ANCHOR - The Award Show is the highlight of the previous competition. On
this special evening our wonderfull hosts Pelle Almqvist and Alexandra Maurer present the best six up-and-coming live acts of the year at the St. Pauli Theater, and the jury consisting of Katie Melua, Banks, Tayla Parx and Tony Visconti announces the winner of the ANCHOR 2023.
From September 20-23, the Reeperbahn Festival 2023 took place. Since its debut in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has become one of the most important meeting points for the music world and shows how an overflowing musical line-up can be combined with music industry interests and civil society engagement.
In addition to concerts, the programme also included formats from the visual arts and virtual reality as well as a thematically diverse range of films and literature. During sessions, showcases, networking events and award shows, trade visitors to the Reeperbahn Festival were able to rethink, experience and listen to music.
The Reeperbahn Festival takes place under the sign of togetherness - racism, sexism, homophobia and exclusion have no place with us.

An diesem besonderen Abend präsentieren unsere wunderbaren Moderator*innen Pelle Almqvist und Alexandra Maurer im St. Pauli Theater die besten sechs aufstrebenden Live-Acts des Jahres - und die Jury, bestehend aus Katie Melua, Banks, Tayla Parx und Tony Visconti, gibt den Gewinner des ANCHOR 2023 bekannt.
Vom 20.-23. September fand das Reeperbahn Festival 2023 statt. Seit dem Debüt im Jahr 2006 hat sich das Reeperbahn Festival zu einem der wichtigsten Treffpunkte für die Musikwelt entwickelt und zeigt, wie sich ein überbordendes musikalisches Line-Up mit musikwirtschaftlichen Interessen und zivilgesellschaftlichem Engagement verbinden lässt. Neben Konzerten umfasste das Programm auch Formate aus der Bildenden Kunst oder Virtual Reality sowie ein thematisch vielfältiges Film- und Literaturangebot. Im Rahmen von Sessions, Showcases, Networking Events und Award-Shows konnten Fachbesucher*innen des Reeperbahn Festivals Musik neu denken, erleben und hören.
Unsere Festivals finden im Zeichen des Miteinanders statt- Rassismus, Sexismus, Homophobie und Ausgrenzung finden bei uns keinen Platz.

What a great one man band performance. It is truly a skill to play the guitar and have it build yourself up through out the song. Having that awareness as an artist is truly a gift and a joy to experience. She starts slow then just delivers fire towards the end. This is what real musicians look like.
