It's tough being a one man operation, so kudos for you. It's good that you're reviewing and doing different content each time, keep up the good work. I'm moving back to Oz at the end of the year and won't be taking my AOC 27" monitor back with me so I will be consider a portable monitor to use with my mini pc

Yeah thanks for the support again, a portable monitor is really handy to have when travelling so I would highly recommend you get one, a full size monitor is just too big at times but is great if you have a setup that never needs to move

ugh, I purchased the model you're showing in this video from TikTok shop and I'm annoyed because this thing doesn't have a built in cover to protect the screen. I looked up other A1 models and apparently there are two variants, this one and a different A1 that has a foldable screen cover. Have to spend another $15 to $20 just to get a case to make this thing mobile. ugh why did they design this monitor to not have a cover when transporting.

Yeah I know how you feel, I was disappointed that no cover was included to protect the screen when travelling as putting this in a backpack could risk the screen getting damaged without the protection

The models before had a magnetic protection cover which functions also as a stand. Unfortunately with all new models introduced they build in a stand but left out the protection cover. That is a pitty because the idea with the protection cover was smart. You can buy a laptop sleeve but this is not the same. An example how to make new products worse in same way (instead of combining build in stand + cover or sell the cover separately)

Yeah I was expecting the protective cover to be included but it wasn’t sadly, the screen is still great but extra care needs to be given if you are carrying this in a rucksack

You can still buy the previous version. I'm trying to figure out if the kickstand is worth $15 extra

@@brentb5026 Definitely, bought the version with kickstand and love it. You can also use the monitor in vertical position without problems. As a protection cover i bought a laptop sleeve.

@@guybrushthreepwood7612thanks! I was just about to buy another (magnetic case version) for $50. The kickstand version is on sale for $65
I will say.. the magnetic case version /can/ stand on it’s own, you just don’t get fancy angles
