But wait, if there are more 2K eggs, then should I use my limited-use incubators on them? On the one hand, I get to take advantage of the discounted egg distance. But on the other, I get less mileage out of my incubators.

i don't really get the 'get more miles' out of incubators argument for not hatching 2k eggs with them, you literally get more miles out of them sure, but they hatch the same amount of eggs regardless of the type of egg they hatch, so why get obsessed with having the incubator in your inventory for 30km over 6km?
Dustin Sylvester because you get more bang for your buck. putting the 10k egg on the paid incubator means you can walk with that egg while also hatching 5 2k eggs in the free incubator, so 6 eggs in total. if you use the free incubator to hatch a 10k egg and have a spare paid incubator then the most eggs you can get in the same amount of time is 4 eggs before you have to buy another incubator.
I would like to be able to throw away eggs... like send them to the professor, he can hatch them himself XD

Agreed, I feel like I've been on level 36 for 6 month. With the event I should be able to get the last 500k out of the 2 million to hit level 37. It's almost taken some of the fun out of the game for me. I enjoy leveling up because I feel a since of accomplishment.
I agree about the egg incubators. Since they are doing an event on the eggs, why doesn't the egg incubators have a discount on coins on them either? Just weird.

I once saw one on my nearby list and I wanted to catch it but it was too far and I had to go home but I regret not catching it.

now that the egg date/location feature actually works, i noticed yesterday that i'd accidentally been neglecting one of my 5k eggs... the time stamp was late-ish january. tangela was the last thing i needed - region exclusives and legendaries aside - to complete my gen1 'dex, and i've been complaining for months about not being able to hatch the stupid thing already (forget catching a wild one; i live in the uk and in a water biome just to make it even harder!) ... any guesses what i hatched today? :p

Panasonic makes some great cameras. I used the G7 for over a year as my main camera, but you're right on, autofocusing is an issue with Panasonic cameras. Nothing holds a candle to Sony (other than possibly the Canon 80D). I picked up the A6300 (a step up from your A6000), has a mic jack, 4k video, but no flip out screen, unfortunately.

All 6 of the others I got were 2's. All 9 of my husband's were 2's. I'm guessing the 5's and 10's won't be dropping very frequently. We've hatched most of the 2's already and we're happy to get a Shuckles and several Sneasels which we never see here.

hey nick as a trainer in your area i offer a rad idea for you here we go,
during events (specifically xp based) i say you pick a couple days and annouce which parks (specifically pidgey nests) and encourage a mass of trainers around the area to come pidgey farm with you and others abroad :) hear me out , pidgey would literally be the best pokemon to farm so it will make it easy to narrow down the nests we could all meet at you could live stream the whole thing ; more trainers will be encourgered to get together , you get hella content , everybody's happy
As a trainer whos at one time played at the same park same time with you id like to try it again.:)

While that is a cool idea, I don't think Nick is thrilled about announcing his exact whereabouts. Sometimes, even RUclipsrs don't want to be mobbed by thousands of strangers on a weekly basis. Randomly meeting a fan while out and about then each of them continuing on their way is one thing. Having several DOZEN people around you (who likely idolize you) and every single one of them vying for your attention at once? Sounds like a nightmare.

Issac Thor well, for those who don't have all the Pokémon they want or need I see. My dex is almost full minus region exclusives and Aerodactyl. So I could really care less about this event. Don't need more candies, don't want double XP because I don't wanna max out to quickly.

Issac Thor well as for IV's I'm very picky. I keep everything over 90%. I have around 24 perfect IV Pokémon. The move set thing I can see has been an issue so we keep the best IV mon we can and hope for a good move set. but in all reality all the 95% and higher mon I have, have been caught in the wild, and my 100% mon over 15 of them were caught as well.

you will need new eggs to benefit from the event old eggs will not have the rare hatches so wait till the event starts to load up new eggs so you have the rare eggs!

The Panasonic G85 is a good cam.
But the auto focus sucks, if the settings is at +2 then it will focus sharply ur face, when u r near to it.
if the settings is at 0 , then it never foucus... but will focus sharply on to things far away from it.
Moral of the story: Don't buy it, it sucks.

Thank you nick for reminding me to update a park that needed to be enlarged badly, Open street maps only had a very small portion as the "park" even though it says riverbend all down the walking paths throughout it. (also it is the only water biome where I live)
I feel like gyms need to be reset with each nest migration. Sick of the impossible to defeat lvl 10 blissey gyms.
Finally!! Finishing all these Gen 1 evolutions I've been waiting on for extra XP is probably going to get me from 28-29 alone with all the dex entries! Plus I held on to some 10kms so I could get extra candy just like I did when I hatched my aerodactyl during the last double candy thing and got 56 aero candy from one hatch

I know most rare Pokémon from 10ks are now in 2ks. But what about snorlax? I've seen many lists of the new Pokémon in 2ks for the event and none of them list him (I don't have him btw).

Sebastian Kowdrysh when did he say to stop saving your candies? he said that you can still save your candies but that he is done waiting. He also said in his q&a like three weeks ago that it's possible that there would be an Easter event, which makes sense since I'm pretty sure we've had an event for every major American celebrated holiday. He lives in long beach where it's extremely easy to get more pokemon, so you shouldn't equate him being done saving candies to mean that you should also be done saving candies.

Sebastian Kowdrysh seems like a lot of people interpreted it as that. Maybe it would have helped his audience understand better if he explain how easy it is for him to get pokemon while also talking more about the likelihood of an Easter event. That being said, I haven't evolved any pokemon since summer, so I have quite a long evolution marathon to look forward to.

Can you describe what was around the gym? If it was on private property, the owner may have asked Niantic to remove it. Even some public spaces have requested that they not be in the game. Safety reasons and whatnot. Don't freak out, all your gyms aren't going to disappear.

derrrr it's a cash grab event duhhhhh open your mind. Oh really? You don't say? OF COURSE IT'S A CASH GRAB EVENT. But they could have made the incubators cheaper instead of the lucky eggs. I guarantee you that people would be more interested in stocking up on incubators than they would be for lucky eggs. Look at it like this, since you apparently didn't open YOUR mind: A person with only the infinite incubator wants to be able to hatch all the eggs possible during this event. They wouldn't give a crap about getting x4 XP if they didn't at least hatch something really cool. And which looks better? x2 XP with a LOT of egg hatches plus whatever Pokestops you spin plus whatever you catch plus whatever you evolve, or x4XP with just maybe a handful of eggs, plus whatever you catch, evolve, and spin? It's not just about the XP during an event, it's also about what you get from it. I would love to hatch a Lapras for instance, but is that going to happen? No. Because I don't have the time to go out and only hatch one egg at a time and hope that when I spin a stop it will be a 10k. There is so much more I could say but if you haven't gotten the point by now, then you're a lost hope.

Good luck with the camera search. Pretty much all of the reviews I've seen give Sony a huge thumbs up for their focus technology. The Panasonic brand is nice but I do understand your questioning their focus ability. As far as image comparisons, that's in the eye of the beholder.
The Sony a6500 is nice but the price does sting.
