    Thank you very much ! I bought this 28" Rondeau or a stainless steel pan for the 1st time. It was on sale! I was nervous about using it. But after watching your videos, I feel more confident ! Thank you !!

    You are a wealth of helpful information. Your comments in another video about the Fissler thermal mass being so high and how great the searing would be convinced me to try the 28cm saute pan. Wow - the searing is incredible. My other pans are like toys compared to this pan. Thank you so much for making these videos.

    I’m sold on Fissler due to your reviews, I just can’t get it off my mind now 😅 I do have a full cooking set, but perhaps this one may just be the addition I need (want).

    The 28 cm version seems to only come with the big domed lid nowadays. The flat lid only comes with the 24 cm version or smaller.

      Yes correct. I personally prefer the flat lid. The pan is the same so it's still excellent.

    What is the highest temperature setting in the oven for this Fissler pan?

    • @mq46312
      @mq46312  2 года назад +1

      Not sure but I would worry about it. I've used it up to 220C in the oven.

      I have just checked that it is up to 230C in the oven.

    I really enjoy your videos. You are very good at analysis and education. I wish I had seen your cookware video you posted today when I was younger. A lot of money down the drain over the years! What is the device you place your pan on here after you are finished with the initial browning of the chicken? What does it do?

    • @mq46312
      @mq46312  2 года назад

      Oh that's just a portable gas stove I have. I just used it to briefly set the pan aside.

    is that not an infrared thermometer? Mine is wildly inaccurate on alu/stainless... its supposed to be.

    You can buy fresh rosemary and thyme and easily freeze. The taste of fresh herbs is on an entirely different level. I also love to use fresh flat-leave parley and fresh garlic (best bought at the Turkish / Arab grocery shop). Give it a try, you will instanly taste the difference.

      Yup I have lots of fresh herbs as well. This time I just used dried. I also get them from the Turkish shop here in the Netherlands.
