They have the feature that after the flower's fade you have a extra flush in Autumn of the bright red rose hips or seed pods. They put up suckers like mad so you have to keep them under control.
@reneejustl2894. We visited the week after Labor Day. Tends to be less crowded and sometimes cheaper. Overall the weather was better than we expected 😀 About one month ago we returned for our second trip to Ireland and weather worked out again! Might be more luck than planning!
