Goodbye 974

Queensland Rail heritage C17 locomotive number 974 returns to their depot at Ipswich near Brisbane. It has been on lease to us so that we could continue to offer a steam powered heritage rail experience, whilst our loco under goes repairs.

Are you guys going to use the DH45 as your main locomotive or do you have another steam loco lined up. Also how is the 971 going

Yes, basically we are back to our faithful diesel until 971 returns to duty.
Endless hold-ups on re-manufacturing the axle boxes. Long story, but hope to see progress May/June.
