ABOUT DRESSRELIEF
My name is Mariel, and I started getting into fashion in the past few years and am learning so much about it. I'm drawn to fashion as I believe it is an art form that not only allows individuals to express themselves but also creates a history and record of different time periods and generations. I've had a lot of fun learning how to put together outfits and use different styles to tell a story through the way I dress. I started this channel to share what I learn along my fashion journey and hopefully help others learn and find their style as well.

Sewstine is another youtuber that has made several tutorials on how she made her Ghiblicore dresses. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants to make a Ghiblicore wardrobe.
i feel like ghiblicore is my vibe in a lot of ways but for fashion it always seems a little plain for me? (not howl lol) like it makes sense for the movies and all the complexity of animation but it's hard to me (personally!) to feel like i have a creative and fun outfit if it's like, a loose solid-color dress like kiki's or mei's or sheeta's or arrietty's. i could get into some of the details in costumes like nausicaa's or maybe some specific accessories, but overall i think i'd go more for the energy of the whole movies rather than the outfits in them. like botanical prints, for example, aren't actually used in the movies but have a connection.
I think going for general energy of the movies works too! I feel like ghiblicore fashion is pretty new so it’s up for interpretation. Botanical prints could definitely give ghibli vibe too :)
Me, gasping when I read the title of this video...not even my personal styke but just the idea of listening to it seemed so calming...like the lo-fi of fashion vlogs. More please! And i just watched your vid where you mention showing how to mix aesthetics. Super into that for a series!!
