You're daft. DC's clinch is one of the best in MMA. Its the one place he has consistently worked everyone he has ever fought, including Jones. You have no clue what you're watching.
Chris, the lack of strength in the clinch and wrestling is due to cutting so much weight on a chubby frame at an old age. Even still his clinch and dirty boxing is second to none. With no weight cut he still retains his hand speed with more power and more strength, while being harder to move and control in the clinch. Also he has leverage advantage when it comes down to the clinch game. Heavyweight DC can beat anyone on any given night.
INb4 Cain comes out and DC thinks he's there to help but then he low blows DC and Brock gets the win then Brock and Cain shake hands and start a new heel stable, and DC has to ask his biggest enemy "Jon Jones" for help to take out his former best friend and Brock.

I think a lot of people are just upset about seeing the UFC delve into those cheesy WWE shenanigans. Many people take pride in the fact that the UFC tries to portray itself as a sport that is "as real as it gets," so when they see that kind of fluff, they frown upon it thinking "if I wanted to see fake/pretend beef, I'd just watch that WWE crap." Whether you agree or disagree, it's easy to understand why people might be a little turned off by it.

He can make people give a damn. That trait has more value than all the wins and championships you can imagine because without the ability to make people care being the best fighter means nothing. Fanboys who go on and on about their perception of the sports integrity need to chill the hell out and realize the whole thing started to sell the specticle and the reality is its the specticlel of two men stepping into the octagon to do battle that sells this and not some perception of combat superiority.
There's just something about DC that is unlikeable, and I've never been able to figure it out. He does nothing wrong, and is a great fighter, but he just doesn't make the needle move....ever. Hell, 90% of the fans would still root for Jon Jones, even after all the shit he's done wrong, and I'm one of the 90%. It's a mystery??

Your spot on, i think its his smugness...yea hes done nothing wrong and now holds 2 belts, but its his attitude of "im better then everyone" he doesnt even have to say it, his body language says it...he just has a personality that gets under your skin...like that summer presser, when D.C. had the belt before they went at it (jones) the 2nd time, D.C. is so cringe at trash talk...hes not that guy and when he tries to sound like a G its just wierd... your right on that its kinda of a mystery and most people who might of cheered D.C. sleepin Stipe, would root for Jones if they faught again. We live in a society where most people dont care for the squeeky clean image, and when people know thats who you are, but then you try to talk like a badass or a G it comes across as phony..if i was D.C. i wouldnt of accepted the belt back after the head kick k.o. and jones coming up dirty...i know its a belt, but it did D.C. more harm then good with fans, especially the diehard mma fans, because just about everyone called him a paper champion with a fake belt...how can that be good??? id rather not have the fn thing....honestly D.C. had more fans at that time, before the fake belt...i think everyone is underestimating Brock in this fight...hes as legit as they come, D.C. has the advantage, but thats on paper, all that goes out the window when the cage door shuts...

Why are you going to come and put race into mix? I know this might be shocking to you but people can have an opinion on someone and there is nothing wrong with it. People can disagree and there is nothing wrong with it. But of course you want to be a racist, and make it a race issue because someone who is white, has an opinion about someone who is black, that you don't like or agree with. DC never pulled out of a fight?? That is incorrect Chael. DC pulled out of UFC 197 title fight against Jon Jones because of a leg injury and was replaced by Ovince Saint Preux on the April 23 card at the MGM Grand. Much respect to you and all your work. Great content!
