Another interesting walk. For us outsiders, your commentary makes all the difference. I'm just glad you didn't get lost...;o)

Thanks for watching! It's easy to get lost in NYC. 😉

Damn that street changed. I knew people who had a little market back in the 70s. Plus the bowling ally and pool hall are either gone or renovated

Yea. The pool hall closed years ago and they tore the building down to start construction on a new building. Probably residential and commercial mixed.

I lived on 72nd street from 1992 to 2022 . I worked at Lincoln Brokerage on Bay Ridge Avenue at the time of the tornado in 2006.

Welcome back, been a minute. That building at 457 Ovington that you stopped at is now 125 years old (built in 1899)! And listed for 2.1 million.

I was looking for the St. Nicholas Home for Adults which I believe was on Ovington Ave. off 5th. Do you know whether it's still there?

Go back and watch. Right after I cross 4th Avenue on next block. I look right at it. Its closed down now.

    When are you going
    to Dyker for the
    Christmas decorations?

I live in Dyker Heights and I have been featuring the Christmas homes in separate videos all month. Feel free to click on the videos tab on my channels home page to watch the ones you missed. I will continue to feature more homes and will eventually do a walk through review before Christmas.
