The pinions are all interchangeable between abs and non abs, the thick shims and collars are all different so mark everything from whatever diff they are from and then swap all the shit until it fits.... I've just done this for a 4.6

You CAN run the non-abs diff with an abs driveshaft if you are desperate.... the diff is only ~0.75-1 inch shorter, so your slip yoke won't sit in as far but its perfectly drivable

I feel you bro. I did a torsen diff swap on my miata a couple weeks ago, and had all the parts I needed. I ended up having to buy a new subframe, axle, wheel hub/bearing, driveshaft, and axle nut because of unforeseen problems and bad luck. An 8 hour job too 12 days. Sometimes it just sucks, but it’ll turn out ok in the long run🙂

also you need to know the contact patch u need to paint it and spin it and see if it matches and uses shims to move it around and get it right there are a lot of measurements
