5:49 We used to play Oregon Trail in the computer lab at school. I would name my family after my classmates so I could announce out loud "Oh no, Bryce died of dissentery. Jamie got washed away while crossing the river. Oh darn " 😅😂
Omg, I played Oregon Trail in my history class before Christmas break and I was so invested in getting all my players to the end and I screamed "CURSE YOU DISSENTERY!" When one of them died RIGHT before I reached the end with all of them alive. 😭
I want to add for Pan'orama, the landscape and features on the tiles grow and change as you add more matching tiles near them! Like a forest tile with a scattering of small trees, the trees will get bigger and bigger as the forest expands. A scattering of rocks will merge together as bigger mountains. It's super cute.
FYI for those who might be interested, SoS A Wonderful Life doesn't seem to be on sale in the North American shop, but Cult of the Lamb is also on sale with a new update
As an American…I can testify that it was pretty much mandatory to play The Oregon Trail somewhere between 4th-5th grade 🤣 I don’t remember all of the details, but I I do remember my team being the only one that survived. 🎉
Dredge is awesome & highly recommended, but to clarify - the “deluxe” version only includes the original Blackstone DLC (which is just an engine and a talisman) and not the recent Pale Reach DLC, which includes new fish and new gameplay.

Maybe a slightly odd budget game recommendation, but I saw this title while browsing "what's popular with friends right now?" and saw people had a ton of hours in this game. It's called Virtual Families Cook Off: Let's Go Flippin', and while the way it's presented betrays its potential phone game origins, I've been surprised by just how much gameplay I've gotten out of this title. It's simple, fun and addictive. You prepare orders as they come in, and all the actions are assigned to buttons, so it makes for fast-paced gameplay. There's also a lot of content in the game, I've been at it for twenty hours and I think I'm about halfway through. Might be worth checking out if you enjoy restaurant management style games.
I am not sure if someone already asked you, but have you tried Minute of Island? It's puzzle solving, walking game and I find it cozy & little bit creepy. It performs good on switch, the art style is beautiful, and it's partially voice narrated. It's often on sale with a big discount. I like this game and I am interested in your opinion)
