    Conditions were awesome on Saturday. One small salmon was all that we boated.

    What Make and size of Flyrod does the Mouseman use? where can you get one?

      kevin leconte That is a Fenwick fiberglass rod. They are fairly old. You can find them on eBay but they go for about 125 to 150.

      According to the Rangeley Region Sport Shops newsletter they estimate ice out between the 12th and 15th

    So this is my first year using fly rods for trolling.How much line should I let out. Im using full sinking level line.running about 1.8 to 2.0 mph

      Maurice Gauthier depends on where the fish are. I start with 50 feet. Then try 100. Then the rest. If they are near the surface, let the 30 foot leader out and only 10-20 feet of line. Good luck!
