Hi from Toronto Canada , Congratulations on your new home , great tour .....a beautiful house love the interior doors , kitchen is classy beautiful bathrooms , great size garden ...looking forward to your journey , enjoy your beautiful new home ( have subscribed Thank you ) 🇨🇦
Definitely do the rectangular room as the bedroom because having that as a walk in won’t be the best I’d do the bigger room as the walk in wardrobe you can fit cabinets in all the awkward spaces and utilise it well and possibly have a mini island for hair makeup etc also you would much rather sleep at the back of the house rather than the front don’t worry about the tv arial points most tvs work via WiFi anyways so there almost redundant
Thank you for the comment! This was our original plan, however with having a super king bed this didn’t allow for bed side tables and much room for comfort.
@@LilyandAshley_ in the back of my mind I knew this was gonna happen all I can say is if your doing a wrap around closet use corner bits don’t waste the corners and try to go to the ceiling it gives a professional finish and if you have any gaps on the sides and bottom do your best to get some strips of trim put on there use wood filler for any nail holes and if you caulk for seamless finish make sure it’s paintable caulk but only if your painting the actual wardrobes and if your fitting lights buy ones that plug in and buy them long enough don’t buy rechargeable or battery operated they are honestly the same price but more hassle in the long run and if your doing doors make sure their inset so they open better even if butted up against the wall other than that I’m really excited for this and can’t wait for this beautiful journey and congratulations 🥳
@@LilyandAshley_ thanks, that’s very cheap. I wish we could get that. In Edinburgh we’re looking at £299,995 for a 2 bedroom Taylor wimpey house with mortgage rates going up as well it’s not cheap. Wondering whether it’s worth it. What area did you buy in? I want prices like that lol
Thank you!! We didn’t no, unfortunately in our area the price of the house on a new build is the price but we were happy with the price anyway. However, we were able to request an incentive, this is something some developers may offer, although not all advertise they do, so always ask if they can give you money towards your options or any legal fees.
Hey thanks for the reply! I'm just trying to gather some information before talking to the developers. With the market the way it is there has to be some movement from them. I'm guessing you guys bought and got your morgage when the times were not so bad right ?
@@SSJ2084 I’d definitely recommend speaking to them, there will be movement somewhere I’m sure, some developers will help you as much as they can, others will have no movement, so definitely shop around and speak to numerous developers. Alternatively they also do lots of incentive schemes which are cost affective or sometimes you may have a specific house type you like and they have available plot already available, meaning you won’t be able to chose any options but they may be upgraded and you won’t have to fit the bill for them. We unfortunately didn’t, we locked ours in as they were pulling lots of offers, ours was on the rise, if we’d waited any longer it may of not happened for us at that time but I’m a strong believer, everything happens for a reason.
The two bedrooms are classed as doubles, however are much larger, we don’t have exact measurements but they are the full width of the house. The house for a 2 bedroom is reasonable in size but again unfortunately, we don’t have exact measurements x
@@LilyandAshley_ I don't understand why in UK they selling houses with few tiles only (why not full wall tiles or full without) ,also kitchen is ok but not many kitchen cabinets and shelves for pots and food and without space for big dishwasher -all needs space and dishwasher. But I am happy with you because you have your small place on earth.I am apologising for my English.
@@101kobieta this is a option you can choose to have them full tiled if you’d prefer. As this is only a 2 bedroom it’s not a big kitchen, you can pay to have extra fitted if you would like them.

Great house just wondering roughly what the price was? I’m looking in Edinburgh and the price is ridiculous!
Thank you!! We paid £225,500 for our house but this does depend on area you choose to buy in of course but hope this helped x

That's... Not a cloakroom. That's a toilet.......
Edit: that's not a hob.. that's a pull out overhead fan
Nie rozumiem dlaczego jest tylko kilka płytek w łazience.Niech nie kładą wcale skoro tak drogo budowa wychodzi
