jin and JK. Both are great. This song is so special. Yoongi speaks of his life long ongoing battle with social anxiety and depression. It hits hard because many people can relate. He has guts to open up about such personal topic but he doesn´t end on a desperate note - his " Dream.... " verses bring hope and comfort to many who are in the same boat.
This lyrics from Suga as well as Tomorrow were honestly life changing for me, trough his words that came from his experience as someone who has dealed with depression he made me feel comforted in a sense of acnowledment if someone doesnt try to understand whats happening to you, you feel worthless so with this lyrics he made me feel like i wasnt alone and that i wasnt the only one going trough that, later i learnt of course depression is a very common mental illness but the fact that this songs made me feel accompanied and even got to cheere me up sometimes trough those nasty days is something i will never forget and underapreciate

Great reaction to a wonderful song! Yes, from my understanding, all of the BTS members have gone/are going to college, hence how they were able to defer required military service. They must all serve a minimum of 18 months--maybe longer depending on the branch they serve in. Jin has his master's degree and completed most of his schooling face-to-face. Unfortunately, his time is almost up and must enlist by the end of this year, and Suga just 3 months later. ARMY doesn't like talking about military service, but some say "Moon" by Jin is a "I love you" to ARMY before he leaves??? I don't know, but it's a great song and I would love to see a reaction from 'yall about it.
Dont worry, i dont think jin going to army this year. Because many idols who 1992 still not enlist. Exo suho who born 1991, just announced he going to enlist this may. His fellow member baekhyun who born may 1992 going to make solo comeback on may. He also just re-debut in superm october last year. So, whats that mean? They have time until 29 years old which for jin its gonna be december 2021. You guys just need to pay attention for other idols to know when jin gonna enlist. Medias, kpop fans keep on talking about this because BTS is the most popular group and they cant wait to see BTS lose their popularity.

I think we all would like to find our way as soon as possible, but it comes at different times. Everyone matures differently in life to make choices, to say "I still don't know what I want, but I certainly know what I don't want anymore." I probably wish I was aware enough to do some things in my life at the age of 20, not when I was 40. But I don't want to regret anything, because everything that was before created me today.

The lyrics were written with very elegant and poetic words in Korean (the rap part is frank and straightforward like usual Agust D). *There's a WRONG translation: Dream, may all of creation be with you till the end of your life (first love) That should be > dream, hope it to be there with you at your creation and at the end of your life. i personally think the suran one hits a lot harder because of the vocals and guitar, the arrangement and the fact that it is the original version. Jin has reached the age limit to enlist in the military. He was expected to start his 18 month service at the end of this year. There was speculation that they would all enlist together instead of in age order. No one knows what the heck will happen now that their tour is postponed and the pandemic may not be gone by then because people are selfish assholes. :)
The main point is actually that it's okay if you feel lost and don't have dream whenever that dream comes if it ever comes then may it be great and bring you joy

This is Suga's one of great creations. For your info, they all have to fulfill the mandatory military service and Jin will be the first one to go.
