Siempre me he preguntado porque Argerich no nos regala una grabación con la integral de los estudios de Chopin..... causaría revuelo y se vendería como 🥐 pan caliente. He leído que los trabajo todos después de dejar a Scaramuzza y hay grabaciones aisladas de varios de ellos.....la técnica maravillosa sigue ahí!!!!
Martha playing a short fragment of a Chopin Piano concerto - if she only could play the Chopin Piano Concerto 1 and 2 once again in her career- that would be a huge treat….
@ is wonderful- but it’s not even as close as Horowitz and Sokolov with the Scriabin etude - there are thing’s I like about Pogorelich’s as with Larouche and Alice Ott’s Le Gibet- but Martha’s is my favourite - all the 3 are hers- I even got the chance to tell her that a month ago Just my own opinion - I can see her Scarbo and Ondine being outdone - there’s hardly room a better Le Gibet than her recording in I think Amsterdam
@ I’m very conflicted about Pog vs Argerich Ondine tbh - I still like Argerich’s sound more, feel more- but Pogorelich is probably more precise at time’s Maybe I’m just immovably biased because- it’d still take a miracle to dethrone her from any gdln rendition- i’m getting Clidat vs Cziffra vibes- it almost hardly matters to compare the two, as they’re both objectively incredible playing Liszt
@@Nachscrach Honestly I don’t think that is a good piano though it’s a Chinese brand. Chopin concerto 2 sounds very dull with that piano even it’s played by the legend Martha. Actually I heard of that she was paid to choose that piano as a promotion for the local brand and that’s is what happened in her Chinese tour. Just few seconds before the show the Steinway is replaced by a yangtze piano by stuff for whatever reason(some stuff revealed that the replacement is at Martha’s discretion). That has made some audiences complain on social media about the poor sound quality.
@lalahohoable I didn't say you were stupid.On the contrary you appear as a sophisticated young person.I was just saying that this is not brilliant since she is actually not performing ( there is nothing extraordinary about it !) , her mind and heart is obviously not in it, since she is just trying a new piano.
