If there’s anyone else on the inflation struggle bus here’s some tips. SIDES: valve DOWN/OPEN prior to inserting black inflation adapter. FLOOR/KEEL: valve UP/CLOSED prior to inserting inflation adapter. *Deliberate counterclockwise twist prior to pulling adapter out.
Gracias por tu pregunta. Recomendamos un motor de 4hp -9.9hp según el modelo. Elegiríamos una de las siguientes marcas: Yamaha, Mercury, Honda o Tohatsu.
Nice review! For a 10 or 11ft cadet aero. Would a 10hp be enough to reach planing speed if you are 4 normal weight adults +some bags (340kg/750lbs) +weight of motor/fuel?
Hello, Johan! Keep in mind it's a soft bottom boat so a "true" plane like a hard bottom boat is not a reality. But a 10hp on a boat that size is a great choice and is plenty of power to move around people or gear, assuming the boat is rated for that large of a motor.
Hello, Miguel! I apologize for the late reply as I did not see your comment until now. The main difference between the two is that the Fastroller is a bit wider and the keel and floor are connected so no assembly required. Simply fill up with air and go!
Thank you.. Expat in Brighton England. What is the two hooks in either side in the inside used for? It this to attached cables for davits? The patch peeled away. What do I use to glue it back please? Thank you.
Hello! Yes, you are correct, the hooks are designed for Davits, however, you can use them to help secure anything you like within the boat. Our parts department recommends Stapon glue to reattach the patch. Have a great day!
hello, I'd like to ask if all previous Zodiac Cadets, eg older Fastroller models have welded seams? I found conflicting info about this, some people saying they were glued for some time.
Thank you for your question! The Fastrollers have been discontinued and our team recommends reaching out to Zodiac directly to confirm which models in the past may have had welded seams. Thank you and have a great day!
Good afternoon! Yes, it is possible to ski with a Aero 350 though it would depend on a few other factors such as horsepower and weight for how fast you would be able to go. You would need at least a 20HP outboard to get going!
Hello there! Thank you for your patience in receiving a response over the holiday. Here is a link to a video on inflating the RIB. I hope this is helpful! ruclips.net/video/uG33cH7j8TQ/видео.html
Good morning, Pistolet! While the 15hp and 20hp are nearly identical in many ways, we must always recommend you stick with the manufacturer guidelines. A more powerful outboard may have negative effects on the performance of the boat.
This depends on usage. In tropical environments, Hypalon/CSM is definitely the more durable fabric choice. In arctic/subarctic climates PVC with heat welded seams, like the Zodiac Cadets, might have the edge. Both boats are premium brands and I like them both for different reasons. But, the UV resistance of CSM can often be the deciding factor.
That's a great question! These boats have multiple air chambers. If one is punctured you can still rely on the others to keep the vessel afloat and get back to safety.
Thank you 👍
You're welcome!
