I think a gallery of all different types of mirrors would look great on the wall going up the stairs. Old/new mirrors, different shapes etc xx

The embroidery hoop .... I think maybe a quilting hoop, that's why it's so large. Love the updates! X
I love how every time you pick up one of the kittens you give them a little kiss, I do that with my kitty too! And just so you know my kitty is 8 years old and I still call her a kitten, doesn't matter how old they are, they will always be your kittens!!
Instead of a water sprayer, use a can of forced air, the kind you use to clean keyboards. My son discovered this by accident when his cat jumped on his keyboard while he was cleaning it. We’ve been using it for a couple of decades and lots of cats in many different situations. Leaving a can in sight in the forbidden space quickly becomes a deterrent. Trick from Texas!

The old embroidery hoop wood look amazing with jasmine growing on it 👌
Love the sage green, such a calming colour. We're just about to fit cup handles in our kitchen, when you held them up the cup part was pointing upwards - it needs to point down so they don't catch all the crud - I'm sure you know 😀
Also, was curious on your staircase where you're going to put the knobble, is that hardboard covering up what might be lovely spindles??

Those kittens are so lovely. I grew up with cats, I can't get enough of them. Re, the hoop: maybe you could take up embroidery. I knit and crochet and have never done much embroidery, but cross-stitch is pretty easy and I'm sure you could invent something or find some inspiration online.🙂

Back home in Cape Town after my 3 month holiday in Wales, it was so cold some days, the temp was -7. So enjoyed my holiday, the people were so friendly and North Wales is so beautiful. Then back to CT and the heat, temperatures ranging from 27C to 37C, wishing for the cold weather of Wales. 🙂

Some cats just have a thing wanting to be up high, like sitting on your shoulder etc. If you can put up some shelves that you let them be on, then there is less chance they be wanting to be where you don’t want them to be, you and cats can both be happy x
Lovely video 😊 Why don’t you put one side of the new handle in an existing hole, then only one hole to fill? Maybe have the handles the other way up so no dust settles in the ‘cup’ , just a little suggestion? X

Looking forward to watching the Kitchen makeover. I would remove all of the hooks on the new Dresser and fill the holes before painting. I like the look of the Mugs standing upright to show them off.
The pictures of the kittens are beautiful. I can't get nice pictures of mine.
My cats jump up on every surface of the house, countertops including, but I don't mind. I just clean up well before cooking.
You could consider using one of the handle holes already made so you just have to cover one. Maybe use the one near to the opening end.

An acorn finial would look good on the newel Post, mid you I saw a wonderful pineapple finial recently but the price was eye-watering

I did laugh with the cat and the cream cakes. They obviously have good taste! My cat was the same but seems to have calmed down now in later life. The pics of them look great
You are going to be busy! The dresser in the kitchen is gorgeous.
The footage of the kittens with the cream cakes was hilarious. One of my cats ate a big hole in a Sainsbury’s carrier bag to get at some bread. She wasn’t even ill afterwards. They still have a naughty streak even though they are now 9.
It is 80 degrees F and full sun here on the southeast coast of Florida, at 2:19 pm today. Still in short sleeve shirt and shorts and wearing flip flops. Hope y’all warm up soon. My cat is the absolute stamp of yours and he’s extremely naughty. He finds the water spray hilarious and makes it into a game. When he was a kitten, no food was safe - cakes, scones, uncooked meat…… he even ate through foil 😩. He’s 8 now and has only slightly calmed down 😕

I love those cats.🥰 ..by the way.. have you start gathering mugs like Kate? 🙈 You should start to watch Jackson Galaxy. 💕 The water spray is not good for cats. They don't understand it and it's also harmfull. I don't really remember how but I remember that it's not good for bonding with them. And it's no use to denail them from jumping in to table and such because they are gona do it anyway when you not at home. Give a kiss from me. 😻

Loving the new colour! We have just revamped our kitchen and the co joined dining area. Very similar colour! All the cupboards are White but the wall panelling is a very similar green to yours. 👍👍👍👍

Definitely an aerosol is great for naughty kittens, always worked well for mine and they were very naughty when they were kittens.

You could put and water into a cup and freeze it then put this onto your plants in the loft and this slowly releases water so the plant doesn’t get over watered but at the same time doesn’t get forgotten 😊 learnt this of another utuber thought this was a great idea 😂

We used water with a small amount of white vinegar , worked a treat 👍🏻
Thinking about the embroidery hoop....a wreath sounds good. Or could you do some kind of art on a piece of material like tie dye, material collage with embroidery on it to create textures or Dylon dyes.

I’ve just gone for sage green for my kitchen and I’m enjoying it.
Cats luv cream made me laugh. My cats over the yrs. have got into lots of things. 🙂 Funny how some like sweets. I use a water sprayer. My tabby is a 14 months old now. Now yes they just keep on staying couch etc. and will go back after squirt a few days later. It will ease up when their a bit older. Just trim their nails every 6 weeks- this really helps. On amazon you can get scratching posts . I bought the one with 3 on it and a big sware shaped one. I have 3 scratching posts- the bigger and heavier the better . One in bedroom- 2 in living room. You can buy the plastic shields on Amazon for your furniture which works. Put catnip on scratching posts .A big play cat tower is really great for 2 cats- they sleep on it and scratch on it. My cat now after using water squirting now uses the scratching posts. They love high places to sleep.Luv your videos- have a fantastic rest of the week ❤️😻
You could do macrame on your hoop. Or make it into a photo holder put material into the hoopand clip photos to it. You can use old jeans the pocket areas fasten onto the hoop and use the pockets to store something. You could buy a large frame put your hoop in the centre to make a window or picture and use string from the hoop to the frame all around to keep the hoop in place.
How cute are your kitties. I usually start with the worst area. Paint those first.

Those kittens are a riot! I love the kitchen shelf unit, btw, it looks really good in the kitchen space and I'm looking forward to seeing the new green color when you get around to that project. I think a gallery wall would be fun and interesting in the upstairs stairway.

Hi Iwan, love the cushion covers, im sure Mittens and Pumpkin think so too. They have grown so much and are really beautiful. The photographs in Luke's frames look perfect on the mantle. Mmmm I must say I have been loving corduroy on sofas lately, I liked the sage green corduroy swatch. Whatever you choose will look good, of that I am sure.

Hope it's not to late you should make a cardbroad template where to place cabinet handles that way it'll save you tons of headache & time. >> speaking of the new cabinet handles I've seen them turned around from the way your showing them the way I've only seen them was the opening underneath. My bedroom suite handles are that way.

Hi Mr. C. I recently watched a reno where they also replaced the cupboard door handles. The guy made a wooden template that fit the new handles and he just had to put it in the exact spot on all the cupboards and drill through the holes. It seemed to save him so much time! Love your videos.

I really enjoy your videos, and I especially like the ones with the kittens being included. This one has been great as they have played quite a big role in this video. I love all animals but I really have a soft spot for cats. They are mischievous but that’s what makes them such fun to have.
Oh Mr C, my cats just heard mittens meowing and they are now looking for her lol. They are now sat half in and half out of the bedroom window to make sure she doesn't come in their home lol. Ohhh you have just got love cats!!!!!! x
Try citronella oil on a cotton wool ball in your worktop to repel the kittens x

Cats have an amazing nose for food, any food. I have eight, I also have two tabby cats Maggi and Mittens although she has white socks.
Hi the water spray will only work for so long try a automatic air spray, not harmfullbut will give them a blast of air,they won't like it but it's harmless,and they know you are the one spraying them.with that it will work on a censor when your not there. Amazon or some pet websites will sell them there cuties xxx

I do so love your new kitchen cupboard, Mr. C -- can't wait to see all the kitchen once you've painted. Do be careful painting that stairwell! For the kittens, who seem to be impervious to being spritzed with water, try hissing at them when they venture into forbidden territory, just like a mama cat would do. It works for my sweet Kensie ... most of the time!

Hi Mr. C! Love the sage color you chose for the kitchen cabinets. Also love the colors of the mug cupboard. Lol...gotta love Pumpkin & Mittens mischief. 😄 Our hairless Chinese Crested once gave us a huge scare doing something similar getting into my husband's peanut butter & fudge brownie from his work bag.
