Justin I hope you know you are one of the best fragrance enthusiasts on RUclips. You have a passion, knowledge, presentation and manner that meld into something that cannot be found anywhere else, it’s truly remarkable. Thank you for another masterpiece of a video, keep up the good work!
I have Gucci Guilty Absolute, and I absolutely love it. Indeed a really unique scent. I mostly wear this on a black outfit because I think that "look" matches with what the fragrance provides. Very confident.
I absolutely love what you've done with your collection in terms of organizing them so neatly and professionally. It makes me feel good when I see RUclipsrs I respect and follow grow and thrive in front of eyes as time moves forward. Big fan, always!
Gucci Guilty Absolute is such an interesting fragrance to me because it's one that I can't think of too many situations to wear it in, yet I still absolutely love it. The times that I have worn it was usually when I know I won't be around/interacting with lots of people (and in cooler temps obviously). Some days I'd even just wear it around the house if I'm in the mood. It's one of those "I really have to be in the mood for it" fragrances.
My favorite from Ineke which I bought a full bottle of was Idyllwild. Very fresh forest scent, not for everyone but just rare to find refreshing woods. Jaipur Chai was what it sounds like, creamy spiced tea.
Another great video! Your way of talking about perfumes is so inspiring, it makes us perfume lovers even more into the fragrance scene (it's my case). I really enjoy all of your content, and even people who don't know you personally can tell you're a really great person. Keep up the good work! Cheers from Brazil.
Great video. My comment is not so much about the video, but a suggestion for you - some scents that I have never seen you talk about and that I think you would be interested in and potentially fall in love with: - Amouage Epic Man (wearing it right now and it is absolutely intoxicating) - Nasomatto Pardon - Chanel Les Exclusifs Coromandel - Penhaligon‘s Halfeti (OG) Take care and keep up the amazing and BY FAR best frag channel on youtube. Florian from Switzerland
I don’t know how but I just knew Field Notes From Paris was going to be in this video lmao. The second I clicked I checked the description and I was correct 😅. I ordered another two samples and they came in the mail today. It is so so lovely. It’s so cozy and romantic smelling 🥰
Great discussion as always! I was, admittedly, a bit surprised that you chose to include Rose 31. I too am a big fan of that fragrance. In fact, after watching your review, I decided to make it my son of the day. Keep up the great work.
Love this series! Thank you for all of the work you put into them- you can feel it on this side (the gotcha grace moment was hilarious lol). I also really like knowing the perfumers behind them, it's great to know the superstars/artists of the in industry. I have tried the Roja one, and you explained it well, the elemi is strong, and kind of different smelling, but good overall. I want to try the rest, they all sound so different and interesting! Grazie!
I just blind bought oud wood, and I'm a big fan. I've definitely smelled it before passing by people, but didn't know what it was. The only TF I'd tried before this was ombre leather, but it was not my scent. Oud wood is right up my alley, and I'll be keeping this one.
Justin, there's a reason you're my favorite, and content like this is one of many. I love hearing about these older scents. I could give two turtle turds about the latest release of...Versace Dylan Blu Midnight Sunrise Elixir Sport Intense Profumo Parfum Man or whatever nonsense is being released. Let's move forward by going back and learning and experiencing and expanding our nasal palettes.
Nice new setup. Sometime in next year I’m moving to a (much) bigger house. Finally gonna be able to have a library for my books and comics. Area for my games and finally my colognes. Have about 800. I keep saying one of these days I’m gonna unload 500 of them for dirt cheap online……but it’s so much work!!! So looking forward to making my frags look nice like that.
I recently found your channel and i found it great! the only feedback i would give to you is that you can improve on the thumbnails. other than that great content, you earned a sub :)
I have tried three fragrances from this list so far. The first is the older Eau Extreme (EdP) version of L'Instant de Guerlain, which is pretty dense, but also very elegant and cozy...especially in the air. The second is A Midsummer Dream...which became a masterpiece for me after wearing it to an evening outdoor-event this summer. (I actually blind-bought this in July after hearing you talk so positively about it in a few of your videos...and then finding a 100ml bottle for 208 swiss francs 😆) The third one is Guilty Absolute by Gucci (blind-bought just a few days ago 🤣). The weather is still too warm here to give it a proper wearing, but smelling it off of my hand and in the air makes me very curious to do so. Now...Thank you for making such phenomenal videos and for sharing a pretty similar taste in fragrances! But regularly watching your and Mr. Ross Carlos' videos also resulted in me buying three Roja's (A Midsummer Dream, Enigma PC and Elysium Parfum) in the last few months. Luckily I got pretty good deals on all three bottles...or otherwise I would be broke by now 🤣
My two favorites are Minotaur by Paloma Picasso and Starwalker by Montblanc. I have no idea how they rate overall when it comes to Eau de Toilettes, but they’ll be my go-to fragrances until the day I die.
I do have that Gucci absolu!! It’s the most challenging of all the scents I own and I love it. By the way be sure to include me when purge time comes 😂
A midsummer dream is the only fragrance from Roja that I have tried so far and liked. Out of 6-7 ones I've tried that's the only one that moved me, and eventually getting a full bottle! Great video as usual
I adore Sur le nil, such a peaceful, calming scent, Ellena did it again. And Justin IDK if you have tried the whole line, but I dare you to do so. Some real (new) gems have spawned with Christine Nagel.
Have you done a video with Grace about her personal favorites that she wears? If yes, link? If not, I think many of us would be interested in what she likes to wear. Just my thoughts.
A Midsummer Dream is indeed a timeless masterpiece which sadly hasnt started a trend which i think it deserves. Its truly difficult when the scent has a certain classic feel.
Totally agree about the fragrances on this list that I'm familiar with: Green Water (I have an earlier iteration of this), Yatagan, L'Instant, and GG Absolut. I still miss the older version of the EDP of L'Instant (the Eau Extreme). It was one of my favorite scents of all time; the current formulation of the EDP is a pale reflection of it. Have you ever gotten your nose on Knize Ten? It absolutely belongs on a list like this....as does Dior's Eau Sauvage...and Guerlain's Jicky.
I havn't smelled the EDT version of L'Instant, but I have the EDP version and it has good staying power on my skin. A playfull yet still very classy scent.
Justin, where do you get the cabinet? I have filled the vanity in the bathroom and want to regain my real-estate space. I have Roja a Mid summer night dream and Burlington 1819. I also just bought 1872 and Town & Country by Clive Christian
Loved this series. Cant sample any of them in Soth Africa. Only currently own a clone (inspired by) of Oud Wood. Love it. High on the wish list, as well as Gucci Guilty Absolute.
I have Pierre de Velay 25 and it has a similar profile to Misummer Dream so I bought a full bottle of the former rather than the latter. PDV 25 is a beefed up "upgraded" Midsummer. I still enjoy Midsummer as I am a Roja fan boy. I also find Gucci Guilty Absolute from your list addictive.
It's so true what you said about it being weird about knowing a creator. But I know this is off the subject as it was with the music. But what about looking more into God i thought. Back on the subject I've been watching from years ago but recently became a subscriber I follow many it the fragrance communitie and have a bit of niche myself. Your doing a very good job and thank you for the fun laughter entertaining videos and last But far from least thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents much love my name is Hector I'm from Brooklyn east new York currently living in Wisconsin Milwaukee.
If you want to try another Ineke, try her fougere called Idyllwild. It's a nice, fresh, and green jaunt through the woods after a storm. Jaipur Chai is another popular one, but to me it came across a bit too "Yankee Candle". I've heard Derring-Do is really good, but haven't tried it yet.
I have Oud Wood which I find phenomenal. I also have the Guilty Absolute. That is a fragrance I have a love/hate relationship with and right now its firmly in the hate category
L'Instant de Guerlain is my all-time favorite. So elegant. Smells modern and classic at the same time. And agree about Rose 31. Another floral-cumin I suggest is Serge Lutens Fleurs d'Oranger.
I’ve tried a few fragrances that feature rose and for my nose it hasn’t taken . To a point where if I hear any fragrances that have it , I have to pass based off my own experiences
Love this series. 1872 is beautiful.. Yatagan is Lovely, I almost got it but chose Aimez moi comme je suis over it (another master piece in my opinion). I tried L'instant and didn't like it because it is almost undetectable on me, maybe an eau de parfum or even a parfum might change my mind. Gucci Guilty Absolute is probably the most unique Gucci scent ever made, I love it, a 10 for me. The others I'm not very familiar with except maybe Jardin which feels more feminine to me and I'd prefer something like Gentle Fluidity Silver over it, but I can totally understand why it made this video. Have you tried Beyond Paradise from Estee Lauder? I'm curious to hear your thoughts about it. I have never smelled anything like it. I think it is long discontinued.
@@stayfreshproductions it is very interesting, it has a sort of a tropical fruity aquatic and fresh feel to it, like being close to fresh water while having a tropical fruit smoothie, it actually takes me back to Chiang Mai water falls in Thailand and reminds me of the ripe papaya, mango, guava, sapote and pineapple!
I really like your take on fragrances. I just don't agree that much about Oud Wood. Not that it isn't amazing, because it is, but because I don't think it is a trend setter. To me it Follows the steps of it's older brother M7, that is obviously linked to. To me M7 it the one that set the Oud trend going. And it is still available. Very hard to find, but it is being made.
Thank you. Nowhere in this video did say Oud Wood is a trend setter specifically as far as its use of Oud goes. It is a trend setter just based on its overall profile. That’s why countless fragrances smell like it since its release. Nonetheless, I agree that M7 is a seminal fragrance, which is why it was in the previous episode of this series.
Lidge extreme original for me is no1 in my collection,I have half a bottle left used very sparingly, I know a lot do not dig clones, but duas # addicted is the closest I've tried if you don't want to spend a fortune on an original bottle.
It's kind of part of its charm. It's very light, airy. Women love that attribute because strong smells tend to actually bug the ladies. I can't smell light fragrances on myself makes me sad because I want to smell it if I like the DNA
Justin, congratulations on your timeless masterpieces topic but I didn't see Coromandel in your previous chapters. Did I miss it or you find that giant of a perfumery not a timeless one?!
It’s crazy how Gucci shook up the fragrance world with GGA smh. It is slowly becoming my favorite ever. I know it’s frowned on but I will have two 5 oz bottles of this just in case it disappears.
I'm only 3 mins 21 secs in, but I had to pause to say, that was a very well informed, intelligent, & level headed intro.
Thank you!

Gucci Guilty Absolute is definitely coming home this year. I looooooooooove it man!!!

Dope seeing you on the news recently man, congrats. Great, informative list per usual my guy 👌
Thank you Brandon!
Love your videos. You make it personable and and with a lot of passion.
I appreciate that!
I have decants of 1872 and A MidSummers Dream, they are both in fact timeless and smell so good to me.
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
My favorite from Ineke which I bought a full bottle of was Idyllwild. Very fresh forest scent, not for everyone but just rare to find refreshing woods. Jaipur Chai was what it sounds like, creamy spiced tea.
Please keep us updated! I’ve been a fan since 15’
Great video, lol I'm here for the purge bro. I'm sure it feels awesome to have all those fragrances in order goodness.
Another great video! Your way of talking about perfumes is so inspiring, it makes us perfume lovers even more into the fragrance scene (it's my case). I really enjoy all of your content, and even people who don't know you personally can tell you're a really great person. Keep up the good work! Cheers from Brazil.
Thank you!
Without a doubt in my mind, this man is a connoisseur 😊
Midsummer Dream finally getting some love!!! My favorite Roja!! I take it every summer when I go on vacation. Decent for compliments too.
I've never heard of you speak about 1872. A true classic, IMO.
My leather jacket go to fragrance
Yes that the visual / background right there🤩
Great video. My comment is not so much about the video, but a suggestion for you - some scents that I have never seen you talk about and that I think you would be interested in and potentially fall in love with:
- Amouage Epic Man (wearing it right now and it is absolutely intoxicating)
- Nasomatto Pardon
- Chanel Les Exclusifs Coromandel
- Penhaligon‘s Halfeti (OG)
Take care and keep up the amazing and BY FAR best frag channel on youtube. Florian from Switzerland
Thank you Florian! I’ve tried some of these and they are great.

Rose 31 is one of my favorites. I get why folks don’t like it, especially given Le Labo’s prices, but I love it
Bro you’re doing great work, keep it up, your backdrop of perfumes is sick.
Appreciate it!
CC Masculine 1872 is one of my favourites. It's a masculine and better brother of Creed Royal Water. Great stuff!
Love this series! Thank you for all of the work you put into them- you can feel it on this side (the gotcha grace moment was hilarious lol). Caron bottles look so classy. I have to give Yatagan another shot.

I was weirded out by Gucci as well but today I fell in love with it..
I understand!

Yes we have but it was years ago. Need an updated one.

Hi Justin, I own only one from this list so happy I have Gucci guilty absolute will get back up bottle or two.
Love l’instant and yatagan 🔥🔥🔥
I see that first one getting a lot of hate but it sounds good.
I havn't smelled the EDT version of L'Instant, but I have the EDP version and it has good staying power on my skin. A playfull yet still very classy scent.
I just purged. It was amazing. I had no where near what you have but for me was still excessive. Went from 100 down to 29. Plus decants.
Whoa. That’s a lot but purging is definitely necessary.
Love roja fragrance. Now a timeless for me is chanel egoiste it is so dam good 👍

Now that’s a background!!!!
Love CC 1872.
I find Green Water to be similar to Floris Elite, in the opening at least, so give that a try too.
Interesting!
Never thought I would hear Caron Yatagan in a video in 2024. Especially, in a Masterpiece list where timeless was a criteria.
Well, here we are. What now?

What's your take on LV Ombre Nomade?
I liked it when it smelled it, but don’t know it too well.
2nd Soul is the GOAT. Field Notes from Paris is the baby GOAT. GG Absolute is the bandaid GOAT (but I still love it).
🤣🙏🏾
Gucci absolute is a masterpiece I have to agree
Where do you get your cabinets?
Got them from Amazon:

Justin, is gucci guilty absolute no.10 in ranking or just in arrangement without ranking??
As I mentioned in the beginning, all of the fragrances are in order chronologically in terms of their release!
Now that's a lot of it
I get dibs on dibs Juicetang
Gucci guilty absolute is definitely masterpiece
Rose 31 is great
Lidge extreme original for me is no1 in my collection,I have half a bottle left used very sparingly, I know a lot do not dig clones, but duas # addicted is the closest I've tried if you don't want to spend a fortune on an original bottle.
Love Rose 31 but it gives me a headache unfortunately
I wish Oud Wood lasted longer.
These days it lasts 4h on my skin :/
It's kind of part of its charm. It's very light, airy. Women love that attribute because strong smells tend to actually bug the ladies. I can't smell light fragrances on myself makes me sad because I want to smell it if I like the DNA
From the 90, declaration
Great one. It was in previous episodes
“I appreciate the crap out of it, but I don’t love it.”
That’s gonna be my next breakup line.

Justin, congratulations on your timeless masterpieces topic but I didn't see Coromandel in your previous chapters. Did I miss it or you find that giant of a perfumery not a timeless one?!
Thank you! Among countless others that are also missing from this series, I do not own Coromandel.
It’s crazy how Gucci shook up the fragrance world with GGA smh. It is slowly becoming my favorite ever. I know it’s frowned on but I will have two 5 oz bottles of this just in case it disappears.
You've piqued my interest with Green Water. Have you done a x mass appealing masterpiece s and x polarizing masterpieces vid?
Hey Ronald, I haven’t done those videos!
😂😂😂16:52😂😂😂😂
I’m a real one, I watch the intros lol
Appreciate you!
You must try L'Instant EDP. If you love the EDT, you'll want to marry the EDP, get a divorce & marry again!
