It may be just your specific 2010 Draculaura, but I feel like they did a better job on the repro’s face. She looks more accurate to her art in my opinion. Very excited to get her! I was never able to get my hands on the original ghouls so I’m so happy to see them in stores again!!

All of our products need to be authorized by Inmetro in order to be sold in stores. I am soooo glad to see it in the box. This means we will get these dolls here sometime soon. Thanks for the vid. the new Draculaura is so adorable, i personally love her new face. the 2010 will forever be the most iconic one, but for a new generations her face is definitely perfect and more "contemporary"! also i don't know if someone told you already, but i'm pretty sure your 2010 Draculaura stand is Dead Tired Drac's stand 💚 i went to see my OG drac stand and it's more similar to the creeproduction! i also have DT Draculaura so i could compare her stand as well haha
It ALWAYS bugged me how short Draculauras leggings were, so it glad they're longer. Draculaura is the only creeproduction I'll get since I hated her as a child and didn't get her lol. I'm so glad I waited instead of getting one with glue seepage

Having Monster High dolls back in stores again (not for me here rn, Indonesia gets stuff late usually rip) is just so weird and nostalgic. It feels just like yesterday when I when I went to my local toy stores and saw thousands of First Wave Draculauras on the shelves
signature draculaura was my first monster high doll but unfortunately when i moved out of state i didn't bring any of my dolls with me so i am extremely excited to finally have her back in my collection a decade later (along with having her box because the monster high boxes rule)
im thinking her stand color is probably the same unless it was originally light pink in 2010, but i have an wave 1 draculaura from the 2012 rerelease and her stand is that exact coral pink color so i think the light pink stand may be wave 2 draculaura's stand since mine is on that color,,,, so yeah pretty sure the darker pink is her original stand (unless they changed it for some reason between 2010 and 2012)
so i think the reason why draculaura looks a bit shorter than her original doll is bc repro drac has a smaller neck. there’s an issue where their heads are pushed down too far on their neck making their necks very small, where as the originals sit perfectly fine on the neck and where they should be
I got my Drac a few weeks ago from a reasonable reseller (only like $5 more) because I couldn’t find her ANYWHERE. Mine has some issues, but I love love love her. Never was able to hold her as a child. Had her in box for a day and she vanished. (My grandma lost her accidentally. Never saw another one in store.) so having her (In memory of my grandma, she bought me DOZENS of dolls) is really nice. Was a pain in the ass to get her though lol.
I like the new face much more, including the fangs vs full teeth. I didn’t collect the original, so I have no nostalgia for the older one. The lighter skin looked more like a vampire, though.
I really hope these dolls come to Australia 🤞I only got into doll collecting at the end of last year (but I was watching things about dolls for a year and a half before that) and the only dolls I have right now is rainbow high so I really want to get at least one monster high doll (preferable Draculaura or Frankie)

There were different face variants back then, my Draculaura is a later 2010 batch because she has black elastics instead of gold so I think that explains it

Hello there! I think you got what would be the brazilian version of Draculaura. That sticker right there with the letter N and 'Segurança' (security) written on it it's from The National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO), as far as I know it only exists in Brazil. It's quite funny that you got it lol
It's a international version, so this MH will come to Brazil, Mattel put the box and diary in portuguese, and already give them the Inmetro sticker so they can sell'em in Brazil.
So about the feet thing whenever I got a pedicure when I was younger she would send my grandmas photos of the pedicure. I don’t think my grandmas probably did not want a photo of my feet.
My Walmart still never got marissa Golding and I’ve only seen one shadow high doll there so I’m pretty sure I won’t see these dolls for a while😭 I ordered lagoona just to pass the time til I am able to find them in person
I think most dolls use saran, but some like Spectra and Ghoulia use kanekalon. Not sure if any use nylon, but idk they might’ve changed the materials they use.
Theres actually two variants of the face of the original draculaura i think its the india one and the china one i think china and this repro has a very similar face but with the india variant eyes
also a major difference probably the biggest difference is her mouth the original shows the front teeth painted and the reboot has just the fangs painted, and the lip color is darker in the original and the shape of the lips is different
I'm from the states, but they're meant to cost $25 dollars, so that may go up or down depending on where you live. However, because they were all sold out and scalped on the first day, the prices you see on eBay/ 2nd hand sellers on Walmart aren't in anyway what they sold for, and just people trying to get money out of people (which some people may have to cave to just to get one)
